PhilippinesExpiring I-94 - what to do
That was a quick response, among the options you gave my spouse is gearing for the waiting game. I dont want my movements to be restricted but it will be the consequence i will have to face once im out of status. The things one does for love.

Being in a same-sex marriage has its own trouble then add that its bi-national.

PhilippinesExpiring I-94 - what to do
hello, i have been a regular visitor of this site, however, this is my first post. I badly need advise regarding my predicament.

My I-94 will be expiring this November, i was suppose to go back home last Oct 15 but decided to stay since i married my USC partner (now spouse) last month. As i have read here, we need to file AOS and I-CR 1 but we can't start due to the following factors: 1) same-sex marriage, 2) living in TX (same-sex marriage not recognized), 3) married at New Mexico (legality of same-sex marriage still being deliberated at Supreme Court), and 4) New Mexico Supreme Court justices will decide anytime before the year ends.

This is making me worry. My spouse is not as worried as i am and seems like taking time to file the papers.

I would appreciate any advise from someone here. Thanks

PhilippinesSuggestions for labs to conduct DNA testing

What good is a DNA profile for a step-daughter (who is totally unrelated to you by blood)? Like I said in your other post, DNA proves blood relationship and not the degree of relation (mother-daughter or siblings)

namour7997Not TellingPhilippines2014-05-07 14:55:00
PhilippinesDNA and immigration atty.

DNA would prove blood relation but not degree of relationship (mother-daughter or siblings) hence it will be very unreliable evidence considering USCIS already thinks you are related to her.

Maybe you can send them the evidence you submitted to correct the BC

Good luck

PhilippinesHow can I prove someone is still married in the Philippines?

"She was also married to another Philippine Citizen in 1983.  Long complicated story, but she was able to hide this marriage by using someone elses identity and then married the US Citizen in 1991."

Question: How can you prove she was married when you said she used another identity?

PhilippinesConsulate Outreach - Dallas

Thank you for posting but for some reason, passport renewal application for this outreach program is already closed since August 9, 2014 according to an automatic reply email by the consular office. How did that happen when it explicitly say that they would not accept applications before the press release of the outreach event? They posted the press release at August 27, 2014  around midnight.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsI-129F June Filers
Hello June filers,

First off I wish the best for everyone's process.

I am a little concerned that reading everyone elses timelines that it seems that your forms have been "touched" in the last month. As for mine, I got the NOA1 on 06/15/07, via checking it at the USCIS website. Apparently, it hasn't been touched since 06/20/07. That's about a month and a half since any activity. Should I be concerned of how slow my process is going?

It's is currently at the CSC.

I'm sorry for the question, and please excuse me this is my first post.

i can get them same day but getting the record check takes months and since i have a record im worried i need it. I have everything else and that will totally screw me over if i have to start all over again because they couldn't clarify what i needed.

Oh ok, gotcha. I always feel it's better to be safe than sorry, so sending away for it now couldn't hurt. It seems that different CO's have different ideas of who needs what when it comes interview time, so I really don't think anyone could give you a definite answer on whether they will ask for one. If worse comes to worst and you do need one, at least you'll have the process started instead of having to start at square one. If it makes you feel any better, Stacey33 sent away for hers and had it in her hands in about 6 weeks.

yeah i think i will go in Tuesday and get that started..

my biggest problem is i work on a oil and gas rig on a 3 weeks on and 1 week off rotation, so I only have one week to go and do whatever it is i need. Can be a pain especially since everything i need involves traveling to Edmonton.

Do I need fingerprints for my interview? I emailed the consulate and they told me i just need a police record check. The RCMP did that at their station. I can never seem to get a straight answer from anyone at the police station or the consulate. If I do need the certified criminal record check from Ottawa that takes 4 months or longer and every thing I have including my medical will expire!!!!!!!!! and I'll have to basically start all over again. Im located in a a small northern Alberta city and have to travel 5 hours to do any of this #######.

CanadaImmigration Lawyers?
Does anyone one know of a good lawyer to have a consultation with? My USC fiancee is living with me in canada illegaly and she was thinking of returning to the US before she gives birth. I'm just not sure if my visa will get approved by then. (might need the waiver) and im also waiting on my i-192 waiver. But if thats not here theres no way I can be there for the birth of my child. If thats the case I will most likely pay for the baby to be born here.
