Waiting for the results after immunization takes 2 hours or more.

Result? I never heard of that?

Immunization is not a test.. It is something you need if your missing some shots on your record..

Maybe you mean clearance?

Yeah I think that is what they mean, a simple "okay".. wacko.gif

Really.. What happened?

What abt the next day's testing, how long did that 2nd day take? I always thought you went back for more testing and not just to receive your results.. What abt the hotel you stayed that night? How much money did it cost you per night? Thank you for your replies...

Just a couple quick questions for those who have gone through the two days medical in Manila. Basically, how long did each days of testing take? First and second day..? Also are you allow to bring electronic into SLEC like digicams and cellphone and can you bring bulky items like a bagpacks with your cloths in the even that you checked out of your hotel room?

Hi everyone..

we had our k-1 interview on Jan. 4th, approved with no problems. they didn't even check any chat logs or emails.(in fact I had forgotten to print out some of the emails from her and realized it too late but it didn't matter..)They seem to be more interested in if you meet the financial requirement and proof of engagement..like pics, ring receipt and our own scrapbook about our whole story on us and how we became to be.I also had to fret about not making it to the interview because of weather concerns and my flight was canceled and I was carrying a good portion of the docs and paperwork for the interview.but fortunately they found a different flight for me which made it possible for me to make it there the day before the interview. but all in all..we made it!!
we just arrived here last nite and shes in the kitchen making dinner as I type this.
Thank you Lord!! smile.gif

HI GUYS!

Please someone advise me on my next move. I just found out that my AOS Fee Bill was generated on Monday but I left the country on Tuesday. I had a feeling that this was going to happen so I purchased a Money order before hand and brought it with me to the Philippines. I won't be coming back home until few weeks from now but I still need to send this AOS fee NOW since I already have a Money order. My question is, what return address do I use now on the envelop? My USA address at home or the address here in the Philippines? I have a feeling it won't make too much of a difference but I just want to now what others think. Your reply will be greatly appreciated. Thank you ALL!

When I received my ITR it came with a cover sheet for every years transcript requested. When I send my transcript to the NVC with my DS-230 do I have to include this cover sheets? Another things did you use transcripts as per option (2) or option (1)?

QUOTE (RandyandRina @ Oct 28 2007, 07:22 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
The ITR is much better option since you do not have to include the W2 with it. I have submitted my ITR with no problem. You have two options in submitting your I-864:

(1) Copy of your Federal income tax returns with W2, 1099, etc
(2) ITR

Good luck :-)

I want to thank everyone for there help. This is a terrific forum!!!

I have a question about Item 1 in part 1. It asks you to list out the previous visits to the US. My wife has visited me twice and has been to other places (in the past) in the USA. She has been in the US about 4 times in the past but there are only 3 lines to list them.

Do I just drop the oldest visit or do I add a separate page (list)?

Thanks!

For questuion 11, I wrote "Same as item 10" for both the address and the phone number. That, i think, is better. I wrote N/A, where it says about the death of teh parent. Good luck!

In question #11 on the DS-230 its asking for a address for the Permanent Resident card to be mailed. My question is that we put N/A for this question since its the same address for question #10. Does this sound right to everyone here to put N/A? Also in question #16 its says if spouse parent is dead to write the date of death. Can we also put N/A here or leave it blank or does it matter what we put? Please help..!!

How is that guys?

Off-topic, it is very intersting how your case is almost identical to mine, I was reading your timeline, and it is very close to mine - I mailed out my I-130 on first week of May '07, and the NOA1 Receipt date was 5-11-07. And up-to-date, I mailed out my IV Fee Bill on 11-08-07 (received by NVC on 11-10-08 in mail)....just thought I'd mention how close our cases are, within 1 week of each other, and almost paralled in terms of all of the other steps in the process, since we mailed in our I-130 less than a week apart...quite interesting...

When preparing the DS-230 coversheet using shortcut method, how much difference does it really make if you put a date on there that may be off by a day or two from the date of the coversheet NVC sends out to you?? Does anybody here have experience with this, if you put an inaccurate date on there, does NVC really care about that, and if they notice it is different, what do they actually do about it? I am trying to figure this out, as I believe they have generated it yesterday, but since automated system does not say, I am not absolutely sure....

Please advise.

Thanks!

Am not really sure if it will do much hard but from experience I would say "No" since I maded that mistack when I sent my AOS Fee Bill using the (JSC 2.0) and they still accept it into their system..

QUOTE (Roserick @ Dec 4 2007, 10:12 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Ok.. Is NVC really strict on reviewing DS230?

This is our situation..

We have some typo errors on our marriage contract, like on my Nationality it was written Filipino. But I am an American Citizen.

See I didn't worry about this when I filed our I-130 with USCIS because I spoke to an Immigration officer and told me that I shouldn't worry about it cause I have a copy of my passport and my Certifacate of Naturalization to back it up.

But now this is NVC.. Same marriage contract.. I cannot back this up because its my wife's form. Am I right? DS230 is for my wife and the supporting documents are for her verifications.

So Is NVC going to make a big deal out of this?

By the way.. We are in the process of getting it fixed.. As of matter of fact we already have our court order for the approval to get it fixed.

Please HELP me in this situation on what should I do.. Many Thanks...

Am sorry to hear about this new/old problem buddy. Hope things will work fine with the NVC for you guys. Gud Luck Always!
