US Embassy and Consulate Discussionquick question on I-134
So when I fill out my annual income, which is 125% of the poverty line for four people (there are two of us). Do I need to list other property like my car? I don't have stocks bonds, life insurance, or real estate, and I prefer not to list my bank accounts. For evidence I am listing my merit raise notification, my pay stubs, and my tax transcript. Is this enough?

US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionCalling all Germans!
Well that makes me feel a little better. He said the rathaus said that lately it's been taking a little longer. Hm.. been practicing the forms we're supposed to get in packet 3. All countries visited in the last ten years? I mean really. But yeah I'm just anxious because it looks like Air Berlin stops having cheap one way tickets in the end of October.....

Ok, so my fiance went to the rathaus today to get some paperwork. And apparently they said the police certificate will take four weeks to obtain. Is this normal? I don't see how getting a piece of paper saying he has no police record will take four weeks.....

US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionInterview and Polic Certificate.
If you have an interview before you've received the police certificate requested. Does the consulate wait to issue the visa until they've received the police certificate? Or do they deny the visa?

US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionNumber of times visiting the us.
There's been nine trips in the past 7 years, 7 of which I have the records, 1 I have the entry date but not the exit date. And the last one I don't have the dates at all since the hole punch through his old passport goes right through the date. All I know it was december.

I forget which form, but on one of the forms for packet 3 they ask how many time has the fiance been in the us. I have rough ideas of some of his visits but not the exact dates as we no longer have the ticket stubs and his pasport doesn't have exit stamps. What should we write for those visits?

US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionGermany Packet 3
Ok, the instructions we received say to fill out DS-230 part I. But when we opened the PDF file, pages 3 and 4 are DS-230 Part II. Are we supposed to fill out this part as well? The instructions make no mention of part II.

I'm seeing conflicting info of whether or not it needs to be notarized.

Ok, we have everything except the police report, which has been ordered. Should we send in the checklist and get an interview date? Or wait until the police report is recieved. I figured if the interview is like a month away from when they recieved the check list, we should have the police report by then. I also need to buy airline tickets and get time off from work (which I can't without the date) so I can attend the interview. What do you guys think?

OK, and here I thought you were asking what I thought of hot dogs in a package of 10 and buns in a package of 8.

Well, you takes your chances. How reliable are they about getting you the police certificate? How relaiable are they in taking a month for the interview (and don't forget some time to translate the police certificate) so calculate your odds and roll the dice. Worst case, the interview comes before the police certificate and they hold the visa until you deliver the police certificate. If you can live with the worst case...I say go for it.

There's no need to translate the police certificate. We're basing the timeline off of other Germany members here on the board.

K-3 Spousal Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsAdministrative Review

A lot of cases get a 2nd interview. Call the NVC after week, and as often as you need to feel comfortable. NVC, will be able to tell you what is going on with your case (they see what the Embassy has on their computer).

Good Luck.

Hi I have a question: what is Touched, Touched , Touched?? and wat this mean??
