in case u saw this post already on another topic that it had nothing to do with SORRY but apparently its still too early for me to function hahaha

morning ladies!!!!!!!!! k i have a question and not sure if i should post here but i will at least start with ya'll......i have not yet legally changed my name yet on license, SS card, etc and wondering if i do it now in the middle of filing if it will mess things up (i have to change my address on my license and figure i may as well do the name change as well) secondly, if i change the name on my license and SS card then I would assume that when it comes tax season i would have to change all that as well when i file taxes???? i was praying all this would be over with and richard here by tax time so name change would be no big deal....now i am starting to second guess.....and third, when it comes time to file i didnt know if i should plan on filing as married or singel for this year.....obviously going forward after he is here i will file as married LOL(i am under impression i have 1 year to report marriage to state and such) any of you have any imput on any of my issues???? i know someone has some sort of imput......oh sus!!!!!!! LOL

have a great day ladies! and matt!

Change your name now, and yes you would change it on your taxes - and get Richard an ITIN and file married, claim him as a dependent!!

JQ usually I am strong and usually I can defeat and overome any situation with prayer and faith. I want to believe, I do but I am just not in a good place right now. I am talking with some family saying very little because people always have their own agenda to and love to tell you what they would do if they were in that situation. I am just taking each day as it comes right now my heart is ripped out and stomped on. I wanted a baby for so long and now that I am pregnant and due soon I am not so sure how happy I am. I have been miserable this whole pregnancy due to being sick and now this mess.I want my little girl to be happy I just have to find that place again. I know it wont be overnight and maybe not even in a month, but each day I will just try and do what I can . I just feel so weak

Saying very little is a wise thing - ultimately, it is your road to travel and it is not an easy one - but right now it's very easy to lash out in anger and snap to decisions, and only you can decide what the future will hold for you - You have to try to step back, take time, and sort things out - No matter what happens, know that out of this relationship you have gotten the gift of a beautiful baby girl and will have that gift for the rest of your life - Nothing is more precious than that. I truly believe that everything happens for a reason, even if that reason is not clear at the time - You will survive from this, as impossible as it might seem now - if it ends up your path to be a single mom, have faith in yourself and know that you can do it - and as MRs Tee said, it takes a village and you have the support of your friends, your family, and the yardies at all times, no matter what is going on -

Stay strong, take care of you - things will sort out as they happen - Anytime you need to talk, know that we are all here for you and you can lean on us at any point! Trust me, I know how hard it is to be where you are - especially when you have the stress of being pregnant. As Honey has always said - Whooooooooooooooosaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah - let it out, no matter what way you have to do that! Sending hugs!!

For anyone calling Jamaica - I had a battle on the phone with Ringyard last night - Long story there - But, they advised me that there are issues connecting to certain JA cell phone providers at the moment. I just got an email from sosochat advising me of the same.

Hey all...

So I got a call from a friend in Jamaica. Her daughter is taking 8 CXC's so she was asking me to help. Of course I really don't have the means right now, but told her if anything came up where I could, I would help. She said it was $3500JA per subject. Which would be like $350 for all 8. That sounded a lot to me, so me being me, I called my old school. They told me it was just under $2000JA per subject.
Still a lot, but she is obviously lying to me. I had said to myself that if I booked a session in between now and Nov 4th (the deadline to pay) I would have sent her the money. Now, I'm pissed as hell, but still thinking I might call her out but still help if I can. What would you do?

Based on that, I would probably be pissed and tell my friend to go piss in the wind, lol - But on the other hand, I wouldn't want the child to suffer if I could help - do you know what school she is in? Can you call the school directly, find out what is going on, and what the costs are and arrange payment directly to the school?

I like Home Deport better!

However, if he gets an offer from them, even Part time, JUMP on it! Two of my cousins went to work for them - Both moved up through the ranks, they have a great training program internally - making 6 figures on a HS diploma -

Awww man, you going to have a good one. Den leaves on 11/2 and suppose to get back before Thanksgiving. Although, he just got a call this morning about a possible part-time job at Home Deport...so I might need for him to handle that before he takes any trips back to Ja.

Don't know either. It's something on their end but the woman on the phone say they wouldn't send duplicate emails with different dates on a petition that was already approved....

Did you ask her for her email address so you could send her the proof? Sounds like there is some computer glitch or something

Sus, when is our next trip?

