K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	August 2013 K-1 Filers	We are a very normal couple in our 40's.  Vernon had something minor on his criminal background from when he was 18 years old.  The waiver will take up to 9 more months and cost $585 more.  We are eligible because it happened over 15 years ago. No one told us this could be a problem before.  It isn't listed anywhere because he didn't serve "time". AND we called and asked about it... I wish you only the best and strong nerves! Don't let them get you! You habe to be strong and keep in mind always that y'all will be together one day! The secretary from the senator we wrote an E-Mail and a letter too was writing us (my fiancé) an E-Mail!!! She wrote him today this message: I wanted to let you know that I had received an update from the TEXAS SERVICE CENTER. USCIS has received your I-129F petition. - (OMG THANK GOD FOR THAT!!! Was my thought, when I read it, I thought it was lost!) Currently your petition is being reviewed and a decision should be issued within 30 business days. I will check in with you again around March 17th. If you should receive notice of a change in status before then please let me know. Thank you... AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH OMG!!! After all that waiting!!!! And I was crying so much an hour ago and wanted to give up in everything i was so down with everything and my life and 20 mins ago I got this message I'm so unbelievable happy again! USCIS Service Centers	TSC & Waiting time NOA2?!	Hey all, ?? I just wanted to ask around and see who is still waiting for their NOA2 from the TSC?? It seems like in the last few days they have been going faster with approving people for their NOA2??? Some people were only waiting between 20 and 50 days?!?? We got our NOA1 2,5 months ago, didn't heard anything since than and I know there have been people already approved after us!!! I know maybe 2,5 months is still nothing against that, what other people are still waiting for their NOA2??? It just seems like, compared to the other Center's, that TSC is working faster and it is really disappointing to wait already that long and others are getting approved in maybe 25 days?? USCIS Service Centers	WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH TSC?????	You should get no sympathy on this site, for such statements, you have made. Me and my wife now filed June 2012, and was 186 days until e mail for NoA 2. The just HOPE you do not have the "corrupt Filipino" medical at St Luke's.,.,.when doctors are told to send 30-to 50% of medicals through ""Sputum"" delay.,.,.,.,we did.,.,but we endured, and made it.,.,and 10 konths and 4 days later she entered P.O.E. Atlanta, 4-24-2013. Count your lucky blessings you have, to go through something like this! YOU, have NO complaints comings, at this point in time!!! Sit back, and relax, you have many months to go, understand it, it is REAL!!! That's ok! USCIS Service Centers	WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH TSC?????	actually you are the one overreacting and attacking every single person who makes suggestions to you about how to the pass time. You clearly have issues with anyone who happens voice an opinion. If you only wanted replies from people who want to kiss your azz or buy into your woe is me attitude, you should have said so. No one here is forcing you to stay at home all day with noting to do, that is your choice. Yeah that is true, and also I agree that people do have it worse. But I'm sure as you all know here it is hard waiting for a loved one. Also some people handle things differently than others. I wasn't writing here for "azz" kissing or sympathy, but to see if others are in the same situation and same "frustrated" state as me. It seems this thread has turned from its original intent to something different. I didn't mean to sound so aggressive! It's just annoying to wait! I'm sure it is for all of you waiting to be with the love of your life. So I would like to move forward and not argue about whose situation is worse or about me doing nothing with my time. Again sorry for sounding like I was jumping down "everyone's" throat. We are all in this together... I was just venting too much about it!! USCIS Service Centers	WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH TSC?????	I don't think that 3 months is ridiculous. It takes time to process files. I would have been happy with the total of 8-9 months of total processing time that they were averaging when I filed my petition. That being said, I do think it's silly that petitions that were filed after you are already getting their NOA2 if they're in the same service center. Have you checked on the USCIS website to see when your file was last touched? Have you had your fiance call to find out what's going on with your case?   Again, I've been waiting for 8 months.I still don't have an NOA2 yet. If 3 months is ridiculous, then 8 months must be obscene to you. Perhaps you are only considering your own pain, and not that other people have been waiting much longer. Imagine that you've already been married for years, and can't see your spouse for that long. It really sucks. I'm not saying that what you're going through isn't difficult, it most certainly is. But you will probably be approved and here with your fiance long before my husband is here. And I have a hard time commiserating with you when you are being nasty to people who are basically agreeing with you. I understand that you wait 8 months and this isn't easy for you either, I bet it is much harder for you as it is for me. I'm not married yet and I can only imagine how it..... But where I don't agree with you is the point that she was nice to me! I think the right words are sounding different and she could have said everything more in a nice way! She sounded like she is making fun of me and is telling me what to do! I didn't asked her for telling me what to do! I just asked what she did to passing by time! Yeah I'ma agree with some of the other posters.  Three months is NOTHING to get worked up over.  The national goal is 5 months, the average when I applied was 6 months, and now it's up to 13 months.  I wish you had participated in the mass email/faxes that we did yesterday.  Lots of people from February are still waiting.  Almost all of March (including me) is still waiting.  And so on.   Like you said, it's annoying when people who filed after you get approved before you.  Well that means you have MONTHS of people who need to get approved before you.  Cool your engines. USCIS Service Centers	WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH TSC?????	the bottom line is....there is NO method to the madness. One service center is not better, or faster than another. believe it or not, there are hundreds of thousands of others not on Visa Journey waiting as you are. Also, A LOT of people are "lucky" as you say to get quick approvals - this means NOTHING. When I was filing, there were plenty of people who got 30, 60, 90 day approvals who were still waiting for an interview AFTER we had had and finished the first part of our K-1 Journey. it's hard but you have to just go with it, or dont. this Immigration process is not for everyone. Good Luck.   P.S I waited for about 7 months, NO RFE, NO problems at interview. About 10.5-11 month from start to POE. Working on AOS now. What were you doing that YOUR time was passing by faster?! I'm just asking because I really have a hard time at my patents house I can just be happy to have a roof over my head - that's all!! I don't have a job and no car and life here in a very small village with maybe 100 people. To the next town it is 20 mins by car. I know you can say to this too some people have it much harder but if you keep going like this you can compare almost everything to something!!! My parents aren't even coming to my wedding, not my parents not any of my brothers and sisters! I don't want to get any sorry for this here!!!! I understand how u feel I file in June and when I look ic august and September filer getting noa2 before me..I was mad as hell they say they work in the order it was receive but that's bullshit...I got my noa2 in November the 8 ....now am waiting for tsc to send my case to the nvc I wonder how long that's gonna take kmft...my fiance is 4months pregnant by the time we get through she probably too big to fly ...am getting frustrated YES correct! That's what I thought the whole time too if there is an order!!! I don't care about people getting approved after me! But when I see that the main of people getting approved after us august fillers sure I'm getting mad! It can't be that hard also in "difficult" cases to write them or call them or to get somehow the information or evidance that they need!!! I feel like the 5th wheel right now because already novembe fillers are getting approved!! There are I think 36 people left from august still and maybe almost the same for september fillers hello?!? There is no order for sure I agre everyone here who said this! It's bullshit and once again I can see L.I.F.E. = Life isn't fuc**** easy!!! USCIS Service Centers	WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH TSC?????	I understand you, when I was at that stage, people who filed weeks after me got their NOA2's before me. Then I had to wait weeks to get my case number because CSC took their sweet time, unlike other service centers that got theirs in 2 weeks. There is really no order on how petitions are handled or there's no telling if you will end up in the front or the end of the line in a blink. I also know how really hard it is when you don't have a job and all you can do is wait. Just find something to keep you distracted or you will really go insane. Best of luck to you. Yes thank you for your meaning here, it helps me a little that people understand how I feel at this point and that I'm not only always read that people get approved in just a few days and that they can imagine how it is to wait so long. I feel like I did something wrong but I know I didn't,... It is hard to explain this emotions in a text when you're inside totally disturbed because days are not really passing by because of no job and the weateher is also everyday grey here now and cold in germany so you can't stay outside really long anymore..... I had to wait 8 long months to get my noa2 and there are a lot people who got the noa2 in a month or less. now i have two week waiting for my case number and i dont know if the nvc have received my case i think this wait will be long too. I really wish you with my heart the best and that you don't have to wait son long anymore for it! This waiting "game" is killing you inside and I think I'm right when I talk for you too that everyone who had this experience of waiting so long comes to a point where he or she is really depressed and crying a lot. I was a Vermont filer, yes, and I recognize that getting the NoA2 in a bit over 3 months was lucky.  