Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionEMERGENCY....Can my wife revoke 751 after approval
Look I rarely judge anyone but based on the way people are talking in this thread it is coming across as a party over the fact that he got his greencard approved and left his wife when she was no longer of use to him. I am merely expressing a freedom of speach and despite what you said it made me say ewww and it still does. I am sure that if he is legitimate then the USCIS knows and if he's not he will get caught at some point. The governments paperwork system may suck, but they know things.

Ewww.... honestly why do you care to be here? You seriously married in good faith and it all fell apart 1 month before your greencard? Sure.. you sound like a winner.... hope she finds a actual good man.

PhilippinesEvidence of having met within the last 2 yrs
The more evidence you can submit the better, but phone cards are not really that good because you could have called anyone using a phone card. You have to prove you were in an ongoing relationship with her and talking to her and so you would have to prove that you called her phone number and phone cardds do not help you in this case.

You started this thread and stated that you are trying to provide proof of having met and that would mean that you would provide travel documents.

If you are trying to prove validity of the relationship, then e-mails and letters and phone bills would apply, but phone cards do not help you to obtain that. The chat logs are okay, but you should work on trying to obtain more evidence such as sworn affidavits from friends and families on both sides of the family and from both countries. You should try to get people to certify them in front of a notary when they sign it because it helps.

All my husband and I really had was a bunch of sworn statements when we filed and then he took chat logs and all that other stuff with him to the interview.

You should check out the guides CLICK HERE because they can be so helpful

PhilippinesEvidence of having met within the last 2 yrs
Sure you can, but the travel documents suffice for the most part when it comes to proving you have met in person.

The problem with phone card is that there is not really a record to indicate who you have used them on unless you have some sort of a statement to prove you called her phone number and most phone cards do not provide that information, but are you trying to prove you have met or are you asking about using these as some sort of proof to the validity of your relationship?

PhilippinesTrying not to think about it
I think there is a lot of pressure involved in anything like this, but worrying and fretting seems to make the time go by a lot more slowly. Try getting the house ready, make some room in your closet, wash the car and weed the garden... not only will you feel as if you have accomplished a lot of things to make the place have a more welcoming feel for her, but you will also be keeping yourself occupied with heavy duty jobs that take time and effort and it will help you ease your mind a lot. I know because time flew by as I scrubbed the house down before Loke came home... he was busy as hell and I was busy as hell and hell... we were busy lol

It was good to keep that way and the time flew by a lot faster. We really didn't have a lot of time to worry much and I also did a great deal of our Adjustment of Status paperwork as well and that kept me in tuned with the next step while he rushed to sell his stuff and pack. I hope this helps some.

Oh yeah! And good luck!!!

Philippines1751
Entry of Judgment of Divorce Nisi: This is the preliminary judgment that the judge enters after trial. In some instances the judge will enter the judgment immediately, but you will probably wait at least one month for every day of trial. For instance, if your trial lasted three days, expect to wait three months for a judgment. The judgment will include provisions for the division of assets, and alimony. If you have children, the judgment also includes orders relative to their care, custody and support. If you are dissatisfied with the judgment, you might file motions for relief from judgment or an appeal to a higher court.

Entry of Judgment of Divorce Absolute: This is the final judgment that enters automatically 90 days after entry of the judgment of divorce nisi. Until the final judgment is issued, you are not legally free to remarry. The child-related terms and alimony provisions of the judgment remain in effect unless and until a material change in circumstances occurs, in which event you may file a complaint for modification. Property issues are not subject to modification.

You have to have the official papers. Go to the county clerk and ask for the stamped official papers of your disolution of marriage.

You have to go to the county clerk where you were divorced and ask them for the copies of the stamped paperwork. They normally mail you copies, but they are not stamped as official. cost like $5 to $10 in most states for official copies.

Philippinesmy fiancee is scared about the interview
All they care about is your relationship with her. They will ask about her job because they are checking to see if she has a reason to fraud the system by marrying an American just to get into the country. If you have a legitimate relationship and valid proof of your relationship, then she should have nothing to fear. Just have her bring as much evidence as possible with her.