Good Morning I guess,

I dont know where to start. All I could say is I want my baby out of me and I am deeply devesated. I found out my husband is cheating on me. Last night my heart and stomach were laying on the couch and something to me just didnt feel right, I tryed to keep level headed thinking it was just my hormones but always trust your instincts(who knws if I am spelling that right but at this moment I do not care) I wish everyone the best of luck on there journey but I believe I will be ending mine.

Take care

Oh, hugs Always! Take care of you and that baby, that is ALL that matters now - Regardless of whatever else happens, you have been given a blessing and a wondrous gift out of this - We are all here for you, reach out at any time for whatever.

hope you did't get peed on!

anyway, SO SO SO glad its Friday!! Hubby and I are actually getting a babysitter and going out together ALONE tonight!! Lord have mercy, let me tell you, our relationship has changed a lot since the girls have been born. Not in a bad way, just in a babies take over our life and we never have time for anything else kinda way. We realized that we still need to make time for each other...even if we have to schedule it on the calendar so the days dont go by and we get too busy and forget.

A friend of mine, who is also a family counselor, gave me some great advice. She said, as parents, the same tender loving care that we give to our children we must give to each other. The same patience, kindness, nurture, support and love we show to our babies that we love so much, we must treat our mate with that same tlc...

ok, sorry for the sappy post. anyway...so who else is having a SEXY party tonight???

Awww, sweet - and I agree completely - I have seen that be the downfall of so many couples, they don't make time for each other after they have kids.

No sexy party for me tonight Posted Image Posted Image

Yes, he needs the visa - but the US nah care bout the visa - he flew from here, not JA

dang...I didn't even think about that -- thought she was asking about travel from Jamaica

I happen to know one BIG IDYAT who thought that cause he had his GC he had free reign for anywhere - and got to the UK only to be put on a plane back   so I thought I would mention it.

How long did it take, if you don't mind sharing?
I'm concerned about my ability to bear children cause I've always been super irregular. Just went to the obgyn a couple of days ago & she prescribed some stuff that's supposed to help.

Question: To travel internationally after you get a LPR card, you just have to have your passport & LPR card to get back in the USA, right?

Make sure you check where you are travelling internationally though before you book - Just because someone is an LPR in the US does not automatically mean they can travel anywhere in the world they want - the guidelines for visas are still the same as if they are living in JA.

Thanks for all the well wishes guys! And just so you know--I'm SOOOOOOOOO praying for a son! It's been my dream (tho this dream may change sooner rather than later!) to have 3 sons.

Whatever you do - STOP AT THREE - three is manageable - 4 is just toooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo many at once! I could handle my 3 nephews - that 4th one just pushed the mark - and God help us when the whole family is together - that means 16 under the age of 12 = 14 of which are boys!

YEP! I just blew some your way!

but 100% paid medical for 2 years.... I would have had to quit next year. So I either leave with the 4 1/2 weeks + 5 weeks vacation + 2 years 100% medical paid OR I leave with nothing and a chance to go on unemployment IF they lay us off..... or leave with nothing if I quit.

That paid medical is HUGE - especially if it covers your family as well. Plus, just because you take the package doesn't mean that you are ineligible for unemployment - Honestly, if you can afford to do it, I think I would take it - start looking for another job, or do temp work for now, focus on school, and then find a teaching job - You can easily temp and work when you want to work if your medical is paid. Realistically, you could walk out the door of your job, into a temp job the next day, and sock that 9 1/2 weeks of pay into the bank.

Kjenkins your making me laugh over here. Well i am energetic so i better get with the program and start the head top business again. What you say, dash it pon him without warning wen him asleep?!
Remember i have a child already so "I KNOW ITS NOT ME." Let me stop b/c i cant stand to hear some people say that. As ive been saying in due time. In the meantime i will be enjoying the rides.

Honestly - the fact that you have a child already means NOTHING - things change as people age / bodies change, etc.. = stress can effect fertility, illness, LOTS and lots of factors -

Sorry to hear that - BUT -

(1) You weren't thrilled with the job to begin with

(2) Everything happens for a reason - so maybe THIS TIME you will take this as a sign to get off your duff and focus on your photography business, and stop playing with dentists!

Justify the expense by Dividing it by Two strollers - and the cost over 5 years - if you bought a less expensive one, would you need to buy another stroller in a year or so? The Peg Perego Strollers (another good brand) like that are over $600 -

You can't blame yourself - all you can do is apologize and move forward - We all do it -

I ripped DJ up down and sideways the other night, knowing full well he's not been feeling well, etc... but I had a horrendous day, PMS, you name it, I had it and I needed to be the one taken care of - I feel awful about it, but you can't change it, you just move on -

I am glad you didn't take that the wrong way, Always - it's a hard thing to write and not offend, when it's such a sensitive topic - Plus, I am still in complete claaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat mode today, lol so my sensitivity skills are numb!