Vermont has typically been slow and well past the 6 months processing times.  We were realistic about the process though and realized it could take as long as 6 months, since it can.     It's going to be the same for every step of the journey.  There is no particular rhyme or reason to what they do.  I saw people get interview dates from the embassy who submitted all their paperwork after us.  It's just how it goes.   You're getting way too worked up about this, it won't do you any good. I bet u have or had a job while u were waiting right?! And a car and didn't had to life and stay at your parents house while you wait?! Well makes things a lot easier than,,......... Reality check: 3 months for NoA 2 is fast, and lucky.  Expected time is 5-6 months last I looked.     Some cases are different as well, maybe there's an RFE sent out, maybe it came to TSC in a different load than others, (likely, as TSC doesn't usually process I-129Fs, but has taken on backlogs in recent months to get that cleared.   It's plenty fair, and if you're getting this worked up over 3 months, I have bad news for you for the rest of your journey. Sorry, but you are a filler from Vermont right!? You were getting approved in 103 days from your NOA1 today we have reached 100 days of waiting for our case! I'm impressed about you, but please don't tell me it is fair than! You can tell me what you want but I don't see why people should get approved in 12 days, have you seen the graph from TSC on igors list?! Compare it to VSC and CSC the bars are almost the same high and they look like they work first on all august fillers before they go to september, october OR NOVEMBER fillers! Sorry! (From sending date in november 2013 until approved in november 2013 too!!!) SORRY YEAH, BUT we are august fillers and I want to talk for all august fillers here that are still waiting for their NOA2, WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY DOING?! If you look on igor's list, there have been on Novmeber 15th 15 cases been approved! AND ONE YEAH JUST UNBELIEVABLE ONE was getting approved of them from AUGUST 2013!!!! THIS IS NOT FAIR!!!! USCIS Service Centers	Service Request at TSC what to expect?	We filed several service requests and were told every single time to wait longer (30 days every time) and in the end we were told to wait for the priority date to pass... so you can definitely file a service request but don't get your hopes up. My hubby even went to our local USCIS office every other week but it didn't help much... You just have to be patient! The thing is we were getting the receipt date of august 12th, 2013! And on january 23th we called them and they told us that they actually work on AUGUST 16th, 2013 petitions!!! So they passed our date!! And by the way, it is weird on igor's list to see all these people getting approved from november and december 2013 and on the phone they tell you that they actually work on august 16,2013 petitions.......???? My question is to people who already asked for one and how long they waited for response? What was the response (A NOA2? A letter that said please wait another 30 days?......) They told us to wait 15 days or less until we hear of them again... But I was reading that other couples wait from 30-40 days or even 45 days for a response of a service request..... Most likely an attorney wouldn't even take a case that has already been filed anyway. To the OP: The thing to do is to call your state senator and speak to their immigration liason,have them inquire on your behalf. When I was having trouble at the NVC that is what I did, and I had an answer and the solution to our problem the same day they inquired. Don't screw around with an attorney, it will be flushing money down the drain. Good luck and keep us updated. Oh well that's no problem! Just because ya'll were a lucky one just don't mean that attorney's aren't good for everybody! I can't say yet that it was "flushing" money but well that's ok! So we just got done talking to a supervisor, unfortunately it was a different one than last time    And we pretty much got the response I thought we would get We were told to wait till the 11th of December, and if we don't hear anything by then call back once again.   This is just so ridiculous at this point!!!! Every time we are told to wait another 10 days, another 30 days, the days pass and once again nothing has happened!   I am really considering to get a lawyer/attorney, I am just unsure what else they could do then what we are already doing, calling calling calling and getting the sam BS answers every time... WOW! Yes I totally agree!! It's getting ridiculous! I would like to know why?! What's there problem to just send all the information that they have in their system and send it once again to the NVC what's the problem on this?!? How can it get lost all the time?!?!
