K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	VERMONT AUGUST/ SEPTEMBER 2008 K 1 FILERS	On Feb 1 will be my six month of waitting. I haven't heard anything from Vermont. Not even a touch or anything. I keep calling them almost everyday but they only say one thing. The Vermont is processing March and they haven't change that since September. Anyway, we are applying to have the visa processed in South Africa because I am going to go back there in November, and will stay there until my visa is processed. I can't wait! Well I suppose I should go - I'm looking forward to having a bit of support on here, and following the stories of the so many people in the same position! Welome and i wish you good luck. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	We're Married!!!	OK, so, we still have the big wedding planned here in April, so, we are keeping it a secret from everyone.. but my fiance.. I mean, ahem.. husband.. moved here on the 16th, we met up in vegas for a few days and got married on the 18th!!! Sooo excited!!! I just want to stand on the rooftop and scream it, but I can't.. so I thought I'd at least tell a bunch of strangers =) We wanted to get a head start on the paperwork since it is 2 months until the wedding, and his parents will be here for a couple of weeks afterwards, so wanted to make sure we got it all done on time. It is soooo nice not having to see each other with a countdown in the back of our heads.. I hated constantly thinking.. "we only get to spend 8 more days together.. now 7.. now 6.." It is fantastic having that feeling GONE!!! Now.. to start looking into all this other paperwork we have to start.. there will probably be more posts from me soon... sigh... I mailed our package I-129F Saturday the 19th Overnight delivery. I was expecting no delivery Sunday, and again no delivery for Monday as it is a holiday according to the postal clerk who took the package. I entered our tracking number tonight so I could put the paper away and have loaded here on the computer. Much to my surprise, it came up :: delivered on 01/20/2008 at 01:58 PM in SAINT ALBANS, VT 05479 to P NOVAK. Apparently they are working there on Sundays? Is this something new? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	October 2009 Filers	Haven't posted in this thread in a while but I'm happy to say that we just had out interview at the embassy today and we were approved! No blue slip and they kept her passport telling s they would mail it to us within a week! I think we are the first VSC October K1 filers to get to this point. It was an insanely fast 93 days from petition sent to interview approval at the Embassy in Seoul, Korea. Interview was very short and the only questions asked were: How did you meet? When did you decide to get married? When will you go to the US? and Where will you stay in the US?. The whole process took us an hour and a half from the moment we walked in the embassy. I got a txt message and an email from uscis today saying that they approved our petition on the 20th of November which was last Friday. We are so excited and happy.
