K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Proceduresjust another question i want to know about what to write on the G-325A regarding employment

Ooooo yes and no.

As long as you are 125% over the poverty line you're fine.

If you're NOT over the poverty line then you will need a co-sponsor.

If you don't work, you could have assets that cover the 125%... (say a trust fund, house etc)

My sister & her husband is gonna co-sponser my fiancee as i don't work.. All i needed to know should i fill out on a blank piece of paper for the G-325A to tell them why I'm not employed this is to file for the I-129F?

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Proceduresjust another question i want to know about what to write on the G-325A regarding employment

With me it wasnt an issue as I'm the beneficiary. I lost my job at the end of June and my interview was in August. I had also been unemployed sporadically and at one stage for over 6 months. I was never asked about it. Only the sponsors employment matters really. They might as at the interview but I doubt it.

No stress :D

Thanks for that just want to make sure that you understand, I'm the petitioner who is filing for my UK fiancee.. Is that gonna make a difference?

Hi all,

I just want to know if i should fill out on a blank piece of paper as to why i'm unemployed for the G-325A form? Long story short, I have been looking after my parents for many years, my mum passed away a few years ago & now I look after my father full time as he needs 24hr care. I am looking for employment & getting something sorted with family members to help with further care for my father.

Any advice will be appreciated..

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresGetting married in Florida

Probably referring to this:

To get married in Florida, visiting couples need only go together to the nearest clerk of the circuit court office to obtain a marriage license. Marriage licenses are good for 60 days. The standard fee is $93.50, which can typically be paid with cash or by charge or personal check.

Florida residents must wait three days to get a license. However residents who can provide documentation showing they completed a state-approved marriage preparation course within the year don't have to wait the three days. The four-hour course includes instruction in topics including conflict management, financial and parenting responsibilities. As a bonus, residents who take the course get a reduction of $32.50 off the license fee. And it's not necessary for residents to obtain licenses from their home county. link

The only other thing I can think of that she might be referring to is if the church where you are getting married has it as a requirement.

Well I know for sure I aint getting married in a church.. Done that one before & wouldn't do it again quite happy just to get married at the town hall or something..

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresGetting married in Florida
Want to ask something regarding about getting married in Florida! After talking with my future sister in-law she tells me that before I can get married to my fiance we have to do 6weeks of counselling.. Has anyone else heard of this? Seemingly it's a requirement!! If you are issued the visa & you only get 90days to marry your loved one that's not really giving you much time to do anything.. Hope someone can enlighten me on this subject...
