Ladies, I am writting this just as a FYI.

The work programs that usually recurite from Jamaica workers, will not be able to recurite Jamaican workers this year, There have been a cap hold on recuriting H2B workers, therefore these same company have to advertise locally before they can be granted a H2B cap release. In saying this, I am putting it out there that companies such as Pool companies, Resorts, Asumentment parks, Hotels any other company that normally recurit sesonal workers will be looking for workers here in the US.

Thnx Rox, i knew this was coming..but i thought they 1st have to get to the B2B visa cap..so now what's gonna happen to the H2B visa when everyone is hired from within the US..with all this crackin down on illegal immigrants..they feel if they slow the H2B visas u can decrease the amount of illegals? hmmm

NO, that not what's happen, since our economic situation is so stress, the rule is you have to hire within the US, before they can allow for the H2B cap to be extended. I feel this capis only going to be for this year, then next year we will be back to recuirting from outside of the US.

Do Jamaica trade with them, they seems to have the same make up as Jamaica.

The music of Dominica plays an important role in the social and culture life of the Antillean island of Dominica. Popular music is widespread, with a number of native Dominican performers gaining national fame in imported genres like calypso, reggae, soca, zouk and rock and roll. In addition, Dominica's own popular music industry has created a form called bouyon, which combines elements from several styles and has achieved a wide fanbase in Dominica, especially the group WCK (Windward Caribbean Kulture). Native musicians in various forms, like reggae (Nasio Fontaine,Lazo), Brother Matthew Luke), soca (Derick St. Rose-De Hunter, Young Bull), zouk (Ophelia Marie), Cadence-Lypso (Exile One),(Grammacks) and calypso (The Wizzard), Levi "Super L" Loblack & Michele Henderson, have also become stars at home and abroad.

Kimmy, Brycie will be 4 in real age in October, but 8 in trying to take over my house. The age 8 comes from her father spoiling her, then bring her back to me to correct. So, I have to be the parents that says NO all the time. So I have decided to write an admentment to the chils support clause that he will have to pay 100% for her college education, since I am being made to be the mean parent. Do you think this will work?

Kimmy, I understand exactly what you are saying, Brycie has a hard time sharing because she is the youngest child in the family right now, all of my neices and nephews are teenagers or young adults. So everyone just spoils her, including my only brother. I know she will be expecting Joel to do the same and he will, but I have to put a stop to it. She will become a Male attention grabbers soon,, and she will think all men (boys) should pay attention to her.

Right now, because of her eyes, everytime we go out someone wants to ohh and ahh about her eyes, I just hate it. She not the first nor last with green/blue/brown eyes . So she just smile and try to play shy by hiding her face. Then she is a darn devil who like to dress frilly. Brycie will try to ride a bike in a dress, knowning that the bike is too big for her.

Hey Kimmy, I know exactly how that is, when I was doing my Masters, a couple of years back, it seems like every weekend I was doing papaers or particapating in study groups. With the Masters program it was 18 months straight of non-stop school work. It feels like I have been going to school my entire life, if it wasn't some type of college, now it certifications classes. The only good thing about the certifications classes are, they are all on line and my job pays for them.

Is there any way you can prove that you just recieved your car in florida? If so, that would be the way to go... By the way just showing that you just changed your insurance doesn't prove that the car was not physical in Fla.

If your car was driven fromCal to Fla, do you have receipts to show your car had been in Cal or some place else during the time you changed your drivers license?

yes

Mrs. Walker you will need to show proof that your car was not in the State of Fla, from the time you changed your lic,( last May) up until now. Also you must have the tags changed over by the time you appear in court. So if you can show this proof then the judge will probably accept this, and lety you go with a warning, but to go there without any proof and a long story, that the judge has probably heard from many people will not sit well. So good luck, and gather your evidence that the car was still in Cal until recently.

Have anyone heard of them not giving a married couple a visa, because they feel the marriage was not real, based on what evidence. Now, I realize they can deny for any reason, but if two people have made the committment but haven't actual lived together what will they be looking for?

Technically, you can't add that individual to anything here in the Us w/o SS#, and even if you add them to your health Insurance, most policies state that they must be a residence of the US.

Yeah, he's just frustrated. Me and the Mr. have issues too once it gets to the 4 month mark. I think thats when your faith is tested and the devil is released to try an reck havoc on your lives. It is very difficult to be away from the person you are in a relationship with. After awhile you start to forget them and who they are cause you are only left with memories. Then your mind starts to play tricks on you. I say its worth $600 to visit your husband and cater to your marriage. Your marriage is a priceless jewel. If you can lock in a ticket now, go for it. It will truly rejuvenate your relationship to be together.

Keep the faith. I am praying that September gives us waiting some good news. Even if I dont get a date but other VJ'ers do I know that the embassy is moving and making there way towards me.

Marlta, I agree 'I say its worth $600 to visit your husband and cater to your marriage. Your marriage is a priceless jewel." Being married and separated is the hardest thing to do, it is different than if you are engagned or dating. You have already made that commitment to serve and spend the rest of your life with that individual. I hear what the others are saying, but I still don't believe that they understand the strain and pressure being married and separted put on you. Yes, if I had to do it over, I would do the K1, but I married my husband because I wanted us to begin our lives together, not understanding that the visa process could take a whole year out of our marriage.

Malta, glad to see the earth quake didn't shake you.

I've given up calling them. I think I call once a month. They tell me the same #######, that doesnt make sense. It sucks. Now I am gonna go to JA and come back with that pain in my heart from leaving my husband and spend anniversary alone and have no word from the embassy with regards to a date. cray5ol.gif

Marlita, I understand how you must be feeling right, so close, but still far enough apart. I hated to leave my husband last week when I returned from JA. I called him as I was boarding the plane and he said get out of line and come back. I was so tempted to do it, if the flight steward hadn't interject her self in my way, I would still be in JA today. When I married my husband I didn't realized this separtation would be so hard. We were counting on his work visa to come thru. The work visa happened, but because he is married to a USC, they (the company) didn't want to risk it.

I tell him every day, that if there was the possibility I could get a job in JA, I would move there, but I have too much invested here for right now.
The lonelist doesn't hit until you have been back home a couple of days, then it hurts. I also understand what you meant on the other thread by how much harder it is, because you live alone. Also now friends and family don't understand the pain you are feeling by this separation. I hope I can show as much class as you have shown in this time of waiting for someone else to make a decision on your future. Keep up your class act and go and be with your husband and enjoy it to the fullest. Go and make memories. Smile when noone knows what you are smiling about. Laugh out lound about your private jokes. Cry when it hurts, but don't stop loving him.

Be Bless

You'll in a LDR, so it can't be that he forgot to put the toliet seat down, left his clothes on the floor, or didn't cook dinner. Didn't put gas in the car, drew too much money out of your joint account, stayed out all night(how will you know this)?...

That's a good question. To tell you the truth..I can't even remember. We didn't argue or disagree much but I can't for the life of me remember a reason or event. I guess it was pointless huh.gif

I just love him soo much. Okay..I'm going into my mushy mood. He hates it...lol...because I start building my kisses bank. I kiss him on the checks..over and over again. hahahaha
