What a suprise to see form I-797 coming home from work and in the pouring rain....lol!!!! My petition was approved on 3/16/10. Just called Laddawan and woke her up and she was so excited!!!!!! Funny thing though I never received a text or email and I am signed up for both...oh well! I as happy as a kid in a candy store now guy...congrats to everyone again!!!!!!! Now here is all that rain.. If it isn't snow as it was 2 weeks ago now we age getting flooded by rain..............Arrrrrrrrrr .......................Even the Parrot is taking cover down below.. I am confident I picked the right man for the job of Captain..... I saw a poster yesterday and it said. LIFE WITHOUT DESTINY ............. IS LIKE A SHIP WITHOUT A CAPTAIN................... I guess Matt is still in Sick Bay... Now I know why I haven't seen me wench in a week... He took up my offer to use as needed... Yes PJ I've returned from sick bay..it was a long trip by myself but I survived the storm and back to report a little good news...today 3/13/09 had my first touch since my I-129f was submitted I hope better days are a head of me and everyone else on this journey!!!!!!!!!! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	December K-1 2009 Filers VSC	Yeah I had a crazy weekend as well as it seems alot of us Dec. guys had. On friday my dog was very sick and today(monday) around 8am I had to put my beloved 13yr old pit bull Madison to sleep. She was suffering from liver failure and was just a matter of time before she passed. So my family and I agreed it was the best thing to do for her. So on top of waiting for Laddawan and for my NOA2 to be approved...this happens to me!!!! Can anyone say extra rum for the Texas guy???lol Sorry to be a downer guys, but just thought I'd share a little piece of my personal life other than this crazy journey we are all on. I'm trying to stay positive and upbeat but its hard...the one thing that would help would be approval soon, lol!!!! I also finalized my divorce on 12-9-2009 after 21 Loooong months! We would have filed in September, but I had to wait for our very slow courts here in VA to give me the signed divorce decree. I hope you receive good news soon! Jim Yeah finalized mine after 17 months or so. I wish I could of finalized it upon my return from Thailand...but I too had to wait for the court system to run its course. But soon I will be with Laddawan once again....she is my love, my life and my everything!!! Good luck to you and all of us on this wild journey!!! We also don't use the webcam every day so that when we do it's a nice surprise to see each other's faces. She loves Yahoo Messenger but I prefer Skype.. I log all chats so we can print them off before she goes for her interview.. I too am very happy to see November filers getting approved.. It's a good sign.. Maybe by the end of March we'll start to see December filers approved. Yeah skype webcam is what we use as well...and I also logg all skype chats and yahoo messenger chats as well....Im sure by the time of her interview we will have plenty, lol. Anyone know of a good way to contain all of the chat loggs? A binder would be to small..possibly some sort of document box or something Im assuming would work. Mapt. Reddstars, Mark and Carol, just to name a few we have turned this into the best Forum for the second half of 2009. A and J stated that the Dec.VSC forum has kept them positive .......and Jared and May injected that poem to my Team Cap't ...... Mapt.. It's like a tight group here that sticks together and don't sling mud at VSC or each other.... Keep it up people.!! This is why we are here.. Not to act childish.. But to act mature and positive.. This will get us through the next 2 months or hopefully before for the day we get our NOA-2's....... If you keep in contact with your family here they can tell you it has really sucked here in NJ.. Last wednesday I could not even get to my job and the schools were closed for 2 days.. Philidelphia got hammered more than we did....Mapt. is probably as tired of all this ####### as I am... Yeah we have been intouch with my family up there and they are saying the same things you are saying, lol!! Its been unusually cold here in Texas for this long and we are all tired of it here as well. However we of course are not buried in the snow. Received text and email today from Vermont Service Center..At least the text alert does work!!! Quite schocked when I got the text and email this morning.. I did not expect to get approved so soon and was resigned to the fact that itwould probably take at least 4 months.. I am excited but not prepared.. Once again, VJ is a very small sample of how many K-1s are actually there in VSC and how many are approved each day. Yeah Id be more comfortable too seeing oct and nov get more approvals as well....these are some lucky december people getting approved so quick...I wonder if it has anything to do with the country of the fiance they are trying to get the visa for, just curious....oh well!!!! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	December K-1 2009 Filers VSC	Matt, The firm that is handling your paperwork should mail your NOA1 hardcopy to you. It takes about one week to receive the hardcopy after your paperwork is received. If you haven't already, go to the USCIS website and sign up for automatic notification by email. The USCIS will notify you via email if they require additional information from you. Snail mail can take up to two weeks for you to receive. You will need the case number on the NOA1 to sign up.
