By the way if anyone needs a cheap way to send money to the Phils, I have a Wells Fargo International Remittance account. Cost $5 for each deposit you make, then she can withdrawl money at an atm there.

My husband sent me a Bank of America and Washington Mutal debit cards before. They are good in ATM machines that has a PLUS sign. As far as I remember, they charge 11 pesos per withrawal.

Nice day.

Hey Spunky that's good news.

Congratulations to Gary too.

PW, I'm really happy for you  Hope to hear from you soon.

Wow this thread has been a story of great successes.

Hi Rebel, to answer your question:

1.) Your middle name now is your last name before which is your last name on your birth certificate. Don't leave it blank.

In US, people aren't big of using their mother's maiden name as their middle name. That's a culture thing.

2.) You need to go to an accredited Civil Surgeon (click on the link). The doctor might give you a TD shot and he's the one who will fill-up the I-693A for you. This signed I-693A must be included in your whole packet.

Guys, we're sorry if we're talking about AOS here,... it's just we don't want to leave this thread :P

I know bout the 550 php terminal fee but what is a travel tax and who has to pay for it?

PW is right. My ticket was bought in US (via Orbitz), PAL straight flight from Manila to CA so I didn't pay for the travel tax in the Philippine airport. It's always safe to bring money just in case.

Have a fun-filled wedding day (tomorrow-June 1st) Rebelheart

And for everyone who's on the waiting list, it's sad but we also know that there's always a light at the end of the tunnel.

Blessings!!!

I'm a newbie here. I just want to inquire about the documents that I need to prepare while waiting for our document to arrive in Manila. Bdw, I'm appying for a K1-Visa and the application was approved from the USCIS last week (May 25 to be exact). My fiance is planning to buy/reserve a ticket but from what I understand while reading your messages here, most of you guys took 3 months just to get an interview date. I visited the US Embassy Manila site but sadly I can't find any information that will say the lenght of waiting time just to get an interview for a k1-Visa.

From NOA2 (Notice of Action I-797 Approval Notice), yeah 3 months is a reasonable timeframe. And from NOA2 to the interview date, to some it took them 4 months, to some it took them 5 months. Patience is the key :) .

Hi Wendy! Long time no hear. You're lucky you live in Texas and able to use DORA.

Hey PW, I'm doing good. Yes the program (DORA) is actually exclusive for Dallas, for now. Wow paperworks never end. AOS isn't different with preparing for the embassy interview. I hope your paperwork gets speed up. Well I lurk a lot of times in here so I'm sure I would get an update.

By the way, how long did you guys receive packet 4 from NVC receipt date? I heard in Manila USembassy they don't send out packet 3 anymore, yes?

NVC receipt date or Manila Embassy Receipt date? I don't know the answer on the first stuff but I know that on the Pre-Interview Notice, they say it takes 180 days from the day Manila Embassy receives the case for you to get the packet. Don't worry djcess, the process seems to speed up these days so you may get the packet less than 180 days.

The embassy still sends out packets. But there are numerous cases that beneficiaries don't get to receive packets due to some reasons (e.g. Undeliverable address). On these cases, they call the embassy and request to send their packets to St. Lukes and they just pick them up on their medical day (Window F, Ground Floor).

Speaking of Delbros...that company is a piece of Sh8t!!!

My fiance we approve April 11. As of this moment Delbros still havent delivered the visa. Can u believe this...3 weeks just for them to deliver it. I think regardless where u live they should deliver it in timely manner. Sorry guys juz wanted to release all this anger towards delbros. The #where u could txt is useless. Tracking system...useless....the whole company is a piece of Sh8t!!!!

Well don't loose heart Caillen. I'll try again. Here's a number to call. 0927-270-7543. Actually that number is the "manong's" number who delivered my visa. I know that he's not assigned in Pampanga area but if you would really want to talk to someone and at least enlighten you of their whole process, you may call him. Because a lot of times when the visa seems "undeliverable", it's either they would return it to the embassy or leave it to the nearest addresse's post office. A friend of mine actually picked her visa at the Post Office. Which was weird actually.

how u doing? so ur in texas pala.... hope to talk to u someday, if u cud Pm me your contact #, im just here in atlanta not far from you

Hey Rebel, I'm glad that you're at last unpacking your stuffs (Which were evidently packed long time ago :P ). I just sent you a PM by the way.

Have a wonderful day everyone!

hello everyone...its me again. Pls help. Last April 11 my fiance pass his interview...they said 6-10 days waiting for the visa. April 17 delbros txt my fiance saying that they recvd the visa from the imigration they will deliver within 5 days. As of this very moment no visa had been deliver and no word from delbros. How long does is really take for them to deliver a freaking....visa

He lives in Tarlac pampanga...is anybody from there? I'm juz really upset coz we keep on rebooking his flight. Plsss....any advice how delbros works...thanks so much...

Hi Caillen, congratulations for the approval!

Anyway here are my thoughts:

1.) You may try to text Delbros at 0917-622-1949 (Case No., last name, first name)
2.) You may also want to track the visa on this site http://www.delbros.com/ , use the passport number to track.
3.) You can also try to call the embassy.

I understand your frustration. I hope your fiance will get the visa soon.

I am K-1 . I am getting a little worried. Rosemarie is having a hard time finding coberrating paperwork for Josh to get his passport. Need to get his BC changed, but how much paperwork does a 9 yr old in the PI have. Just BC and probably Baptismal certificate. Soooooo, I still have 2 weeks , but I might just have to go ahead with bringing Rosemarie over here first

Honestly I don't have an experience on K2 or K4. But as far as I understand, yes, you can bring Rosemarie ahead and apply for F2A for Josh later after Rosemarie becomes LPR. That might be hard for Rosemarie but that's that, you don't have enough time and you need to choose. BC change takes 1-4 months, depends on where you are in PI.

I also feel sorry about your paperwork situation. A piece of advice, know what to do, know the consequences and go for it  .

God bless!

Nakashima, hang on there and you'll get the visa soon. They do marriage index at times and it won't take long for sure.

PW, is spunky66 K1 or K3? Per his profile he's on K3 but I might be wrong.

Congratulations guys!

Hey guys I hope you remember me :D .

I just wanted to say wishes for Malambing, Charsiimogen and Nakashima for their upcoming interviews. Be good, wear a little make-up, wear presentable clothes, don't forget to smile and be confident.

I'm now here with my husband in Dallas. My POE was at San Francisco. My husband met me there and we really had fun. We got to see the aquarium museum, the Golden Gate, China Town and other stuffs. I also got to see the popular Las Vegas lights from 1000m above. It was really neat. We only stayed at Las Vegas airport for about an hour and flew to Austin and drove from Austin to Dallas. Wow.. it was a longgggg trip. But it was fun because at last my husband and I are together. Our joy is really undescribable. We're going to Arkansas and Tennessee this weekend. Well another long trip but I'm sure it will be fun and another loving experience for us.

As PW said, yeah.. it takes patience. I know the waiting is SO bad but tell you, it's worth waiting for.

Blessings everyone!

CENOMAR is needed. Here's the link to confirm that. Refer to #8. By the way the website was updated less than a month so your packets don't show the latest update yet.

I'm sorry guys. No link  .

By the way, the CENOMAR thing is applicable only for K1.

Okay .. here it is: http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3217.html

I got my visa today  And I also had the sticker from CFO today.

I'll be flying to US on the 31st of this month. WOW at last I'll be with my husband for good.
