Okay, so Kimmy are these High schools like what we call our Magnet schools here in the states. Is special funds given to these high school so they can offer better academic programs to their students?

Bunzarelli, I hope I am still around after Joel and I have finish this process, doing the CR1 is a lot different than the K1. Once you go to NVC, you still go thru another review process, so you go back into the cycle of waiting for a completion. I also noticed that Kingston, don't assign interview dates for K3 and Cr1 on a monthly basics it looks as if they wait until they have a significant volume then they assign dates. So you can find your self waiting by your self, as the K1's are being reviewed and moving ahead of you.

I will say, my husband has been my rock thru this entire process, because it drains you. You get so close, but Kingston has you waiting.

i feel your pain roxie
because u've been waiting a while now and its so close, so so close
but just keep taking it one day at a time
my husband is a rock too
my timeline says only one month waiting but trust me there is a long history preceding that just like i imagine a long history for everyone else

I was trying to make the poit that a CR1 amd K3 doesn't work the same way a K1 does once it reaches the embassy status. There seems to be a longer wait time for interview schedule time.

Every freakin thing in Maimi is over priced and over rated to me. Go to Wet Willies for frozen drinks and Mango's had good mojito's and food. They have woman and men dancing around and I got tired of seeing him at one point. lol Didn't go to any clubs.

Might be nice to take a tour og Versace's house. The turned into a Museum and your can tour it for $39. Where you staying? We stayed on 45th and Collins Ave. (Eden Roc Renaissance Hotel) It was to die for, but a hamburger and fries was $30. Yikes!

Oh that'a Marriott Chain...I'm a Hilton Girl!!! naw...I use those two when I travel.

We booked at this boutique hotel called Hotel Shelley recommended by NatPatBen. Although, I might break the hotel stay up I am looking at Royal Palm Resort in South Beach. Did you have a car? We are really going to do the beach thing. It's close enough to Jamaica. LOL.....

My plan is to sit out on the beach most of the day...reading and relaxing...

We'll definitely check out the Wet Willies and Mango's.

making him stand in the corner
making him do yard work for neighbours
making him eat unsweetened oatmeal for dinner
standing in the corner arms outstretched with a can of beans in each hand

Can anyone else suggest some legal and effective punishments??
I have been taking him toys and games away, making him stay in his room, to no avail. So will try these, but would love to hear some more!

Nat, according to IOG's list you are number 12 in line for a K1 visa, I see that VT on an average has been approving 5 K1's. So, it liooks as if your approval will be received sometimes within the next 2 to 3 weeks. The question is are you'll ready, because with a K1, the process moves very quickly after it is at the embassy.

If I were you, I would be setting up to put everthing in place to get the police cert, completion of the Ds-230 with his signature on it, passport photo's for the medical, preparing for the medical. etc. letter from employer, tax information..etc

Yes, I will put this disclaimer out.... There are no beaches i Maryland that can compare to any beaches in the Caribbean or in Florida.

Now, I would say that Point Look-out is a very nice beach in Maryland. It's about a 2 hrs drive from you...straight down Rt5 going south. You can go to Ocean City or Rehoboth beach, they are nice too. But since I live alittle more south than you, for day trips IO tend to go to Point Look Out.

I never knew that in some states/cities, the parks and beaches aren't free & open. Funny how there are these types of differences. Some places, zoos are free & parks aren't. Others, vice versa.

Like, at my university, students had to pay a HUGE amount of money for football games, whereas other schools gave students free tickets.

Please excuse my off-topic rambling. star_smile.gif

I waited awhile to see how far into this film he was going to go before he relaized that we could not enjoy this film this way. I asked him how do you watch a movie and not know what they are saying. He says, I just watch the action.

The movies starts and everyone is speaking chinese, so I say to Joel, where is the subtitles, he looks at me and says, baby their is no subtitles. I looks at him and I ask, do you know what they are saying, he says nah. I waited awhile to see how far into this film he was going to go before he relaized that we could not enjoy this film this way. I asked him how do you watch a movie and not know what they are saying. He says, I just watch the action.

I was too thru with him.