I understand your frustration, and hope things work out for the best -

On another note, I just want to say how much I appreciate the friendships that have been founded here - I had a situation yesterday with DJ where I got a call from a random person that he was in the hospital, I couldn't get in touch with family or trusted people that I know, didn't know what was going on - And I had yardies pouring out of the woodwork offering to send family, friends, or themselves to the hospital to find out for me. It was overwhelming, and made me truly appreciate the gift that this journey has given all of us - in addition to our spouses / SO (although at the moment, I am wondering if mine is a gift or a curse, lol!)

Morning all -

Always - I completely understand your frustration - The not calling and the soon come drives me nuts as well, and is definitely worth battling over and sticking your ground - although it does sound like one positive came out of it all - he got a job?

What concerns me is (1) you are pregnant and cannot be getting that upset or that stressed - it's not good for you or the little one. You need to try to sit down and talk it out BEFORE the next round of fighting comes - and come to terms with some working arrangement for both of you -

Secondly - why did you have divorce papers all drawn up? To me, that's a dangerous line to cross - Because something that you said or did in a fit of anger could really backfire on you - to me the D word is death - I believe in marriage for better or for worse, and if that word comes out I will mean it, no ifs ands or buts - But if you want to be married and want to work things out, I believe you have to truly be careful not to throw those words around in anger.

As for the DNA - I understand your frustration and reasons for doing the test, I might have done the same - But if the test comes back and the child is not biologically his, how are you going to handle that? How do you think he will feel to know that, if he has accepted the child is his - or how will he feel that you did the test when he said no? It takes nothing for a man to be a sperm donor - it takes a lot for a man to be a daddy -

i nearly fell on the floor laughing when you said the letter would be full of claht's. lmao . Seriously my husband and I had an interview and it was because the doc hadnt put on the forms he filled out something i had mentioned in my first medical, even though i told him. sometimes its just an adminstrative box to tick. Dont go Jamiban (jamaican+taliban) on them. lol.

thanks for every one of your well wishes and prayers, I thought it was so sweet. apparently my achilles tendon was completley shredded and it was an injury that had cumulated over years, so when i do start walking again i might find that side a bit short. just call me peg leg P. lol

the pain lasted most of last night and early today, its seems to have gone, so i'm real happy about that.I got the vicodin right hurr however. got my first bill from the hospital yesterday.. guess how much for>>>>>>>>>?????>>>>>>> $25 dollars!! I know more is coming but God is good huh.

xx

LOL, the claaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat letter would be mine!

No worries.. it came out just the way I needed to hear it. What kills me is that they already held us up in the NVC period for this I believe, I never really heard of anyone having an interview after it was transferred to CSC..... I m going to write a letter. I just think because their system wouldn't allow them to put a service request in, they just screamed interview.

If in fact we do have an interview best believe Im going with all barrels loaded. We have TONS of evidence proving the validity of our marriage!!! They need to be worried about me..not the other way around

Glad it came out that way - and I would offer to help you with the letter, but right now it would come out full of rassclaaat suck yuh mudda batti boi......... probably not helpful!

That attitude is exactly the one to have -

But why now? Why an interview this late in the game.. Im not comprehending this at all...Im disgusted  It amazes me how they have no problem cashing my dyam check but can't give me what the hell I paid for..

Sus, any imput on this?

Welcome to the efficiency of the US government - they'll gladly take your money for anything!

Honestly, I think that you might have gotten flagged for a stokes interview because of the age difference - It seems to be an indicator, from what I have seen, of marriages where they think it's fraud - Because they seem to find it impossible to believe that a young man could fall in love with an older woman - especially a man coming from Jamaica, a known fraud country -

Just go in there, hold your heads high, and make them look like fools by showing them the strength of your bond.

And if that came out wrong, I am sorry, not in any way trying to judge or infer anything, I just think that might be why you got an interview scheduled, as ridiculous as it is - but I am in the FOULEST mood today that I have been in in a long time, and am having a hard time with wording things -

Have a great day everyone!

Glad you had a good trip - Did you never get the card, or did he lose it? If you never got it, I would fill out that form and make an info pass appt and argue with them - because I believe that form has the huge fee attached to it to get the replacement card - if you never received it it's on them, not you -
