I didn't realize that you were not the USC. You're right that he is the one to be contacting and banging on doors. It's really not my business, but have you considered doing a background check on him just to see whether there is something in his history that is causing the snag? Forgive my being so frank, but I am just trying to help.  He is my age we are both 24! He has really NOTHING bad! Only a speeding ticket only ONE! And I know he has nothing else, he is a normal born USC with no criminal backgrounds! He went and is still going to church when he is visiting his family on sundays! I know he has nothing bad in his records and me neither! I don't think that this speeding ticket is the reason........ I was getting refused entry on june 30th, 2013! And they cancelled my ESTA and told me I could only come back with a Visa! Do you think that could be the reason why it takes them so long? I had a four hours interview after my 10 hours flight to the POE :-( I was 2,5 months (84days) with my at that time still boyfriend.... I stayed two weeks in germany at my parents house and wanted to go back to him for another two months! But I never made it :'( it was a horrible experience..... We NEVER had at any time the intention of getting married while I'm there, it was for us always for SURE, that IF, we get married, we make everything on a legal way! So the K1 Process! We just wanted to be together another two months and see how we get along together :-(! It was really so hard for me to sit 22 hours in a room and wait for my flight back to germany.....and i didn't saw one time my boyfriend.... He came up to the airport by car to pick me up and drove 6 hours! And we didn't saw each other one time!!!! They didn't let him see me only for a sec! So do you think this refusal could be the reason for it? A few other members told me already that a refusal isn't the reason for a denial, because that are two different things?? K1: TODAY 6 MONTHS WAITING FOR NOA2	I'm sure you get sick and tired of reading the posts from people who whine because they've been waiting a month or two. You're in a tough place and there is very little you can do that you haven't already done. It's most likely that your petition encountered some kind of IBIS hit, the details of which can never be known. It could be a name mis-match, or some kind of hit that causes them to put your petition into a hold pile. They can actually withhold adjudication when there is no cause for open denial and even a congressman or Senator cannot find the reason. While they must reply within that 30-day time-frame you've already seen there really isn't any news you can learn.    If you haven't done so already, get an empty notebook and record all your communications to everyone. Include time of day, email, telephone, what you say, what they say and so on. Stay on it. Call every day. If it's Monday morning and they say to call back Friday, call them again Monday afternoon.  Yes, thank you very much for your answer! I'm really trying everything and I hope that my fiance is going to bother them, because he is the USC, so it's better when he is calling...... K1: TODAY 6 MONTHS WAITING FOR NOA2	Hi Trisha,   I completely understand your pain, and I am also in the similar position. I'm waiting for my wife's CR-1 visa since last June, its been 8 months and I already contacted my senators, 3 of them so far. To some it all up in short, USCIS absolutely does not care about what they are doing to the families, and the senators can help you make an inquiry and update you on the status but that is all. Here is what I find really upsetting, there are ways to expedite this but only if its a life threatening situation, you are in the military OR YOU WORK FOR USCIS ( what baloney!!)   Now to answer your questions, yes you can request to get other senators involved, and each one will ask you to sign the Privacy release form, and they all will come with the same explanation as the last one, maybe a little more detailed, because that's all the USCIS tells them. But unfortunately they cannot help you expedite it   I have never felt this helpless in my life, and now USCIS is holding my future.   Hang in there, your day will come soon.   God help us all. Thank you so. Much for your helpful answer! You know exactly how it is and how disappointing this process is! In my eyes it isn't fair at all, but oh well,.... This said so many people already before me and still people that filled after us are getting approved! Which is ok in my eyes as long as it wouldn't take them so long for us to get approved as it does right now..... I mean 6 months is really a hard thing to take and when I think about it, we almost could have get married and it would probably come in the end the same waiting time...... K1: TODAY 6 MONTHS WAITING FOR NOA2	Hello VJ members, today we have reached the 6 months waiting time for our NOA2 in our K1 process!!! We are really disappointed and heartbroken that it takes them so long for us to get approved........ We were august fillers We are already in contact with our Senator since the end of november 2013 and had the first update from his office on january 27th, 2014 that said we should hear something from USCIS in the next 30 business days from january 27th, 2014 on! We think it takes everything a little to long though and hope every day for good news... His office told us we should hear something within the next 30 business days but they also told us they will get another update from USCIS on March 17th, 2014, how is this making sense when we should hear something within the next 30 business days from uscis??? Why then another update in the middle of march??? Sounds to me like there is not coming any decision in the next 20 days and just another update on march 17th, 2014??? Maybe this time with 60 business days of waiting again?!?! My question is when we have already contacted his senator could we still involve another one from a different state? IS THAT POSSIBLE? My 2nd question is which senator's were for other couples here in the same situation very helpful??? Your help is so much appreciated and I want to thank everyone who is already praying for us. I don't know if it's my inability to find it or my sinus infection clouding my abilities, so I apologize if there was a forum already dealing with this...but I just wanted to know if anyone else is a little bit past the date that they expected a decision for their I-129Fs from TSC? I received my NOA1 on December 19, and on January 6 they updated to: 'On January 6, 2014, your Alien Registration Number was changed relating to your I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. Please wait until the end of normal processing time before calling customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for live assistance.'   Visa Journey had anticipated a decision no later than February 16, and here we are on March 2 and it hasn't been updated yet to anything, much less a decision. I realize that Visa Journey is just using averages of what members are reporting, but I guess I thought they would have updated or touched the file since then and they haven't. Is this strange? Should I be concerned? Since filing I've already been back to visit for 10 days and want to plan our next trip for the summer but I really don't want to plan anything without any indication from USCIS as to what their timeframe is or what they're doing I don't know... the January 6 update was so quick, I kind of expected them to keep working after that I guess. I know immigration is a long drawn out process, but this petition process I was expecting to be relatively quick. Just checking in! if anything it will calm my nerves   Well, I totally understand what y'all are going through! But you are still in the beginning,.... Maybe not and y'all get approved this week?? There is no order how they approve the petitions.... We saw A LOT of people getting approved that have filled after us! It was really sad to see people getting approved from november, december, january, while we were fillers from August 2013!! We waited 6 months and 3 days... For our NOA2, so be patient, it will come! When filling out DS 160, what case number did you put it where it asks for Application Receipt/Petition Number? The following is provided as help:   Help: Application Receipt/Petition Number Your application receipt/petition number was given to you by the Department of Homeland Securitys United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) after you filed your petition application at a USCIS Service Center. The application receipt/petition number is 13 characters long and the first three characters are letters.     Oh, and can you tell me how to get the registration confirmation page that is asked for here?   "11. Document Delivery Address (for the return envelope): Once you have been scheduled for an interview appointment, you must provide an address where you want your visa package to be delivered after issuance. Our office uses the online services of our Visa Service Provider. Please visit ustraveldocs.com to register. In the profile (see Step 10), enter the mailing address. You should specify your document delivery address prior to your interview. You will need your Immigrant Case Number to enter your document delivery address. Please include a copy of your registration confirmation page with the other documents that you send to the Consulate before your interview."     