K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	August 2012 filers!	that is what our rfe said. now we sent photos which are film dated taken in a studio. we also sent pictures and wrote details on the back. maybe because you wrote details they wont ask you, it could be another paper u forgot it or they want additional papers. Yesterday, I received a text stating that my case was updated. When I checked online, it shows "On February 5, 2013, your Alien Registration Number was changed relating to your I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)." Does this mean I should be expecting my NOA2 pretty soon? Probably you will be approved soon.. I saw some posts here getting the same message and after a week or two they got approved. Oh wow, I mean make no mistake I am happy for that couple but its incredibly distressing this waiting time. I read somewhere a couple have been waiting for more than 250 days for their NOA2. There's really it seems no discernible pattern. I know everybody is in the same boat. I hope at least one August filer is approved this month and I selfishly hope its me . I wish everybody all the very best. Cheers. yup A November filer just got approve within a month from CSC and A VSC filer got approved within just 14 days without expediting their petition... Although I have to wait for an rfe hard copy but still I'm thankful to god. Ill pray for all of u csc my congressman helped me a lot. Sooo thankful to her I am glad that you guys finally heard something about your case.. Though it is an RFE but still it is something to be happy about... Someone is working on your papers and knowing Approval is soon... Congrats on the RFE!! Hope you can resolve it quickly. I just got off the phone with our favorite congressman's staff person. She said I should expect a decision early next week after speaking with a CSC supervisor. We are both very lucky to be dealing with someone who cares about getting our cases looked at. You can contact your congressman/senator anytime though... we did after we passed the 5 months waiting period... at first we have to figure out which congressman to contact, the congressman for the district he belongs to... then they have their webpages and on the contact us part they have the option to send an email so we did send an email regarding our case. we didn't get any response though. so after 2 weeks of waiting we tried calling their office last friday and the aide who is in charge sent us a privacy form which my fiance need to fill out and fax back to them... but i suggest it is better to call their office though... Guess a lot of frustrated people are coming here and joining the party. so far there hasn't been any approvals from CSC this week.. I'm even wondering why??? Sure they are not processing within the 5 months... I guess its 7 months now.. I guess they just haven't updated their waiting times in their website.. Your application or petition is currently within the posted processing times. An inquiry may not be created at this time. For information about processing dates, please view the recent processing times for applications and petitions. If you have other questions regarding your application or petition, contact USCIS Customer Service at 1-800-375-5283 or 1-800-767-1833 (TTY). That means they can't put in a service request for you because you are still within the normal processing time... i know in the website it says 5 months and you have to wait for the whole 5 months to pass and then on your 6th month you can call them again or do it again online and see if they will allow you this time... i guess for you that would be on Feb. 10...
