PhilippinesK2 Visa Question - Philippines

Louie,

No she was never married and once she was pregnant
his family had him move to another part of the Philippines
and they denied any involvement. She thus put no father
on BC as advised.

carl, first there will be no problem at all for your stepdaughter,as long as she has a passport and nso birth certificate!2 under Phil law and USimmigration if the mother was never married to the father, and the child is under 21yrs,the mother has automactically full rights and custody of the child under Phil law and US Immigration and can immigrate with the mother! They will do ytheir petitions together and they will have their interview together! You do not need the concent of the biological father for anything !yes you can do their medicals together, its first come first serve there so they need to check the days and times for this, they will pay for their medicals together the day of their medicals.i believe its 223.35 for your wife and 185.35 for your stepdaughter.yes you will pay the visa fee,for your fiancee and visa fee for your stepdaughter, but you can pay these both at the same time!in the future Carl, after everything is all said and done and your fiancee's and your stepdaughters visa's are approved and she recieves them from the 2go courier service the USEM uses for delivery,i think there is the final step for just your fiancee i belive to arrange for the CFO seminar and have her passport also stickered from them then its all done this i believe cost only 500peso's one peice of advice if you dont mind help your fiancee prepare for these differant appointments as she will most likely have to get up very very early for most of these,,on the days of these appointments making sure she has money for the fee's but also its important she has for fare back n forth and also for drinks and snacks in between the waits, good luck to the three of you,you can ask me anything anytime.weve been waiting ourselfs me,my wife and two stepdaughters under a cr-1 and cr-2's since july 5 2012 for our petitions to be approved pretty soon though i think godbless ps all payments are made in phil peso!

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresPost IV Bill question

Hey people

Just curious to learn from whoever may know - once you've paid the following:

$420 USCIS fee
$ 88 AOS fee
$230 IV Bill

Is there any monies paid to the consulate around interview time? Was always of the opinion that there was like a $900 fee to pay at some point to some establishment. And people have always implied that this process is super expensive, but thus far it seems relatively reasonable :/

Also I've gotten this far in the process and no one has so much as asked for a single photo of me and mine yet, does this only happen at interview stage.

Cheers,

Kelli

Kelli, theres absolutely nothing left to be paid to the consulate, the only real big thing now, besides little micelenous things, would be your plane fair, but my advice would to not book anything till after the interview gudluck n welcome to america soon

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresInterview Date
Hello Fellow VJers,Ever since Our case was completed on july 18 08,i was very persistant in calling the Nvc of course,to always find out the status of Our file! And at the same time calling Our Congresswomens office, locally and her Washington DC office on several differant occassions during this same time period!I was trying to expediate our case because of my Moms terminal illness all through the process,USCIS,VERMONT SERVICE CENTER,and then the NVC!(CR-1) Denied each step of the way, even though all medical documents and more than enough eveidence was provided to each!!! In the recent past 2weeks,this is what i have done and this is what has happened so far, After contacting our Reps local office the first time, with all docs and evidence, they wroteup a letter on our behalf and sent it to the NVC,while that was being done,i called NVC 2 days later, case was complete.I called our Reps local office again and informed them of this, they said they would now inquire directly to the Manila embassy on our behalf and was told if i didnt hear from them, meaning the local office,by aug,29 08,to call them back and inquire, neddless to say i was a bit outraged at this response, sounded like same thing from the other three entitys,USCIS,VERMONT,NVC!So i called our congresswomens Washington DC office!i explained the entire sitution to the gentleman who ansewered there of what weve been through as far as the process, not seeing each other for over a year, and my Moms terminal condition, being denied all along the way and now the response of the local office!!He said that he would inquire with the local office what was going on with our inquiry and status of our case! After 2 days of no response,i called back to this gentleman in the dc office,as to what was going on,after pleading with this gentleman,to have our congresswomen directly and personally inquire to the Nvc,but especially the embassy in Manila,to try and see if my wife could get an interview asap,he told me that the local office was handling it and there was nothing really more that can be done!I called him the next day informing him that threw her congressional website, along with pacific infromation, that i requested a personal meeting of direct phone call from her!!!!He told me that he would make sure, that my request would get to the right person, lol lol 2days later i recieve a direct letter from our Congresswomen sighned in ink pen by her that she hasnt yet recieved a reply from the manila embassy regurding HER INQUIRY on Our behalf, that as soon as she recieves a reply, she will contact me again, and to please allow the embassy 30days to reply to her inquiry, she says hope this info is helpful,i decided im not waiting on double talk to help us,after my own pleading to the nvc, them telling me theres nothing they can do,till the embassy lets them,i called the embassy my self,in short the immigrant visa unit person told after detailng our case and reason for want ing an early interview, told me ,that while they would really like to help, they have to wait for the nvc to send them the case.i informed her very nicely that was not true because the nvc had sent an email inquriy to the embassy to expediate an interview and also allow my wife to have a visa pickup, which was denied by you the embassy or else tey woulve sent you the case already,i asked true or false? She was very nice and looked up our case, and lo and behold the proof is in the pudding!I got the same response from her basically, but guess what happened the next day day when i called the NVC for an update,i was told by a very nice operator, that our file had left for the manila embassy the day before, that interview letters and instructions had also gone out, that i would probley recieve mine first as im here in the us and in CT,she even informed me that i could copy mine and give it to my wife,so she could have her medical done early,i then asked her if she could give me the interview date, and she said yes,it will be SEPT 23 AT 6:30AM ,sehe even told me sorry that it was so early that they would be extremely busy on that day and also that sorry it couldnt be sooner as the embassy informed them that is the earliest opening they have, she could not tell me about the visa pickup, but i would bet that this is also going to happen because of my pleading of my moms sitution and first through his son Jesus ALMIGHTY GOD GODBLESS TO EVERYONE AND MAY JESUS HELP EVERYONE IN THEIR VISA SITUTION

