National Visa Center (Dept of State)	15 days now, no NVC case number	Yeah unfortunately nowadays NVC is taking like 30-45 days to generate case number. It's been that way since about January 2013, hope it changes soon to lesser time to wait. It use to take like 2 weeks. Just keep calling them every morning, noon, and nite until you get it. Then as soon as you get it log onto the NVC payment portal to make first generated payment. And have the beneficiary spouse email the authorization form that allows you to be authorized agent. DS-3032 form I think that's the number. That s not true for a fiancé visa ...your visa is different The average time for fance visa is 7- 10 days but now they are saying 15 working dys... There ave been only 2 people from the Texas transfers for ki to get number s... They keep telling me 15 working dys when I tell thm I have a fiancé visa ... Did u tell thm it was a fiancé visa It seems that everyone is getting the same either 30 to 60 days or 8 weeks response. I just received my approval on 6/28 and I am not sure if I should start calling them after the responses you all have been getting. It's true - even if your case status says : ready, it does not mean the embassy actually hase it already. My case is on "ready" almost 7 days. I contacted the embassy and that's what they replied : Dear Ms. Xxxxxxx: In reference to your inquiry, we have received the electronic, but not the physical file from NVC. After we receive the physical file, you will be contacted. They haven't entered it in their system yet I got this message 8 days ago but my embassy says they still not have it I got the same "Ready" status update last night! Case created on Jul 19th too. If you are referring to the e-mail that your case was sent to DOS then the standard response you will get even if you call NVC will be up to 8 weeks. Sorry to break the news but be prepared to hear this. If you are lucky, you may get a different response. I won't discourage you calling but do let us know what you find out from them !! So it can't be sent to the vsc. The sectors office is waiting r more details .... The vsc is or song to 2 day ail my whole case with seal to the nvc by weeks end I strongly suggest if you have a delay and you were a vsc to tsc transfer you make sure you file isn't in redtapeville I will keep u updated as I am told the senator office is to receive more info What else can go wrong now????????? I continued to say that I was dismayed to hear the nvc rep tell me this morning " the uscus us telling us you need to wait 8 weeks now". my senators confirmed that that is what the uscis is saying and is trying to find out why my file is still in Texas ( confirmed by senator) and why they are not releasing them in the normal time frame Wait a minute guys.  Zoroopa, you told us last week that you spoke to someone at NVC who told you that your case was in the building, but it just hadn't been assigned a case number yet.  So, if that's true then it's not possible that they're holding them at TSC for 8 weeks.  The consensus thus far when speaking to the customer service reps is that it will take UP TO 8 weeks to process them, not that they're holding them for 8 weeks before even shipping them out.  Angelina, could you clarify who it was that gave you the information that TSC is holding them? I have never heard ths 8 week thing from a rep when I called.. They have always said 15 business days lets see what happened when I call Monday I think next week the first ones are gonna get their case numbers. Remember there is a national holiday in the USA in the 4 th so this will day things I believe that the first two weeks of TSC approvals are sitting on the first floor at NVC all together...no case numbers issued yet...but I think this will change soon...Dustin your file was approved first, but was held until a large batch was sent out...By the end of next week I will find out if I am right...
