It's been quite some time now. I am currently on vacation with my wife so my process will be slowed down a little probably since i am not in the states but at least the uscis process is finally over. You can get the police records anytime but I would advise either after noa2 or right when you anticipate your noa2. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	My Wife Passed Her Interview!!!	My wife's interview was in Tirane, Albania. Her appointment was at 9am. When she showed up at 9am, she gave them pictures, emails, letters and phone records. All of these documents were given back to her with the exception of the photo albums. She then was told to come back at 1pm for the actual interview. During the interview, she was only asked a few questions. What is you maden name? How long have you known your spouse? Do his parents work? Where do they work? After that, she was congratulated and told to come back on friday to pick up her passport with the visa on it. I just checked my email and it says approved. I had to double check the USCIS website and sure enough I then read the email to my sweetheart, even though she was still asleep in the Philippines, but it was worth waking her up. We had to share it together. Now on to the next step. So can someone please update my timeline. It also drives me crazy to see people who filed in March getting NO2. Its great for them, but sux for us. I truly begin to wonder if they've lost our file, but then I come on here and see others in my predicament! A well-placed op-ed piece in the NYTimes or Washington Post would probably do the trick and shame them into getting their act together. If NO2 doesn't come this month! He was at the wrong place wrong time he should be ok, don't stress it. And you are going to have income issues - You are not only sponsoring her, you are sponsoring 3 kids - so an $8 an hour job is probably not gonna cut it. Have you ever been to Jamaica before? Why not take a trip, stay with her where she lives or her family lives, and spend some time together in person before marrying / filing? Not only would that strengthen your relationship, it would also help you to establish what you will need at the Embassy.
