YM Chat, Emails, etc are easily forged.

Don't spend too much time printing all those out.

USEM looks more at Petitioner Passport stamps.

This is true but its a comfort to have them.
Sometimes a psychological boost is all it takes to make it through trying times.

Today was a good day. Radz is here in US and we went to my parents house for a visit and for lunch. I was so happy my parents love Radz so much and I can see she loves them back we had a great time. I was so proud of her and so happy that my family showed her so much love. I was treated the same why by her parents when I visited her in Davao.0

I was a bit nervous when I went to see Shir's parents. They do not speak a lot of english but I was assured that they were very happy with me so I guess I am accepted. good.gif

I know my entire family is all set to welcome Shir into the family! I do expect Shir to be nervous but I know everything will be just fine.

I'm seconding that, not only is he making death threats but he's apparently cyber stalking you gathering documents about you (like the marriage certificate). There may not be anything illegal about him getting a copy like that, but it's damn sure creepy. Honestly your husband shouldn't be hanging out with this dude based on that one post alone.

I'm sick of hearing about how foreigners just want green cards, people who met me once and don't know me at all (ie, friends of family members) even think they are somehow qualified to judge my relationship as being used for a green card... luckily since I'm fairly anti-social I don't have to meet a lot of opinionated a-holes and nut jobs... hopefully anyone I see on a regular basis will have enough tact to not make those kind of statements around my fiancee (SOON TO BE WIFE!) as I'm willing to introduce them to another stereotype that is well known... the violent american man!!!!

ETA: Oops, the question was if I was your husband what would I think... and the first thought that'd enter my head is where to bury his body... the second thought (that I'd go with) would be to report it as a death threat so that it is documented, nothing is likely to come of it but I'd be worried about your safety so I'd be talking to police to see what can be done to help insure it.

YES!!!!! good.gif

Please do not wait! I am very serious about this.

I will hammer away at this point!! headbonk.gif Get the police involved.

Until you are sick of hearing me say it!!

Shir says its my job to worry and I take my job very serious! You folks are all family here and when a family member is threatened I get involved!

CONTACT THE POLICE!!

yes my fiancee had the same problems as well with the pre-screen..lady was a filipina and asked why i havent been working lately....she told my fiancee 60+k in stocks and $140 grand in the banks which clearly shows that money has been steadly accumulating over a time of 5 yrs is not sufficient enough but its up to the officer inside that makes the decision...my fiancee even had my condos title in hand and estimated value in hand....my fiancee then felt really bad and her hopes were down, but the officer didnt even say anything about that stuff...pfft what a bunch of horse ###### with the pre-screens!!!! ....why is it that i hear that the pinoys/pinays working at the embassy are the ones that are the headaches and intimidating the applicants??? those filipinos working in the embassy should be happy more hardworking filipinos are trying to come to america....filipinos are knows across the world as hardworking, intelligent, kind human beings...

Maybe so, but our tax codes are a mess and I can't say I can blame some girl from the Phils who does not know all the details about them.

As long as the decision is made by someone who understands the details I don't care. Those girls do the best they can.

Yes, it is DS 157. Thanks for the correction. Wow, she just left it blank or did she just leave the date blank?

Also, When I print the DS 156 form, the 3rd page generated a barcode. On this page, there are also items # 30- 31(Additional visits to the us, additional visa issuances), is it ok that they are also blank or do I have to put NONE?

Will try to upgrade my acrobat and hope it will work.

DS-156
If you look on page 1 you will see box 29, if you enter data there it shows up on page 3 in box 29
the same thing happens with boxes 30 and 31...

I had no problem with the 156K form but I think if you do not have the most current version of Adobe Reader there could be problems with it.

If you use a black ink I think hand written is ok too.

Philippinesturtle visa
The tracking number will say its not in the system until the embassy releases the visa to Air21. After that time Air21 will enter the numbers and your tracking will start working.

The embassy is busy so its taking more time to get everything printed and packaged.

Has anyone made a conversion with a RP phone?

Hubby bought a celphone from pinas - it worked well here in USA. we bought an open line, tri-band celphone. It works on american sim as well as with "Smart/Globe" sim pack (roaming activated).