So you included only tax return 2012 and W-2's along with the original signed I 134?   Can you please post here when you  receive packet4 (or RFE)?   Good luck with everything ) I was putting in the case number from USCIS so the SRC number. I was paying the Application Fee (MRV FEE) online and you have to give them also your address where you live.... When you print out the confirmation (Transaktionsbestätigung) it is written besides a barcode also your adress where you live, so that's what I used as address where they can deliever my passport then. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	August 2013 K-1 Filers	Ach, diese Embassy Info hab ich mir hier noch gar nicht angeguckt, vielen Dank!!!   Jaaa, wir haben unsere NOA2 (also das Online-Update, noch keine hardcopy) am 21.02. bekommen! Genau eine Woche nach euch! ))   Ich habe aber noch gar keine Dokumente beantragt oder sonstiges. Werde heute oder morgen das Führungszeugnis beantragen und auch schon mal internationale Geburtsurkunden holen, weil man die nachher sowieso bei der Hochzeit braucht!   Habe meinem Verlobten und seinem Stiefvater die I-134 forms gestern per Email geschickt, also die werden auch jetzt erst anfangen den ganzen Kram zu bearbeiten. Naja ich hoffe, dass das nicht allzu lange dauert...   Ich werde meinen Termin fürs Medical so Mitte März machen, da ich am Sonntag für eine Woche nach Polen fliege um meine Familie zu besuchen bevor es dann in die Staaten geht und ich nicht weiß wann ich das nächste Mal wieder in Europa sein werde   Aaaah, hätte ich mich mal um den ganzen Kram vorher gekümmert.. Am meisten Sorgen mache ich mir um diese I-134. Da braucht man ja diese Letter von der Bank und vom Arbeitgeber und Tax Returns, W-2's, paystubs... :/  oh man! Ach, und das alles lässt du auf deutsch, oder? Wir dürfen ja in Frankfurt sowohl deutsche als auch englische Dokumente schicken.. ... Bist du dir denn sicher, dass dieses polizeiliche Führungszeugnis dann ausreicht? Ich hatte irgendwo mal gelesen, dass man das dabei diesem BfJ beantragen muss. Das ist alles so verwirred und irgendwie habe ich total Panik vor dem ganzen Kram   Bin froh, dass es hier jemanden aus Deutschland gibt   Was schickt ihr denn also supporting evidence für das I-134? LG Genau ich schicke das Original und eine nicht beglaubigte Kopie korrekt! Wie und was du alles hinschicken musst nachdem du das Schreiben (Paket3) von Frankfurt erhalten hast kannst du auch hier nachlesen unter Embassy Info (ganz oben, auf dieser Website) da hab ich nämlich auch geschaut und die wollen ja am liebsten sogar eine Reihenfolge, wie du was einschickst.... Und zu dem polizeilichen Führungszeugnis: Eine Bekannte von mir (die jetzt seit September 2013 in den USA ist, auch durch ein K1 Visum) hat es auch beim Rathaus beantragt und außerdem bezieht dein Rathaus das aus Köln/ Bonn, da dort irgendwie der Hauptsitz ist für diese Zeugnisse?! Bei meinem jedenfalls steht oben drauf: "Bundesamt für Justiz" und das ist ein sehr originelles (grünes) Stück DIN A4 Schreiben was jetzt nicht einfach nur wie ein einfacher "Wisch" aussieht Von dem Zeugnis musst du dann auch eine Kopie machen und mitschicken nach Frankfurt... Aber ich würd dir echt hier diese embassy info empfehlen, da dort unter Germany auch steht wie du die Sachen sortiert in den Briefumschlag steckst, da die am liebsten eine sortierte Reihenfolge haben da beim Konsulat.... Ja das I-134 mit original Unterschrift vom USC. Mein Schatz fährt heute zur Post und schickt es heute ab.... Hattest du schon dein Medical? Habt ihr euer NOA2 schon bekommen?? Or are you going to get an (international) birth certificate and copy from the Standesamt and send that? Furthermore, where can I obtain a police certificate? Is it right that I have to request it here: https://www.bundesju...493229.1_cid377   Or can I simply go to a police station around and obtain one there?   It would be great if you could help! Thanks a lot!!!   Also ich hab die Geburtsurkunde aus'm Stammbuch genommen, obwohl meine Mutti das nicht so toll findet, aber ich will lieber auf der sicheren Seite sein, als hinterher ein RFE zu bekommen, weil ich "nur" die internationale Geburtsurkunde geschickt habe..... Die ich zwar auch habe aber ich will einfach auf der sicheren Seite sein..... Ist ja nun auch nur der Postweg von Norddeutschland nach Frankfurt das sollte man der Deutschen Post jawohl mal zutrauen können, dass da nix schief geht. Und polizeiliches Führungszeugnis hab ich beim Rathaus angefragt,... Kostet 13 oder 14 und du wirst gefragt ob es für private oder nicht private Zwecke ist! Du solltest es auf jedenfall mit privaten Zwecken beantworten, da du es zu dir nach Hause schicken lassen musst und nicht direkt zum Konsulat in Frankfurt! Achja und die Gültigkeit ist 6 Monate. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	August 2013 K-1 Filers	Just wanted to let everybody know, that TODAY I had my medical in Frankfurt/ Germany! The Lady that was checking me was so nice! Everything is fine and the documents are getting send to the embassy in Germany now (also in Frankfurt) I am truely so happy!! X-ray, vaccinations, everything is good :-) And we were getting last Friday our NOA2 hardcopy in mail and the USCIS was changing our status online, also on Friday, that it is getting shipped to NVC now!! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	August 2013 K-1 Filers	Hi my fellow August filers, just got Case number from NVC, what do I do now?  Wait or can I track the case from NVC to Embassy through DHL or CEAC?  I'm confused a little...Please help!!! Go here: https://ceac.state.gov/ceac/ - click on Check My Visa Application Status under Immigrant Visa. Then put in the case number,..... not the SRC number, click Submit, and a window pops up with the status of your case. Right now, it should read "In Transit". Hope this helps. Just trying to tie up all my commitments and other loose ends before flying out to the USA in March 2014. Hope we all get approval but I would like to use your congressman idea. Please help. You need to find out the senator for your state! So it would have to be the senator of NY then??? Go on his or her website and write him about your process and what you have been going through,.... Also write them that your petition is actually in local office somewhere in NY! The secretary is probably coming back to you then of the senator! And they will tell you that they need a letter that you are willing to let the senator getting information for your case from your service center (local office NY)! In this letter you will have to write you are filling for I-129f the NOA1 date and your Receipt Number! Your service center where it was first and to where it was getting transferred and your full name and your full name of your benificiary! And that you are willing mr or mrs ...(name of senator)...., to get information for your case! Don't forget the actually date you write the letter and a signature from you! I saw that you thanked Trisha on the instructions, but I can't seem to find in this thread where she mentioned how or what I'm supposed to write to my senator.    I'm an October filer, so it's only been 4 months for me. It's still very frustrating because it does seem that you're either approved early or 6+ months down the line I want to do anything possible that I can to make things go faster. I can't file a request yet since we don't pass the processing time until March 15th, but I would love to know if there is something else I can possibly do. Calls to their customer service never get me anywhere past "you're not past approximated processing time, sorry". I've been checking up on y'all August folks waiting on NOA2 for a while, very happy to see you get yours. I really hope Trisha's comes in soon.    I just wrote a privat message with devy & lynette a few weeks ago.... But i can't write with anyone a privat message here anymore and I have NO IDEA why it changed! I didn't do anything bad or either I was changing something in my settings.....weird!! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	August 2013 K-1 Filers	OMG, Hi everyone, while 2 days shy of 6 months today, we have finally been approved.  I can't believe it, it hasn't sunk in, wrote my senator just a week and 1/2 ago, let me tell you this lady don't play, she inquired on January 31 and we got our approval today, Shout out to Senator Mikulski out of State of MD.  I'm soooooooo freakin happy right now!!!  The wait is over:   Post Decision Activity On February 7, 2014, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283     Now VJ'ers, please please tell me what do I do next?  If you have step by step directions please lead me to them...I would sooo appreciate.  What a happy friday!!!!    Devy & Lynette! Tomorrow we will wait 6 months for NOA2 can you imagine that?????? In the end of february we will write the secretary of the senator again and tell her we didn't got any updates the last 30 days so she is getting back in touch with us.... We were thinking of writing the head office of uscis too and maybe involving a congressman too..... But I have no idea if it's helpful or not since we already asked the senator for help and he is above the congressman????