Hi All My Vj friends, first Me and My Wife Bel,would like to thank all of you for being here and being so helpful to us,and to all others!!! My questions are this, hope someone can help! When dialing Delbros from here in the US what is the exact way to dial to reach them to find out if they have informed the embassy and to find out from them(Delbros)if they have recieved request from the embassy and where We might stand in the verification process! Also how do I from here in the US,correctly dial the number,to speak with Grace,to find out from her and the embassy, that they have started and or completed our verification process!Last question,How do I correctly dial the number To the NSO,looking for Richard,to find out from the NSO,if they have recieved from the embassy any verification requests in our case and if so has it been done and sent back to the embassy already?Any help to Our questions would be from the heart, greatly appreciated,by the way My wife Bel has already confirmed with Delbros that they already recieve her fax of her recit, but nothing further, even after several attempts by me to contact them. Thanks in advance, and GODBLESS everyone in their journey to be with the one they love!!!!!!! IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresCR-1 Interview and Beyond
Hi All my fellow VJS ,first Godbless all of you in your journeys!I would like to ask a few questions if its ok and thank all of you in advance!! The first one is,I confirmed that the manila embassy has all the oringinals needed for Bel's cr-1 interview, she made two copies of all,in this way,as far as that she should have nothing to worry about,im i correct?Bel also has enough secondary eveidence of our Love and Marriage and of Our Family in the Phil,to start a new library,i also told her no need to worry about that etheir,im also correct on that point? Also as far as doc verification,i had Bel pay Delbros for that about 6weeks in advance, and confirm everything with Delbros including that they recieved her fax of the recit, later i confirmed with the Manila embassy! So again I told my Bel,not to worry, cause the Embassy confirmed for me that because, that doc verification would be done,if they chose to doc verification at all. Before her interview, and would be no need to worry about that, and if Bel passes her interview, which I know she will, with the help of Our Good Lord Jesus, she would get a pink slip for visa delivery, being that Our Family home there is only 45mins away,Delbros would deliver it within 3days time!So I told my Bel not to worry about this etheir!Bel,has already completed her CFO seminar and only has to bring her visa there to recieve her certificate!Does this sound correct and thanks for any help with those questions!!!My other questions are, because We both didnt want to cause any kind of delay, even for a second,i know you all could understand this,We did everything in Bel's maiden name and will change everything to her married name when We are together here!My question is,How We do we do this? And im assuming that once We recieve Bel's ss and gc,We should have those changed before getting a driving license and applying for a job?Thank you all in advance, and especially Godbless you all in your journeys!!!I wish Our Love and Happiness on all of you!!! IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresOur Minds and Hearts and Love for Each Other
Hope no one minds that I write this, We all have worries and apprehentions of Our lives, even though We have the Trust and Deep love of Our spouses! So I will say this,as it comes from My heart, and aplys to Me and My Bel,which she already knows!! God made Our Heartsand Minds,so who better to take care of both,in Our lives together! As Jesus said, look at the birds, they netheir sow nor reap, and yet!! God feeds them, how much more important are We!The Good Lord is telling Us,in this one statement, that to only Love each other,as He loves Us ,and all other things will be done without asking, because he already knows what We need!!!And as We gather here on visajourney and especially at the embassys around the world,at our interviews, and while We are there at the embassy, praying to him in our hearts, for our interview to go smoothly,We should keep the faith in him, that he is with us!As Jesus said, wherever two or more people are gathered in myname,i am there with you! My last thought on this is,if WE TRULY depend on God,the creator of Love,as my own Father told me,not 99% but 100% and trust in him for all things, including Our lives and goals in life, where is need for worry!! The Love We have for Our spouses and For all our k-1 friends future spouses, will only grow to unimaginable levels,if We just let God water it,the creator of Love!! IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresInterview Update