For those who may not know...

The IRS that Shir references here is the Internal Revenue Service.

I had provided an IRS transcripts ordered from the IRS for the '05, '06 and '07 tax years.

This is listed on the embassy web site as a valid alternative to an actual 1040 tax form. I would guess its not done much so the pre-screener did not know what it was.

So i was a bit nervous where to start coz i worry that is i said something questionable even its true...I worry that i'll say something that i didnt mean to coz of nervousness. She asked for my NBI Clearance, Cenomar and Birth certificate.
So after i told her our love story she began asking me questions but all were easy especially that i was telling the truth. She told me to got back to the blue chairs. But then, after a minute or so, she called me to go back again. I was wondering why.... When i got back to her, she said she forgot to ask my Aff. of Support, I showed her my I-134 but she need more.. She wants my 1040, which i dont have that 1040 form, but i have an IRS which will cover that, but she said she wanted the 1040, i told her i dont have it and just showed every financial docs i have, but she never bothered to look at them, instead, she just said, the Consul will be the one to ask me that... So i began to worry, i felt dead nervous! As soon as I got back to the blue chairs, I asked a new friend's fiance i met inside the embassy, and he studied my IRS and he said those will do to cover up my 1040 form.

Still i was nervous, i was wondering what will be the Consul decide if i dont have it?..

When my number flashed again on the queue board. Window 27, i stand and began walking, i just whispered, "God, its all up to you now." And in my surprise, i dont know why i felt so calm, and there was no single, itty bitty nervousness i feel that time.

When i opened the door of Wndow 27, i found our that there are 2 cubicle there and 2 Consul, the first Consul was a handsome young guy in there, already interviewing someone, so i went to the far left, and i saw a pretty woman waiting for me, i think she is in her mid 40s! Anyway, I greet her Good Morning as i saw her smiling at me already and she greeted me too!, I already felt her warm and kind hearted.. A beautiful aura! So i sit one of the chairs there while she was busy browsing the computer and fixing the headset on her ears. She keep smiling at me! By that time, the Consul next to us was i think already lost his temper to the girl whom he was interviewing. The speaker also loud that i worry i couldnt hear my Consul if she start to ask me. So, i said "Maam, i think i could not hear you." (lakas ng loob noh?)
And she turned to me and say "Oh, im sorry.." with a very apologetic voice and she fixed her headset. She asked me if the guy next window was loud. And i said yes, so she told the girl assitant on her back to tell the guy consul to adjust his speaker. So, after that i know i can hear her well and understand everything she ask. So she started asking;

What is my fiance's name.
How old is he? (I told my fiance's age and it was his birthday, she said "Oh, its his birthday!" with a tone of amusement!)
She asked me how old i am.
Who is Phil? (my fiance's name)
Who is Paula (my fiance's sister in law whom i exchanged emails with)
What does she think when she saw my wedding dress.(this question was only a trick, coz i still dont have a dress that Phil's sis in law have seen.)
What is my plan on my wedding.
Am i sure that he is the one. (i said YES excitedly)

After that she smiled and she congratulated me that she approved me to get to US to marry my darling! I felt overwhelmingly happy that time and made me deaf for a sec! i just heard her instructing me to go back now to the blue chairs and wait for my number to be flashed again and to pay the Air21.
Before i left, she told me to tell my darling, Happy Birthday! And so i answered her that i will tell him right away! As soon as i get out. And she laughed and i know she was happy about for both of us! I was in cloud nine! I felt my tears were about to fall and i thanked God, He was with me during that time.

I claimed my Pink slip at window 37 and headed to the Air21 booth right next to the door that also lead to the exit door! And that's it! I was wondering why the consul didnt even bothered to asked my 1040 or my I-134 or pics though....

Now im hopeful and patiently waiting for my Visa to arrive!

THANK YOU TO ALL OUR FRIENDS WHO HAD HELPED US PREPARED EVERYTHING AND PRAYED FOR OUR JOURNEY TOGETHER!

God bless us!

Rumor had it was the first K1 Visa from Iowa that any CO at the USEM had seen.

Some of the Pre Screeners at the USEM thought maybe Iowa was a new state in USA, Mabye the 51st state..........
