K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	I just got my NOA2	What a nice surprise for you and as everyone has said that was sure fast. CONGRATULATIONS!!! Next step is to the NVC where it is eventually sent to the embassy in Juarez and from there your SO will be the one running around getting things done. I think what you can do now, if not already done, is prepare the 1-34 Affidavit (though I am not sure how recent that must be... so maybe ask someone else about this), get together evidence of ongiong relationship (phone bills, photos, e-mails, time spent together so plane tickets, etc.), copy the NOA2 once you receive it and send that plus a copy of the I-129F petition and the Affidavit of support to your fiance. Maybe I am missing something since I am actually right about where you are at, but from what I have read in the guides and other people's journeys, this would be the next step. While it is possible to get it approved very quickly, I think it is much more likely that someone just punched the wrong key and set up the approval notice. If you don't get an approval notice in the mail within two weeks, then you know someone just screwed up again. Unfortunately, this is the most likely scenario. The possibility of being approved is if they chose your file when it came in to teach someone the entire process and took it from the beginning to the end. Don't get crazy about this, but the likelihood of such a quick approval is pretty low. This is what I keep telling myself or creating scenarios of why this happened... trying to not get my hopes up until it is confirmed or I find out differently. Embrace your blessing and give thanks ! Oh believe me that I am the first to be giving thanks... and even if it is not true I would not trade this journey for anything because in the end it takes me to my love, or rather brings him to me. It is as you said that it is the way the gift is packaged that often makes us skeptical. I will let you all know what actually happens with this, once I receive the confirmation. When I entered the receipt number this came up: Application Type: I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) Current Status: Approval notice sent. On February 28, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service. That is great right... but I am leary being that I am a Nebraska filer and my timeline says that it will not be adjucated until June. Granted all that could change and could be sooner, but I thought those timelines were pretty close on. Don't get me wrong, this is amazing news... just don't want to get my hopes us too soon. Is it possible they entered the wrong information or gave me someone else's receipt numer? Not trying to be all down about this, but it is hard enough waiting and do not want to celebrate when I were to actually have a few months left to wait. Guess all I can do is wait to receive the notice in the mail or call the service center on Monday to see if this is true. What does anyone else think? Thanks in advance. That seems really strange... Are you sure you filed at Nebraska? I won't be surprised if your case was filed to Vermont because they approve cases so quickly. It is real strange and that is why I am questioning the whole thing and finding it hard to even celebrate. I sent it to Nebraska where it was signed for. I know it was sent to California because the NOA1 receipt I received today came from California. So honestly I do not know what is going on. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	affidavid but not of support	I think this depends on who is writing the letter and what other evidence of meeting or relationship you have. We had a pastor in the community I stayed in write a letter testifying I was there on said dates because I had little evidence besides plan tickey itenerary, photos and a phamplet from the church service with date I was at while there. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	RFE/NOA/NOA2	Do the RFEs/NOA1/NOA2 come through email or snail mail? Also, I've noticed everyone tracking their "touches" through this website. Is there a way to do this via USCIS website? Sorry for all the questions but I'm new on this... Thanks! Once you get your USCIS receipt number, which you can get from the NOA1 hard copy you get via snail mail or you can read it off your check once it is returned. I got mine from the NOA1 as I don't get checks back in the mail. Then you will go to the USCIS website and you can either just check it on-line or register to get e-mail updates. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	CSC\NSC\TSC Time lines	Ok... feel a bit silly, but just figured out how to change the consulate. Cuba is not listed, so it is blank now. Cuba has no official consulate or embassy due to relations with this country. Sorry for any confusion. Do you really have your NOA2? NOA2 is your approval so either it is a mistake or you went through Vermont because 5 days for CA is not normal Hard to believe I know... but I did get both a hard copy from the CSC for a NOA1 and a week later our NOA2. Not sure how or why we have it... and still praying it is no mistake. Would that even be possible? But we did in fact get the hard copy NOA2 that says our I-129F petition has been approved the 28th and is being sent to the NVC.
