It is again starting to feel beyond normal time frames.

In my 2nd packet I asked to be put back in queue from the date the first packet was delivered.
Anyone ever hear of VSC doing this?

I have been working on a program to pull all Receipts and case status from the USCIS data base, and then collect time lines on the data. Similar to VJ but with a much greater volume of data.

Right now USCIS sight limits to about 200 queries a day per IP number, I can create some software to run on many computers to gather the data and then send to a central data base.

Would people be willing to run this program on there computers for me?

From what you state, you lack proof of a relationship , not lack of proof of having met. These are different items, while photos can show you have met, photos can not normally show, unless they are from drastically different times over a lengthy perode, proof of a relationship.

For this things like phone bills , emails show better then pictures a relationship. Or visa stamps from a number of trips. Copies of yahoo conversation. Any thing that shows you have a ongoing communication and a relationship.

I had the exact same problem with Vermont. I doubt it is the USPS, mine had a tracking number, and was confirmed delivered. But the check was never cashed. So we sent in a 2nd copy 1 month after the 1st.

Too late now but I would have suggested sending a brief letter of explanation with the petition. At this point, I'd put that brief (Did I mention brief?) explanation (maybe a paragragh) in her updated letter of intent for the interview and a similar recap explaining you're aware of the situation in yours. Then visit as often as you can, including being in Bangkok at interview time. If you can attend, fine, if not let her carry your passport into the interview to demonstrate you're there suppporting her. You'll need plenty of evidence your relationship is bona fide.




And exactly how is he supposed to get his passport to her, and why in all that's holy would anyone ever surrender their passport to someone else? blink.gif


Please note, to effectively communicate in English one must be able to be unambiguous write. "If you can attend, fine, if not" does the attend refer to Attending the embassy at interview time, or does it mean to be in the interview so no need to see the passport. You took it to mean be with her in the embassy and could not go into the interview, others did not.

Funny I was wondering about this 'touched' thing too. I am signed up with the USCIS site. However the only thing it gives me for my case status is that it is in 'Initial Review'. There are 4 categories given when i check my case status: 1. Acceptance 2. Initial Review 3. Decision 4. Post Decision Activity. I have been on #2 ever since my file was received Feb 15, 2011, and I am signed up for case updates. There are no dates given to see if a file has been touched. Am i not seeing something right or has the site changed?

Hello everyone, we were a Feb. filer too! My fiance just finished her medical appointment today and we're just waiting on her long form birth certificate to come in the mail and it's interview scheduling time for us. I never bothered registering on this site during this whole process, but I wanted to take the time today to do it and say thanks, this site turned what was a fairly intimidating sounding process into a piece of cake and I'm very appreciative for this site and its community! Good luck to everyone still in the process!



Congrats to your NOA2. We cannot schedule my fiancee's medical. There seems to be a delay in getting her passport and I believe she has to have her passport to schedule the medical. Either way she has to have passport for her interview too. We are now in a holding stage until we receive her passport. And yes this site has been great on understanding the whole process. :thumbs:

Haha congrats congrats! It was great that you were able to meet her in SF and fly her home from there. I wasn't able to meet mine in LA but was able to pick her up at DFW. I think mine is loving the cooler weather here in dallas because she is not having to shower 2-3 times a day back in the phils. It is definitely not cold like ohio though!

Yes! My fiance was approved for his visa yesterday, January 20! Now we are just wondering where will his passport, visa and paperwork be delivered... Can anyone tell me will it be sent to his home or picked up at a 2Go location... When he scheduled his interview they asked where it will be delivered and we requested 2go but yesterday he said after the interview he was told that it will be delivered to his home... Any help will be greatly appreciated!

I was told to contact the 2go branch for the tracking # since our manila case # doesn't work. Check my signature for the time frame it took for us to receive the visa below.

I thought what I said was quite clear. If you read the "ifs" and you are an employee claiming employee business expenses, then you have interpreted what I said correctly. If you are in business for yourself and file a schedule C, then you have misinterpreted what I wrote. Are you an "employee" or self employed?

Gross income on your tax return will be found on line 22. If you are an employee claiming employee business expenses, that won't impact line 22. If self employed all your business expenses are subtracted above line 22. Employees state their current income as the gross pay.




So what you are saying is that they won't be looking at the net income after write offs but the gross yearly income? 'Sigh of relief ' I think.... Thank you.

No. It's a first come, first serve basis. Pre-registering online will help her skip or expedite the 1st steps.

In my opinion, a BPI Branch if you have one near you or her. You have to pay Php 15,050.00 (peso equivalent).

I scheduled mine a week ahead of the interview. Even so, the results from the medical will be valid for 6 months from its release (which is why the visa when issued is valid for 6 months or depending on when you had your medical).

An early start is always advisable for me. A Monday and if she could the earliest appointment time (6AM). Just so they have working/business days after your interview. I had mine on a Thursday and the long weekend was killing me (Labor Day weekend). There are 3 options: 6:15am, 6:30am and 7am. Either of these, you would still be there earlier than your appointment, so why wait and prolong the agony? I had mine at 6:30am and was done at 11:30am.

The long wait is because consular interviews start at 8:30am. The 3 slots above will help you get in earlier than the other applicants. I was there 5:30am and there are a lot of people in line already. They sort you out per appointment time. :)

Even so, it would boil down to how prepared you are for your interview. Good luck! :thumbs:

She has to pay it at SLEC in Philippine currency on the day she will have her medical.


2. Do I need to set a date for the medical after registering or can she show up anytime with the printed registration?
Nope. She can show up anytime. I went to SLEC 2pm and finished it around 8pm. She can start in the morning if she wants but the line
starts at 430 am.
Just bring her printed registration form and show it to the guard. Let the guard know it is an online-registration.

BTW I finished my medical in 2 days time. First day was the medical process (2pm - 8pm). Second day was vaccination and result
(1pm-630pm)

You will be fine. My fiancee missed her delivery on a friday but they came back on saturday to deliver the visa. Since yours was on saturday, they most likely will deliver on monday. The CFO sticker can be knocked out the same day. :thumbs:
