My wife is not looking for friends, she has many now.

PM me and I will send our phone number and email address.

By all means get an extension. You have come too far to stop now.

I joined VisaJourney about a year ago and I am very thankful to VJ because it helped us very much with my visa journey.

The reason I am posting this, it is because I just want to express how I feel about those VJers that all they’ve been doing are making fun, posting replies that irrelevant to the original posts, or giving insensitive comments to the OP or those who replied. I can say that Philippine forum in particular is not as good as before. I am very disappointed because it has been going on like this almost everyday already. I myself, is very discouraged to posts my queries anymore because I know someone will make fun out of it too regardless of the topic. I just wish that this will be stopped. I wish that if someone posts something that will be useful to those who are new in this journey , no one will ruin the discussion.

To those who understand me, thank you but to those who will not agree…well, good luck and God bless. Peace again.

2) Plane to land in Chicago

Even though our son Gabby's Appointment Letter says he needs to be there does he? I mean he's only 2 years old and deaf so there is no way they can interview him.

AOS takes you from non-immigrant to resident... plain and simple...

PhiLandShiRFemalePhilippines2009-10-19 15:29:00
Philippinessocial security number
From the SSN web pages:

Restrictive legend change defined. Based on a person's immigration status, a restrictive legend may appear on the face of an SSN card to indicate that work is either not authorized or that work may be performed only with Department of Homeland Security (DHS) authorization. This restrictive legend appears on the card above the individual's name and SSN. Individuals without work authorization in the U.S. receive SSN cards showing the restrictive legend, "Not Valid for Employment;" and SSN cards for those individuals who have temporary work authorization in the U.S. show the restrictive legend, "Valid For Work Only With DHS Authorization." U.S. citizens and individuals who are permanent residents receive SSN cards without a restrictive legend. For the purpose of determining a change in restrictive legend, the individual must have a change in immigration status or citizenship which results in a change to or the removal of a restrictive legend when compared to the prior SSN card data. An SSN card request based upon a change in immigration status or citizenship which does not affect the restrictive legend will count toward the yearly and lifetime limits, as in the case of Permanent Resident Aliens who attain U.S. citizenship.

Unless you have Removed Conditions, you are not Legal Permanent Resident Alien, you are a Conditional Legal Permanent Resident Alien. Unless you have a 10 year Green Card, the disclaimer must be on the card. So just getting 'a' green card, is not cause to remove the disclaimer.

####### Retentive? Of course!! But this is the U.S. Goverment we are dealing with.

N = No
P = Permanent
A = Address

NPA actually stands for the National People's Army.

P = Palamunin
N = Ng
A = Asawa

which means...your husband/wife feeds you.
PNA actually stands for the Philippine Nurses Association.

Alma messaged me that she received her visa yesterday when I was fast asleep in dream land. Just 3 days to be dilivered. We planed her travel for next week on the 29th just to play it safe. Now the ast part of our journey apart is a weeks worth of waiting. Am sure she will get the stamp on her visa from cfo today all all that will be left for her to do is celibrate with her friends and family. For those still wiating..Stay strong write letters to add to your proof for your relationship. Ask questions when not sure of a document and trust that you'll get the correct response here. PhilippinesAfter Receiving Noa2
That may very well be true but no one, myself included, wants to be held up for abuse and ridicule by some of the jerks and losers that seem to lurk in this forum.

Its much easer to exchange information via PM. Not everyone is fluent in English and not everyone can construct a sentence with correct punctuation. "Some" folks here take great pleasure in jumping on those who can't, and it only drives them away.

No question is stupid and no poster should be subjected to ridicule. Don't suggest to report these people because their identity is already well known and nothing gets done about it.

To also start in with the 'get a thicker skin' or 'its the internet, suck it up' comments are pointless and don't help anyone. If you can't say something nice, don't say anything!

Until something is done about it, I will always suggest that others PM me and I will always be happy to provide the best answer I can.

I don't claim to know the correct answer, just that I will respect every question and be courteous and polite. When I don't know the answer, I will direct posters back to the forum for more opinions.
