True, cause I got a whole list of counties that I want to travel to. Although, I must admit it is a whole lot planning for two folks as opposed to just self but I wouldn't have it any other way.

The thought of planning for two doesn't phase me - Cause for years now I have always been the vacation planner with all my friends - so I am used to it. The cost, on the other hand, could be an issue!

I'm with Quana, I miss my trips every three months or so as well! Glad my Sweetie is here but I dang sure need a vacay something serious!

I can understand needing the vacation - But I can honestly say, I will not be missing my trips being so often - right now I am missing my chances to travel somewhere else, or just take a few days off to get stuff done around home, cause all my vacation time heads to JA - I am looking forward to the day when I can be on the other side and go somewhere else!

Okay, I love you again already!

My company outsources IT and this is our biggest hit... the admins never do routine maintenance  that is WHY they have to spend so much time putting out fires...

We get a lot of customers this way

Well, this isn't technically IT - we have two programs that are specific to my dept, and one person who is in charge of them - I have training and tech support capabilities to be the backup and make the changes - But it's not in my job description, even though everyone unofficially expects me to provide the support - However, my attitude at the moment is show me the money! So I forwarded her email to my boss and told him that I don't consider this routine maintenance, and that if they want me to fix her screw up then they have to authorize OT!

Yes, it was marriage based, he marry a US citizen. And if I understand correctly he was dealing with a lawyer and paid the lawyer a portion of the money, so because he never paid all the money to the lawyer he never sent of the package. HMMMPPP they missed the deadline.
I know another couple who got through too.

I didn't mean his particular situation - I meant the bill. The bill that passed in 2001 stated that as long as you entered the US through a legal means and remained consistently in the US during a certain time period, you could pay a $1000 fine for the overstay and get your green card - Regardless of marriage to a US Citizen or not.
susFemaleJamaica2010-06-29 11:56:00
Mexico, Latin & South AmericaYardies at home and a farrin, Part 27!

I know people who got married when the granted an reform in 2001 if you married a US citizens.

They married but did not complete there application because they did not have enough money to file. SIGH!!!!

Wow that's sad - the reform in 2001 wasn't only marriage related - I have a ton of friends who got their greencards when they passed - I lived in a neighborhood of UK illegals at the time

So, here is my rant of the day:

1. I have PMS
2. The hook on my pants is loose, and popping open each time I move
3. I go back to the periodontist today
4. I walked in this am to 4 new litigations and a new class action
5. The IT byatch in my group screwed up one of our systems, and when I asked her to fix it she told me to go ahead and do it since I have admin access, she simply doesn't have time for routine maintenance - First, this is not routine maintenance, you screwed it up - and second - it's HER FRIGGING JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No they cannot JAP, this has been discussed over and over. The only way you can do it is if you have the EAD. That's why they advise you to apply for your GC, EAD and AP all at once. If you do the EAD by itself, by the time they approve you for EAD you might have your GC already. It's 340.00 for just EAD, its free basically when you do it with GC.

Actually, you are supposed to get an EAD stamp with the K1 stamp in your passport - many people travel through JFK just because of this, because JFK used to be one of the only ones guaranteed to give this - a K1 can work, but only while the K1 is valid - however, fighting the battle is not always worth it - and as soon as you marry and file AOS, it voids the stamp - which is kinda stupid -

Good afternoon all I have been really busy and trying to keep up with all that going on.

Do any of you guy have baby mamas that just don't care about the child.

We had her sign a paper so that when he comes we can start to file for his daughter and he hasn't heard from her since which was over 2 months ago, and she hasn't seen her since Dec. We were watching a Passe Passe video and everytime we watch one she is always on their dress to death and never does anything for the chile.

Pshhhhhhhhhh - don't even get me started - DJ's baby momma gave him up to DJ when he was about 6 months old - think she has seen him 3 times since that - he's gonna be 8

Still waiting on the wedding pics.... Shemmy's got at least a year's pass if she's going by your timeline!

People are so funny....my friend asked me yesterday if the baby will have dual citizenship. I said I was not sure yet then she asked me about Damien. I told her has has been eligible for awhile (year and half) and we are filing by the end of July. She said GOOD cuz at least he's not USING you. Boy...I let her have it...first off...my husband has been here almost 6 years...had his 10 gc for almost 3 years...IF he wanted to go he would have been gone. Second, he makes enough money to support himself and pay household bills...he doesn't need my income. What is he using for? She couldn't answer. Maybe he actually LOVES me...u think??

I would have ripped her a new one if I were you, Shem - some people have NO clue

Just talked to my boss - He's awesome, and he's not the problem - it's the people above him.

Long story short - I found a new job evaluation yesterday to create a new position in my dept - It basically is word for word what I do, substituting the area of law for a different area of law, requirements of LESS experience and education than I have - and the comparable internal jobs that they are using to base the pay scale on are around $50K HIGHER than what I make, plus bonus!

I went ballistic - My boss just agreed to rewrite my job and try to push through my re-eval to match this one - but at this point, if they want to keep me, show me the money!
