K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Foreign marriage after obtaining the K1 visa?	Hello all.   Thanks for your help, as always.   I have a question regarding this issue. My fiance and I want to get married in the foregn country for it to be recorded for local purposes here. Take a deep breath, then another one You sent your reply 2 weeks ago; when did they receive it?    Thanks for your response! They received my reply on 4/29.   No I dont think I do. I filed an i-129f in 2008 but the visa was never issued at the embassy. From what I heard you it's OK to do up to 1 previously. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	The RFE Master List	How long took you from the notice that they mailed you the RFE letter until you got the hard copy??? i got the first email on April 22nd (i know its just the update) then other email on April 29th saying the same... they mailed the RFE... and Im still waiting for the hard copy... how long should it takes to FINALLY KNOW WHAT THEY WANT??   I so anxious, nervous, impatient, frustrated, oh God all emotions!! They "touched" us on USCIS, and changed our status to:   Request for Evidence Response Review On April 29, 2013, we received your response to our request for evidence. This case is being processed at our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location.     They say they will respond within 60 days. Are we going to be approved soon or what guys??!!     Do you guys know approximately how long it is going to take for our case to be handled? Could this be because my fiancé didnt fill in properly? Also should I send more photos now or tickets now for more proof just in case because when when filled the petition we where together 2 months?   Did you send it back yet? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	The RFE Master List	As you all are already aware, our case received an RFE on 4-23-13. The letter came in the mail today.   The RFE says there is an omitted item on question 3 in part C:   "If you have provided information about a conviction for a crime listed above and you were being battered or subjected to extreme cruelty by your spouse, parent, or adult child at the time of your conviction, check all of the following that apply to you:   ___ I was acting in self-defense. ___ I violated a protection order issued for my own protection. ___ I committed, was arrested for, was convicted of, or plead guilty to committing a crime that did not result in serious bodily injury, and there was a connection between the crime committed and my having been battered or subjected to extreme cruelty."   Obviously, none of these apply to me, and they only had boxes available to check in.   I did not check any of the boxes. The RFE was that I should have written N/A even though it wasn't an option and there was no space to write it!   Sent it back today with N/A just written after the question. Hopefully it will be resolved soon! Thanks everybody for your help! my question is: After I corrected and sent this back, can they give additional RFEs? Or is there only the possibility for one? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	The RFE Master List	Hello everyone...I've got a question and am hoping that someone else has experienced something similar. On 3/18, I received a notification of an RFE - the ususal...my case is suspended until I reply. I'm waiting on the hard copy to find out exactly what they need. Today, 3/20, my case status was updated again with an RFE notification. I called USCIS and they refused to tell me if it's a duplicate or if it's a separate RFE that will need a response.
