Sounds about right.. but don't worry. They will post it on their website once your appointment has been set. In our case it took about a week before we manage to find our appointment date. Your ok so far... good.gif

Our visa was delayed due to document verification even though it was payed on January 7th a full month before the interview. A Verification of receiving the text was sent by DELBROS. Today, we contacted DELBROS to find out when they forwarded our Document Verification to the US Embassy Manila. After giving our case number DELBROS discovered the Doc Verification was never sent, so they said it would be sent today. That is a 5 week and 4 day delay. This has caused my wife's visa to be put on AR. Estimated time 4 to 6 weeks.

I strongly suggest you call DELBROS after your text message verification to make sure they have forwarded the information. Nobody wants their visa delayed. The phone number is 2-339-2761.

Family is great Thank You! My wife has been here in Dallas for 6 months now but still very home sick and misses everyone back in the Philippines. Ah we are fine here in Dallas the Hurricane really didn't do anything here just few drops of rain here and there. We are more concern about you guys down in Houston and Galveston we been looking at the news and it looks pretty bad really. Last thing I heard was that the Houston Police was arresting everyone for simply looting, WOW! Must be pretty awful but I don't blame them. You guys also take care down there.

Well in my case I met my wife 2 days before I left Pampanga of which we spent together then, the next time I saw her was when we got married 7 months later. After that it took her 1 year before finally stepping foot in America and I did it all alone with no help except for the aid I got from this great site.

Well put Roserick and thats the reason why we are not planning to purchase a travel ticket for my wife until we learn she has been approved. Anyways she wants to spend few more days with her family in Philippines cuz of her father's birthday soon after ner interview. Thats the reason why we are just going to wait until we are finally really ready for her to be here until any Airline ticket purchase. My sister is at the NVC Affidavit of Support stage and apparently she doesn't make enough money for her husband therefore needs a Joint Sponsor. The problem is that even though I make enough to help them out I just recently file a Affidavit of Support for my wife. Am I allow to sponser a second immigrant? Hello All,

Please I need help on something very basic but very confusing to me right now. To all or anyone that has already applied. Am filling out my 1-130 application right now but am confuse of what name to right for my wife as her last name here. We got married few days ago in the Philippines and on our marriage license it still reads her maiden last name. So what name do I write as her last name on this I-130 petition and on her G-325a, my last name or her maiden name? Please if anyone can help me with this small issue I would really appreciate it.
