I got the AOS billed and paid it already, mailed the I 864 already as well. They received the 3032 on 8/9 but it hasn't been processed yet, and no IV bill has been generated. I'm starting to panic! Don't panic, I'm in the exact same situation, got the ds-3032 on the same day. I called NVC because I did not hear anything from them about that, and they told me it takes 10-15 days.... for what???? to key in a couple of entries on a piece of paper? IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	March 2010 CR1 filers	OK ANYONE WHO HAS APPLIED ON A i-129f before the I-130 can you tell me this.....today in the mai i recieved another letter that states my I-129F petition has been closed..the first letter two months ago stated it went to storage....does this have anything to do with why our I-130 petition is taking so long damn... I dont get this ####### we already knew this that we were denied so that is why we got married in morocco not here cos we had to appy for the I-130 omg are these people stupid.... and why would they put two cases together if one was denied omg ....so now that they touched our case today will that be our time for approal...hope someone can help with this...thank you Don't be to concerned over that. However, if enough people were to call and complain based on the previous history, it is possible that they would be annoyed enough to "get rid of the annoyance" and just start approving....who knows....... And that's what he put as NOA-2 date as well. I thought at first that it could be the case of RFE......but then I looked at his timeline and it reveals the typo. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	March 2010 CR1 filers	well may i ask a question? how do you get in touch with your senator anyway? i am from florida. i have never done it but in the future if this keeps up i would like to know how to do it. last year I had to contact the congressman. I went to his office, (no appt), spoke to a case worker on the spot. She took copy's of all the documents I brought that showed the USCIS screw up.....I had a response from her within a week and a follow up from her a month later. I can't say that they helped move the case along, but it did give me a little peace of mind. I got stuck in AP in NVC for 30 days after waiting over 6 months for an NOA 2. Medical cost is in addition to this and typically anywhere from $50 to $400 based on beneficiary's country's living cost. These are the main costs after I-130 $355. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	March 2010 CR1 filers	more waiting and waiting.. here we go again. maybe they willg et a mad rush of approvals soon. probably they have a stack of approvals sitting on this one desk.....hmmmmm, that person has been out for 2 weeks.. that person comes back in to work, and for the 75k we pay them annually in our tax's and fee's, this person goes through that entire stack in about 3 minutes with a scanner. Seconds later places the scanner back into it's harness and goes to the console. Press's one button and "bada bing"! 100 or so files get approved instantly. So rapidly in fact that VJ can't keep up, and must add another server to handle the load of happy people. Now wouldn't that be nice if it happened today? I have a few friends in Brazil, 2 or 3 in Fortaleza. I mentioned to her last night to take the form in to them and just fill it out..... most of it is simple stuff..... then she can go back online and fill it out and print it. so hopefully she did that..... She is getting excited now.... and probably when she got the email from NVC and it was all in English, she's probably freaking out...... but thats ok....... as long as I get the papers I need, she's gonna be fine. I went 7 months before we got approved...... had to get the congressman involved and all......(even thought I don't think it helped).... and that was a for a K1 in Vermont......... for years, Vermont was like lightning... later it was slow, had 3 speeds, slow,; slower and STOP! now it seems like CR1 is like molasses in California. How can they just stop but yet meet there quota....... many now are getting close to the 5 month goal. Even though both were filed on the same day, one was accepted the other was not..... ( my fault ), only sent $355.00....... should have sent $710....... so they approved hers (noa-1), but denied his. ofcoarse our super efficient mailing system here delivers the bad news on the day before a holiday..... so I send out the payment next day (overnight) with letter and a complete copy of original package urging them to link the two together. and this is what I get...... Don't misunderstand me, I'm happy my wife has the approval, but I'm stressed that my step son does not...... maybe we can just pin a note to his head like what is mentioned on the Jeff Foxworthy....cd..... lol........ hello........"Here's your sign"! ya know tape 20 bucks to his head and wish him the "best o luck"....... IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	March 2010 CR1 filers	when I received the initial denial, I sent a letter asking them to process them together, linking her NOA-1 number to his.... but obviously that didn't work because she got approved and I haven't heard anything for him, but remember, his NOA-1 was 15-20 days later then hers...... don't ask me why..... but that is what I have hard copy's on. Even though the day I received the denial, I sent the letter along with the required paperwork overnight. I was advised by someone on here, that NVC sets the date for the interview, and if my wife's paperwork pushes through, I will have no choice but to contact and hold up her completion until his is at least linked to hers. So I'm right there with ya. I know the stress level.... I want to see April approvals fly...... believe me....... because I know his will bring an RFE...... which will only set us back even further...... IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	March 2010 CR1 filers	No i understand that you are waiting from CSC. what i was trying to say is that they are approving k-1's at VSC like crazy so that will ahve to slow down soon because they are almost done through June and some of July but they are sending them to NVC also so i don't know why they would slow us down then if they are behind. the only thing i can say about the k-1's is that they go through NVC and no paperwork goes to the NVC from us. we bring the paperwork to the consulate whereas the marriage petitions we are sending info to NVC. this could be why there is a hold up. the economy is down so maybe there aren't as many employees or theya re on vacation or whatever. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	March 2010 CR1 filers	i just check the uscis website.. when i checked my status.. it still says initial review but next to it is decision and post decision activity... does it mean that i will never have an rfe since it's not there anymore?? just wonder about that.. I would not put to much confidence in the USCIS website. I remember last year they had the same problem. I am beginning to think that it is deliberate. Some people get notifications from it, where others do not. I was approved well over a week ago and the website still says I am in "initial review". Seems kind of rediculous to me to offer such a service but not use or maintain it properly. Never received any type of email or text message regarding our case. The fact that the USCIS website still said "initial review" after the touches was driving me crazy. I don't mind waiting at my spot in line like everyone else, but I can't stand not knowing WHAT is happening. In all the feelings of happiness, I still don't think it's fair that we, March 19 NOA1 Marchers, got NOA2 before others here that had NOA1 dates well before ours. My wife and I are praying for you all, keep the faith Marchers. congrats Josh....... Don't worry about us, were just behind you and looking for you to show us how quick it's gonna go. Glad to here there is more approvals this week from VJ.
