When I do Vegas, I always stay at a Timeshare, get free tickets to shows by attending the seminars in the am, shows in the PM and free $$$$. I don't gamble, so Vegas is only appealing to me for the shows and shopping. My GF's are the gambling ones, so we set up a team system, two of us may go to a different seminar in the am and acquire tickets or $$ for the 4 of us to use in the evening. The next day the next set of 2's do the same. You have to be patient... inorder to use this system. IT works and we have fun.

I don't see this working with your husband or SO along. But if it's just a girls trip it works.

JG, if you want to go cheap, you can always do a timeshare seminar and refuse to buy at the end. Vegas is full of Time shares. Also see if one of your friends have a timeshare and buy a week from them, that works aswell.

Hey Philly, As you know in Kingston there isn't much room to grow a garden in some of the yards, so I keep trying to get my MIL to grow a container garden for some of the small plants, like tomatoes, peppers, and beans. But, I somehow am not getting thru to her about the concept of a conatiner garden, so while I am there in Feb, I will be trying to get this concept going.

She has a small ground garden out back, but with water being a problem, some things don't survive. I have a question thru, can she use water that was used to wash dishes to water her plants, or will the chemical in the suds kill them?

Morn yardies,

I have a question concerning bona fide evidence. I have all my phone records from at@t from May 2008 to the present. However, I only have the paperless bills that is printed cause I have att to email my bills every month. Can I use the printed bills or not? If I can't use the printed bills, then, I am messed up.

I have dental, health and eye care insurances, irs statement 2008 where I claim my wife, western union receipts and printed att bills

I forget to add the pics of our wedding and some other pics taken during my visits to JA three times there.

Hi, myjamwifey

You are doing a CR1, the only thing the embassy will be intrested in is that you'll are still maintaing a married relationship. Copies of your phone bills as paperless will be accepted. Don't worry about all of the other stuff unless you give them something to worry about. Good luck on your journey.....

Hi Philly,

Philly, I have sent an e-mail to one of my friends that lives in Port-au-Prince, he has not responded to the email yet, but if I do hear from him what area is your family members from. I can ask him if he has heard anything about the conditions for that area.

Also, My gf is from Haiti, so she and her family are trying to contact family members too. If I hear anything that maybe of assistance to you, I would gladly pass it on. I know you have your sources, but many ears can travel far.

Your family and friends are in my prayers.

Do you have this information

The State Department Operations Center has set up the following number for Americans seeking information about family members in Haiti: 1-888-407-4747 (due to heavy volume, some callers may receive a recording).

Hi, All.

I'm still catching up, but to comment on this....

We saw Air Force One landing! No other flights could take off until that one landed, which caused delays. A lot of people on the flight were upset, but since I was with my love, I didn't mind the delay.... even if we didn't get home until 12:30am.

Also in the Vegas airport yesterday, I saw this one dude & was like, "Steven, is that the Allstate Guy?" He said, "Looks like him." Then the dude talked in that distinctive voice & we knew it was him. He looked smaller (shorter, thinner) than on TV. Dennis Haysbert is his name (just googled).

Lastly, I need for all full-sized people to know certain undocumented etiquette. Steven had the window seat, I was in the middle, and a big-hipped woman sat next to me! Why????? She should know not to sit next to another big-hipped woman! The undocumented etiquette would've been for her to sit next to a thinner person, and let a thinner person sit next to me. Whatever. I just scooted closer to my husband

.

----------

Question: Would any of you feel uncomfortable asking your mother to call during certain hours (say, not before 9am or after 11pm)?

I'd have NO issue saying "Sandra, how come you've been calling me so early? I'm still sleeping." But I learned this morning that not everyone feels comfortable asking their parents to look at the clock before calling.

Nat at what point would she had known you were a full sized passenger? It seems she had already taken her size into consideration by getting an aisle seat.
