Shawn, you'll a good person who shoots staright from the heart. Your words are valid, but sometimes people are not ready to hear all of the truth. So my friend, lets say we be silent and say we have advise her on what and how to end this. But what ever she choose to do, will be on her.

Love is like that special Jenny's cake, when it grabs you, you are no longer in charge. Do you throw it out of the window or do you keep eating it piece by piece because you just love the taste of it.

P.S. Shawn you should do a Dear Rata for your fellow Jamaican men, because I see all Jamaican men really don't know American woman. They may think they have won, because they have put their foot down on US sioil, but pay back can be a ######. Haha

TRelawny, there is nothing that works 100% in this area. I have been taking some many allergy pills since January, and I am still sneezing and coughing. The only thing that works is when I leave the country. When I go to Florida, or Jamaica, I'm fine. This is why I am leaving again next week, I can't take this much longer.

Good morning everyone.....

Shawn, I think your analysis will show the results you are stating, and I am sure evryone on this site knows that, But, remember there is always that but, that the one you give your heart too, is not in these statics..

Then we can take this same scenario and try this with MEN in the US and remove the greencard, but put in place of the greencard, a young girl, with lillte morals, those same 25 will have sex with her, but they will not marry her.

So, we can say the common domination is that MEN, and not all men think with the lower part of there body, not with their head, or heart.

Will I have to pay for his trip back home?

Absolutely NOT.

An annulment put you back into the staus of single, a divorce puts you into the staus of married, but divorce. An annulment wipes out the all indications of a marriage. But, that is a minor issue, she can divorce him. She really needs to stop the AOS before she is held accountable for the 10 year obligation. Right now the window of opportunity is there for he to get out.

But, I would be composing a letter to the USCIS office, to let them know that I am no longer going to AOS with him. Hi yardies - Whagwaan?! Well it looks lot a lot is going on -- babies for some, marriage plans for others, visa processing moving along for a few .... I'm sending a big congrats to everyone with good news! I'm on and off on the board -- dealing with a lot of issues at the job and sometimes coming home and logging on the computer is the last thing I want to do. Well I have some good news also --AW and I got our interview date -- May 29th at 7:30 a.m. We are excited and nervous (or maybe I should say anxious). So we are trying to get everything together for the interview. If anyone can point me in the direction of good/cheap drs. for the medical appointment, please PM me or send me a link.

@ JGay -- thank you so much for posting your experience. I think it's helpful to hear real stories of the adjustment period. I agree with a previous post PUT THOSE RINGS BACK ON your fingers. It'll be a constant reminder even when you're angry, when you are not together of the commitment that you made to each other. I also recommend that you and the hubby sit down and watch the movie FIREPROOF. It's a real good movie on how to "fireproof" your marriage. Check out the trailer here http://www.fireproofthemovie.com/. It's awesome and shows you the work you have to put in to build and solidify a marriage. I watched it ON DEMAND a few weeks ago. Good luck to the two of you and congrats on the little one -- what a blessing. And remember God never gives us more than we can deal with.

Gongrats Unruly.. as far as the medical A will have to use the doctors that are recommended by the embassy, Can't remeber where A lives in JA. I do remeber that one of them is located in Kingston, and the other is located in Ochio.

ladies, I would be careful about how you'll throw around the word sole custody. Sole custody does not take away a parent right. I don't know any one's situation, but I think some of you are confusing sole custody with physical custody. I am not stating any of this to start a diagreement with anything that has been said on previous post, but as I sit here reading some of these comments, I just felt it was necessary to state this fact. A father, and mother have equal responsibility and rights regarding their child, unless they have SIGNED that right away. So, yes a Parent (father or mother) with the other only having physical custody, can refuse to grant permission for their child to leave their birth country.

Mrs. P, there is atleast 52 more people ahead of me at the VT center, that are waiting on approvals for K3. I have a feeling that there is 1 to 5 service reps in the VT center that are working on K3. There job must also include H2b and Hb1 visa, because I notice that when ever it is time for work visas to be approved, the K3 slow down at VT. The K3 won't speed up until after April again, because most of the H2b and H1b visas would have been approved.

Sus, my department are PMO, so we have to work with programmers, engineers, tester, and documentaion and training. So this TB is with the doc and training, I wanted to take everyoone out of their comfort zone. My dept has people of all race and nationality. So sometimes there is conflict because of language and culture and age difference. The doc and training folks are all USA citizens and have been with the company a long time. (It's the them vs US) So heres my game paln, we are planning a Italian pot luck luncheon, with a this is my life theme. Italian was choosen because it will take everyone out of their comfort zone, but most people eat some type of Italian food. Everyone must cook or bring something Italian to the lucheon...sad to say the doc and train people don't want to cook. So I am taking the high road, my dept will do all of the cooking and we will invite the doc to come as our guest now.

I am thinking about sending each person their own e-vite from the web, and ask them to RVP.
I will have to put together the entertainment for the This is my life show.

'Manya,
I'm telling you, check on Just Vacations. The man I generally use is Chip, but the other two workers there are so nice and helpful. Girl, Chip was the one who booked our first trip to JA 4 years ago, and knows more about my relationship and drama than he probably should! He is a trip, and even since I've moved back down to NC he calls to chat! I love him! He was just pricing a trip down to the Bahamas for me in Aug. He is good! The address to the agency is 501 King Street, Alexandria, VA 22314. Their number is (703) 838-0040

Thanks...Chip is not far from me. Damien is dying to go to the Bahamas...if he ever takes time off work headbonk.gif

Do a long weekend trip, a Thursday to Sunday.

Rox, when is your 2 year anniversary? It is my understanding that as long as you are married for 2 years upon your SO's arrival in the US, then you are given the CR-1 visa, and you will receive the 10 year greencard...can somebody correct me if I am wrong? unsure.gif

That's it if he arrives here before 2/2010 then we will be issues a 2 year GC with conditions. Then 2 years later we have to apply to remove conditions, so that will mean that USCIS will be back in our lives again.

Mrs. P, I just want to get thru with this visa process, I want Joel to get his 10 year GC, that's why I don't want to adjust status until Aug. In 2/2010 we would have been married 2 years. So id we do the K3, then file for AOS in Aug I will be fine.

But if we do the CR1, can we file for removal of conditions before the two years are up, then I will be okay with that aswell.

hey ladies,

mRS p, I AM in need of some assistance in how i go about making group arrangements for my friends to fly down and any of my VJ sisters to JA in october for my nuptials?? i know only how to get my blak azz to JA, i dont know about everyone else??

oh yeah, is anyone here familiar with Hibiscus Lodge? or Mahogany beach? I am looking for a nice location that is not a resort or maybe a villa for rent for the day.

Apparently bookit.com now does installments....sooo if you make the first booking just forward it to them and they make their own along with that. Luvtravelin on here is a travel agent, maybe try pm'ing her to see if she could do anything for you guys!

Thanks. I will try bookit.com.

'Manya,
I'm telling you, check on Just Vacations.