Philippineshelp i need to renew my passport asap....
Call your post office and see if they do passports (most of them do) and ask them if you need a new 2" photo or if they will supply it. My post office did the photo for me and had the forms and everything. Call them and see if they can help you out. A renewal passport should be free of charge if you make a change to it within 1 year of it being issued.

PhilippinesIntroducing Our Partners/SO
I also love this thread. I think some people do want to talk about those who they love. With that being said....

Loke does all the laundry and I do dishes and housework lol... he always pays the rent and I pay the other bills. He is free like me, addicted to the internet like me and we never fight. When I want to fight, he gets all reasonable and I loose lol.

He is the most amazing man I ever met. He believes in a life that's fair and honest and fun all at the same time. His smile is worth more than everything I own. He drives me nuts and I hate him and yet I love the ####### out of him. He debates with me, but not with a harsh tone. He is reasonable and sensible and it frustrates me lol... probably because I always want to be right about everything and I'm not.

He is everything I need... a man who can teach me patience and yet allow me to be me. He is my soul mate and the love of my life. He loves my human flaws because they are a part of my human and I love his flaws because they are a part of him.

We have been married now for 2 1/2 years and I still feel newlywed. We are not perfect, we are us.

Thank you.

PhilippinesMedical Exam - X-ray Result Problem
QUOTE (loveaboo @ Sep 11 2009, 06:47 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Hello to all!

My fiance and I are still waiting for our NOA2 but we're planning ahead...

Anyways, I'm nervous about the X-ray test. I had a persistent cough from May to July. It wasn't really so bad. It's just that there were times I had cough attacks especially when it's so warm here. Since I'm not into taking chemically-prepared medicines, I didn't consult a doctor and I've taken herbal medicines only. Now, I'm worried that it might affect the X-ray result when the time comes.

I'm just curious about the people here who had a problem with their X-ray results at St. Lukes...Are you aware of the reason why you had the problem? If so, what was it?

Are there people here who had the same issue as mine? Did it cause a problem in your X-ray result?

I'm thinking of taking a chest X-ray before I take my medical exam though I'm not sure how helpful will it be since I've read in some posts here that the X-ray machine at SLEC is more advanced than the usual X-ray machines being used in others and that it has the ability to see something which other X-ray machines can't.

Thanks smile.gif

I agree with the above statement. A plane ticket to see each other would cost you less than this one month. I filed K3 so trust me when I say you should really look into the CR1 before you jump for love. It's just a better visa than K3 and costs less.

its better to go for cr1 than k3.

cr1- once you arrive here in usa and you get your green card and ssn you can immediately work...and its cheap.

K3 and CR1 average about 1 month apart and the CR1 is a better visa honestly

Not sure what LWSM means but I hope you're not cutting me down hahaha.

On another note, I don't think that all men have more to loose by getting married than women do. I mean, I could be a rich doctor that drives a mercedes and he could be a worthless bum that never worked and I was his mommy for 5 years taking care of his lame @#% because working apparently wasn't his "style".

Then when we got divorced he got half of everything I owned and left me with his debt which was so sweet of him.... oh wait........ this is not a scenario this really happened....

So yeah.... women have just as much to loose as men.

It's an official sex contract that binds you by the power of looooooooooooove. You cannot pass go and you cannot collect $200 unless you put out tongue.gif you have the right to remain silent and anything you say can be used against you in a court of love. wheeew! Such a hot burning passion you have for him..wow! energy.gif

He is my Australian sex god and I worship the ground he walks on. I don't believe marriage is anything but spending your life with someone you are madly in love with. It's about waking up next to that person and making him late for work by overloading him with extra kisses. It's about growing old together and loving each other for their human. Humans are flawed. It's about lovinig the flaws that come with his human because they are apart of him or her.

It's not binding, it's not contractual, it's not forced, it's a choice from the heart and sometimes love makes that choice for us.

It's about knowing that when you are old and your teeth are falling out, your love is going to be there to put them back in for you.

It's about having passion for someone.. passion unmistakable... passion the world can see... love that some people may never find. And it's about being thankful that you are lucky enough to have it.
