Hello All,

Please I need help on something very basic but very confusing to me right now. To all or anyone that has already applied. Am filling out my 1-130 application right now but am confuse of what name to right for my wife as her last name here. We got married few days ago in the Philippines and on our marriage license it still reads her maiden last name. So what name do I write as her last name on this I-130 petition and on her G-325a, my last name or her maiden name? Please if anyone can help me with this small issue I would really appreciate it.

I was looking back at old post and read few posts from people application being moved from VCS to CSC but no one from the TSC posted anything thing. Ack... that's not what I did, someone else told me to calculate what this year's expected income would be and to use that on line 23. http://www.visajourn...rt=#entry898520

They issued us an RFE for the I-864 so I'm hoping it wasn't for filling in that line incorrectly :(

It is easy to use the W2, and 1040 from previous year to prove the number on the I-864 when you use the prior year's gross income.


Anybody else? Can you guys tell me what you put on your I-864 when you filed?

Am filling up my I-864 and am going to do it online and not hand written. In the instructions it says that, Print clearly or type your answer using CAPITAL letters. My question is, does it refer to everything I type in this form in all CAPS? What did you do when you fill ur I-864? Please help!

Is there a preferred order of assembly for the I-130 Original Submission package?

I plan to put tabs on the bottom of the pages but I suspect that the first thing they do is put the package in an order they are accustomed to processing. It would be nice to have it tabbed out in order for them.

If anyone knows I would appreciate it, unless I have an epiphany and some obvious logical order hits me I will try the basic order the items are referenced in the instructions and see how that looks.

My wife is from the philippines we got all her police clearances from each city she has lived in the philippines and finally got the one from austria. I also asked her to get a nbi clearance but only has the one from 04'. She is no out of the philippines and working on a cruise ship. I really want to just send it all off. Will the police clearances from all the cities be ok or will we need that nbi clearance? Should I just submit everything and see what happens?

im currently located in middle east. & my fiance filed our K1 application last March 22,2007..I was here since 2005.
I'll be in PI by first week of July, start of collecting all the required documents. But before i will leave this middle east, i will secure my clearance here as well.

she will not come home in the Phils to prepare for this application?
if she will have her interview in other country, i think her '04 NBI clearance will be agreat help..if thats the last year she was in the phils.

i hope this will help in a way..

$380 is visa fee
and I think there is some fee at the time visa is granted at the embassy, but I am not positive on that one.

You are to correct that is how apprently that process works. Your going to have to send it with ur DS-230 forms back to the NVC when completed and ready to send it.

My case is at the NVC since April 27 and I am close to receiving IV bill. However, my wife is still in the process of getting her passport. Is her passport required before the interview? I have read somewhere that I need to send a copy of the biographic page of passport to the NVC with the DS-230. Is this true? Thanks in advance

I'm also on CR-1. She needs to submit both part I and II of DS-230, and only sign the Part I. She will sign part II infront of the CO before the interview. Include with the DS-230 all the required documents. There's a check-list in the Instructions for Immigrant Visa Applicants that she can follow.
This includes:
1. Birth Certificate (NSO)
2. Police Certificates (of other Countries where she stayed for more than 6 months)
3. NBI clearance
4. Photocopy of the biographic data of her passport
5. Marriage Certificate (NSO)
6. Annulment documents/Divorce decree (if this apply)

Hi,
I need some help to determine if I should have received my NOA1 (I believe its called) by now for my I-130, which I filed for my wife on 05/17/07 (recv'd by CSC per USPS web tracking). If it matters, I overnighted it late on 05/15/07 and hence it was received by CSC at 10:30 AM on 05/17/07 according to USPS.

My question:
In short, as of 05/31/07, I still haven't received any notice/correspondence from USCIS/CSC in regards with my wife’s I-130 application. In addition, as of today (05/31/07), even the check hasn’t been cleared from my bank account. I was told that I should receive the receipt in a week or so and since its been two weeks now, I was wondering if I should be worried about it and if I need to start emailing/calling (if its possible to do so at this point in time).

The reason why this is so important to me is becasue I am planning to file I-129F for the K-3 visa for my wife and hence its required for me to wait for the I-130 receipt, so that I can include it in my I-129F package.

Is there currently a delay at CSC in initial processing of I-130, at least as far as NOA1 is concerned? Can anybody please give me some input and if other May I-130 filers to CSC can share their timeline/status with me that 'd be great.

I am too in the same hole with you brother, I sent my I-130 to the TSC 5/11 and now its been 20 days and still I have not gotten my NOA1 or have seen my check clear. I really wonder what is the deal too.

Am sorry friend I guess I was not clear. Ok here it is, I had to order transcript because I am missing my 2004 tax return. This week I received my new past 3 year tax transcripts that I will be using for my I-864. Now the question is, do I send in this new Tax transcripts just here they are from the IRS or can I make photo copies and send them instead? Hope this is better...

The Lady who answer told me that my case had been moved to CSC and receive on 6/5 and also gave me my CASE number. Just a bit of information for those who are still waiting for a response.

This is pretty much telling you the dates when USCIS should be compliant in sending you a receipt, depending on the date you sent your stuff. I sent my I-130 in mid April to CSC and my I-129F to Chicago. Still have not heard anything. But as of 15Jun07 (when it states they will be compliant) I will definitely call them and see what is going on with my receipts. I did confirm my case number (numbers behind my check) through an info pass but I have not received anything. Hope all goes well for yall :innocent:

Here is a problem that I am having trouble resolving. Just need to know how everyone else did this since the year is not done yet. In quesiton 23 of the I-864 its asking me for "MY CURRENT INDIVIDUAL ANNUAL INCOME". The problem is that every year my income changes. For example last year I made over 50000 dollars and again this year it looks like am going to be making more then that because of working overtime and all. So how do I decide what amount to write in this space? Please advise me you that have completed this part already. Thank you!!!
