I actually like grocery shopping - just haven't had time lately. But where my office is, it's not that easy to run out and grab something quick for lunch (nothing that close and a TON of construction on the road) - And our cafeteria continually raises prices - Last week I got a ham and cheese sandwich, chips, and a soda - $9.75!!! Are you kidding me?

Today is my Friday - thanks to my wonderful IT group, tomorrow will be spent in my PJs while they try to fix my computer - They have been trying all week and haven't been successful yet, so I told them that I would leave it with them tomorrow and work from home

Finesse, the girls are so beautiful!

Mo - I have been watching the hurricane forecast too - looks like it will mash up the Museum for Friday :( But at least I still have Roseland Ballroom!

JQ - I agree with the others - You need to just stop doing things - Let him figure it out when he's hungry, has no clean clothes, etc... - after a while of this, he'll start to get the hint and then is the time to have the heart to heart - Not now when you are doing it all and he's not grasping the full concept of what you do. Your priority right now needs to be you and the baby, and he needs to do his part.

Well, Eric can't find his baby momma's where abouts. So he will have to go the courts to get an affidavit. Don't ask me, but his father knows someone who works there and that is what they said. You know, when you right your right. I told that man, not to come until he got everything straight with that woman. Did he listen, HELL to the NAW. Now he trying to rip and run and get everything done before he returns on the 3rd.

Don't think we need the letter for interview, but we will need it for her to leave the country.

Good luck with this - I think you might need it for the interview (not positive, but it would seem likely that you would need proof of custody). How frustrating, though- Going through the courts in JA can take MONTHS

You might try contacting the Child Development Agency - they deal mainly with foster care and adoption, but might be able to help or give you a contact - http://www.cda.gov.jm

Filing the K1 - you include the child on the petition and have up to a year to bring the child here - you don't have to pay the separate application fee for the child, but still have to pay the visa fee, medical, AOS, etc...

Filing the CR-1 - you have to file a separate I-130 for the child -

Not sure which exactly is cheaper, you would have to add the costs - but on the K1, she could come here, find a job, and then email the embassy to get the child's interview set, as long as it was within the first year.

LOL!! I think it does....I get SO pissed when people argue with about this....Hmmm...wondering how to word it more 'delicately'!

Although I took many photographs during your session, I view my photography as an art. Sometimes, it can take that hundreds of shots to capture that one special moment. Because I prefer to have each client's result be special and truly show the essence of the occasion, I only release the best of my photographs.

Morning all - What other calling cards have you all used for JA? I have been using Ringyard, but it's giving all kinds of problems for me - someone said Rebtel, so I signed up for that and it's ridiculous - it will not even connect the call, and now I am in a Paypal dispute with them for a refund of the $25 I put on the account.

So, what else do you all use?

427 S. LaSalle - 3rd floor
Chicago, IL 60605-1029

Gracias anticipadas por su colaboracion.

Gracias, Dianita, siempre tan oportuna.

Morning all!

I'm attempting Oxtail for the first time. Yikes! Any tips? Bless my husband and his tastebuds. I am no idea what I'm doing. :help: Speaking of cooking. What other sides are good to serve my hubby? I'm sick of the same old..rice, yam, and dumplins. I know he's used to that, but thought I could mix it up a bit.

How did the oxtail turn out? Have you tried making other sides? I have found that with DJ, if I talk about them he might not try them - if I just cook and put it in front of him, he eats and loves it. One thing I made that he loves was chicken with Thai Peanut Sauce (package mix, lol) - Said it was like a spicy peanut punch.

Try these for ideas - the Jamaican eats magazine is EXCELLENT, I have made many good things from there:

http://caribbeanpot.com/
http://www.jamaicaneats.com/

Yes it is his nickname and don't really know who he got it...you know there are bout 10 different stories depending on who you ask. Hubby said he gave him that nickname because Hubby liked Jazz music when baby momma was PG rated.

Good luck on the cooking you are a brave woman!

Matt just posted on FB his "Stag" party...we should all go RSVP that we are coming...I think that would be really funny.

I might give him a heart attack - because I could make it a reality!

I am not a fan of needles either - but you honestly don't feel it with the acupuncture - I just got one of my friends to go, finally, and she was in awe - It isn't a cure, but it definitely gives you some relief from the pain -

You made me spit my slurpee out on dis he'ar chile! LOL

Thank you for asking. He is doing well. They ended up sending him home. No surgery and he is no longer in pain! (Thank God) He called me yesterday thanking me for being there for him and forcing him to go to the hospital.. it was a tender moment.. cause he is usually a grouch lol

As for the car, Ive detained an attorney who is actively working on my case. Im STILL seeing a chiropractor and the car is going in the shop for and estimate. They are giving me a rental if they do the repairs.

Im in a lot of pain because along with the accident, I have a lot of junk in my trunk lol...If I sit too long my legs go numb. I am also having tingling in my left should down to my hand. My right pinky finger is bruised too. I go for xrays friday morning...

Uggggggh! I need this vacation desperately!

Hello miss dillon :)

That sounds painful - Have you ever tried acupuncture? That works wonders - Also, see if you can find Arnica gel or cream - it's an herbal cream that helps speed up healing and get rid of bruises - I turned my cousin onto it when she broke her elbow - she calls it crack cream now and puts it on every little thing!

Aww, I can imagine - What are you going to school for? Okay Yardies, I know this has been discussed before in the past, probably numerous times but y'all know I'm bad with paying attention...I'm sure I have one of those disorders...anyhoo...what exactly is the procedure for declaring stuff vs. not declaring stuff when going to JA?

I use to take down stuff before and never had a problem or got searched or anything but this time it will be Den with me and we trying to take some stuff down for his son, and our niece and nephew...just kinda want to know what to expect for in September...cause I don't want no mess!

He can bring back $500 of stuff duty free as a returning resident -

# A passenger who is eighteen (18) years or older and who is the holder of a Jamaican passport or is ordinarily resident in Jamaica is entitled to additional duty concession in respect of other personal or household effects not specified in (1), (2) or (3) above which the proper officer is satisfied are not imported for sale or commercial exchange and do not exceed US$500 in total value. This concession will not be granted to a person who has been permitted duty free importation under this section within the six-month period immediately preceding the date of return to Jamaica.

I love my beautiful fiancee. She had me come home to pick up lunch. Jerk Chicken, with potato, sweet potato, plantein, and dummpling...She also made enought to last the remainder of the week...
