Ladies, I had Joel to send me his passport picture via e-mail, I saved it to a CD, and took it to CVS and had them to print it out passport size.

Note; the picture was a passport picture when he had it sanned and sent via e-mail.

Honey, what form do you need to put a passport number for Dewayne on? I don't remember putting a passport number on any form.

Okay Mrs. P, these are the know facts:

Visa CR1 vs K3
CR1 enters with a 2 year cond, but they have a green card and EAD when they arrive-

K3 enters with a 2 year cond green card, but no EAD when they arrive

Now they both after the two years must file for removal of condidtions.

My case.

CR1 enters w/ GC and EAD, but Joel alreadys has a SS card.

K3 enters w/ GC no EAD, but Joel already has SS#

Want to wait to file for removal of conditions right after he arrives, because we would have been married two years by 2010, want to get 10 CG and try for citizenship.

So, my intial cost will only be for the EAD and AP card. I will have to apply for removal of conditions in both situations.

Mrs. Palmer, I would recommend that you send in both the 130 for the CR1 and the 129 for the K3. You can abandon the K3 at anytime if you feel the CR1 is moving along swiftly. Also trhere is no cost to filing the 129 for the K3.

On the USIC website for Vermont it says 6 mos for the K3 and they are working on 130 with a NOA of 02/2008. So, it still looks to be an average of 12 to 1 mos for the CR1.

Honey, the K1 is for non-marriage folks and the K3 is for those who are already married.

Well, the truth be told, I hate this wait and separation sh##. But, I guess I didn't do my homework before I enetered into this marriage. The economy sucks, so I can't travel as often as I want to.
It shouldn't take USIC a whole year to review these documents, but what do you do when the govt, gotya?

Lita, it will be okay, he will ask another yardie in the airport if he can borrow their phone and he will make that call. Just be patient, he can't call until he is thru custom check in, and that can take from 45 mins to an hour. If his next flight is within that time frame, he might not get to call you until he has landed in LA.

Rum can only be up to 85-90% proof, anything over 85-90% the airline can choose not to carry it on their planes. It has been explaioned to us, that in mid air- 90% proof liquor can act like gasoline. It can explode and ignite like a fire bomb.

Please note you should not bring fruit or vegatable from one country to another country, if they see it on the scanner, they will take it. We can go round and round about whether to tell or not to tell, but if they find it on the scanner there is a 90% chance they will take it.

The bottom line it will be his call.

Marlita, I've come through Miami with food items and they did not take them.

Tell him to blanche everything that must be cooked and then freeze it.

I have never heard that term before. some stuff he has cant be frozen or it ruins it.

Oh I am so sad for jennifer hudson family. I assume the boy was found dead.

Lita, they are going to ask him if he has any breadfruit, he can only bring it if it has been cooked. He will have to tell them no, if he says yes, they will search his luggage to remove it.

P.S. This was my experience as of 07/04/2008.

Hi Claire, I just got back a few minutes ago from Charlottee, NC and my allergies got the best of me. I have been miserable all weekend long. How are you doing? When my allergies act up, my asthma will start to act up, and I am trying to go to JA for the entire month of Nov. I still need to get the flu shot before I go, and every time I get it, I tend to get sick a couple of weeks later. I know it is not from the virus, it just tend to make my asthma act up. AH, I'm so tired now, I am not sure what I should do.

Didn't have to work hard

Eat what ever you wanted to eat

Men opened doors for you

Having sex w/o worrying about getting pregnant

Sleep all day long

Sleep at your desk at work

Arrive at work late w/o excuses

Marlita, don't feel bad, the only thing Joel can cook is rice maybe. So, he won't be the cook in this family. That's okay with me, I love to cook, so I will learn to cook Jamaican. The other day, Joel said he wouldn't want to eat Jamaican everyday anyway. He want to eat different types of food. So, I guess we will be Kool on this.
