It is never easy to let go of something you've dreamt of and of someone you love most... In this journey both parties should really be patient and be each others strenght. In one point of our journey, i even consider giving up already because of the long wait, thinking it may not really be for me but my fiance was there to always assure me that we will be together no matter how long the wait... that we will end up in each others arms... and assures me of how much he loves me everytime... and yes to tell me too that patience is virtue... lol...    All i can wish for you is hope he changes his mind... maybe he is just overwhelmed of how the process is and how much time it is taking... if not, I wish you could accept things that happened and be positive... I don't understand what you're saying because you are no better than anyone else, so the immigration process applies to you as equally as it does to anyone else. MsHogan, myself and many others on here are just trying to inform you of the reality of the time-consuming process that is immigration. We have no motive to make you feel worse or bad about anything - it is just reality. And, to be honest, I am sorry you feel that you are so much more important. My case is most important to me sure, but not so important that I feel like I should be pushed to the front of the queue and everyone else should wait. It is a process and everyone who applied before me deserves to be processed first. This forum is a community for people to support each other and reward one another for patience. I know you have been looking forward to the day that he will be with you and on your mind it was soon... but something like this happened... For sure he feels awful for causing this trouble but I look up to him for telling the truth! like you said in your earlier post that the doctor kept asking him about it and he just did the right thing... Answered him with all honesty... For sure if he lied the doctor might caught him that he was lying... In what way? Doctors know when people do lie. Guess there are studies that shows how people tend to act or react when they lie. Usually when people lie they can't look at the other person eye to eye and for sure the doctor will notice that... I guess the doctor too would really kept asking him since I guess most men in Jamaica really tried smoking weed so they have that doubt in them already. Just keep the faith and everything will pass... whatever is the outcome of this situation, keep loving each other and may it help to keep your relationship stronger... Would that not even constitute a marriage and could be declared void? In Philippine law, the marriage is null and void because the legal age to marry here is 18.. and u said she was only 16 so if u file for anullment this would be a strong case. But you also said that she came to the US with a different name, my question is was the name she used in coming there in US is the same one she used when she got married to her husband? or when they had their wedding, did she really used her real name? Coz if she used the made up name then she could actually get a CENOMAR using her real name. Send in what you have and if the pictures dont have date stamps them paste them to a page and describe when and where. I went on Walgreens website and made a collage and labeled it Trip to Morocco in 2008 etc... so you can get creative. I don't have joint banking accounts either but I was able to add my husband on my auto insurance as a excluded driver and added him to my credit cards as an approved user and they even sent me a cards in his name. There is no magic number of chats or evidence it is all up to the USCIS person reviewing it to decide if you have enough. Just organize it really well and let the petition tell your story! Skype, Yahoo, MSN, Oovoo etc.... are all considered secondary evidence and you will need something more to submit as proof than chat logs and chat records no matter who you talk through online. Screen shots are good but can also be created easily if you have experience with Photoshop. Documentation of phone records from a reliable source with more than 2 minute calls each day, personal letters with postmarks, airline tickets, passport stamps, pictures of you together that are date stamped, western union money transfers, joint accounts such as bank or credit cards, insurance policies etc... will be considered before chat logs and records. what if our pictures dnt have time stamps on them? all our pics dnt have time stamps on them.. we do have the letters though, airline tickets and boarding passes, passport stamps, western union receipts.. we dnt have joint bank accounts or credit cards since we are not married yet... It's better if you can prove you visit him/her a few times during the relationship. yes i know this thing! we have those passport photocopies and stamps already.. boarding passes.. itineraries... was just asking about the other proof of ongoing relationship so i need those emails.. mails... skype call logs and so on and so forth!!! Overkill doesn't hurt but you only need to make sure you have consistent history of your relationship. A couple a month, perhaps with the call times showing (like a 2-3 hour call) in my humble opinion would be good enough. Why inundate them with trivial stuff like the "No, you hang up!" lines that are just filler anyways. I may be wrong, but I just took a bunch of screenshots of the past 6 months on skype and I have the emails before then to show our relationship is on-going and trivial. Definitely don't send them messages of you guys arguing (if there are any lol). no we didnt really have big arguments with my fiance... we prefer to talk things and understand each other.. we dnt have problem with call times coz we spend long hours everyday talking when he is home and when he is at work we chat through yahoo messenger.. i definitely made my nite like day for him.. i sleep late just chatting with him on ym then sleep for a few hours then wake up again to talk on skype... i have over a 100 screenshots already... and over 3000 ym chat conversations... lol... other way to print ym conversation is thru email.. the new yahoo email have all your conversation save to your email so even if you deleted your chatlogs on you computer and print you chatlog from your email using other computer you still have all your conversation.. and i preferred printing thru emails too coz .. it has all the information on the lower part of the printed chatlogs about when you print it, time and date of the chatlogs too. yes, im using the saved yahoo chat conversations in the email so i guess ill just print from there directly.. thanks... That shows that we have been in constant contact with each other and that our relationship is legit. we have skype screenshots too.. our ym conversations dated back as far as oct 2011... ym conversations and print screen goodluck thank you! guess i have a lot of saving to do and have to choose which conversations i have to print out.. others are xxx rated.. lol... On the back we stuck a label, because we didn't want the ink to smear. Then just labeled who, where, and when. It's probably best to send updated pics of you as a couple if you have them. Then send boarding passes, passport stamp, hotel bills that show you were both in the same country within the past 2 years. Basically, some docs from US say it's $240 but then the Philippines is telling me it's $350. did u go to the Manila US Embassy website? It is there... $350 is the old fee,$240 is the new one... and when u pay in the bank they have this payment slip that you have to print out from the embassy website... they kinda say how much in pesos you would pay in the bank and the validity of the payment slip... the payment is just around 9860 pesos... As for how helpful they are, I can't speak from personal experience. I'm guessing it's highly dependent on the individual elected representative. Tell ur fiance to follow those links so he could find the specific people he needs to reach out too... From what state is your fiance? Each state has 2 Senators and he is under a district with a congressman... they don't get fees... all you have to do is just call their office tell your concern or problem. basically they will let you fill out a privacy form.