My Bel,oringinaly had an interview date of sept 23 6:30am 2008,CR-1.But after 2 direct inquiries from My CongressWomen to the Congressional Corespondence Unit-Immigrant Visa Counsler Section,USEM of about 30days ago.My CongressWomens office informed me by phone,on friday. That they recieved an email response to her inquires, from this paticular unit in the Embassy, she told me over the phone that they, moved My Bel's interview date to Sept 5 2008.She told me she would forward the email response from the USEM,to me which she did,ive alreay sent Bel 3 copies of this in an email. The email from Congressional Corespondence Unit-Immigrant Visa Counsler Section-says this In reply to your inquires, reguarding the Visa concerns ,of your constituent Louis xxxxxxx ,We have scheduled the applicant for a visa interview on Sept 5 2008. At that time a counsler officer, will determine if the applicant is eligible for a visa! Then it goes on about all the usual things, about preperation, ect! There is no time,in the response or any mention of which letter to bring,i mean the sept 23 interview letter or the copy of the sept 5 appointment stated in the email response from the USEM?So I told Bel to bring both when she goes there on sept 5 and to go at 6:30am as stated in the oringinal letter!Im also going to contact the USEM just to make sure that 6:30am would be correct? But i would like to ask my fellow journeyers,if my logic sounds correct in my advice to Bel?It also sounds like ,from talking to My CongressWomen, that while it is up to the counsler doing the interview, she couldnt say for sure, but they may allow Bel a visa-pickup!!! My heart truly goes out to all my fellow Vjers,i say this because,i know We are all on that special journey to be with our loved ones, which at times can be alittle heart wrenching, being apart so long and what seems a million miles physically apart, now that Almighty God has ansewered our prayers,i think not especially for Me and Bel,to be together alittle sooner, but to Get Bel here, before something happens to my Mom ,who has couregousely struggled with her terminal illness for so long, and being one of her prayers to meet Bel,I thank God for this, cause Mom recently made a statement ,I want to go and see God now!Since Our prayers have been ansewered,I must now do this,Please Almighty God,make your presence known,in all the lives of My fellow VJERS,to make their journeys short in being apart,so that one of your greatest gifts of all,LOVE!!!!Will continue to grow without end ,in all our lives!!! Through his son Jesus,Godbless all of you!!! Louie and Bel good.gif

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresCR1 PROCESSING TIME AT NVC
Attached File  scan2.JPG   147.63KB   97 downloadsAttached File  scan2.JPG   147.63KB   97 downloadsWe have abbandon thk god the k-3 process, which is stuck in a wormhole at vermont service center! At first when vermont changed our status to cr-1 by holding up on the i-129f for k-3s ,i was pretty upset at first, because i didnt understand what was going on,but now i do,and thk god it turned out this way!Everyone knows that when you do a k-3,you will have to adjust your status here in the US apply for an EAD among other things, which is causing a further backlog, threw the entire system! In the way their doing it,they will approve your i-130 first in most cases now pretty quickly,(ours in only four months)and then your at the NVC where all the processing will be done, before going to the embassy of your spouse. To me in this way they start out by having your file from the service center, where you filed with all of the documents, birth certificates, marriage certificate, copys of passports ect,you pay the fee bills send any information they require they review everything and can see you have a bonifide marriage and then complete your case, which is what the embassy of your spouse will recieve from the NVC here in the US!Your spouse is given an interview about 30 days after the case is complete,so they can get a medical, pass the medical and also re-making sure they will have everything they need at interview,at this point in most cases there shouldnt be to much of a problem of iv apporval and getting your visa next day pickup or in a few days by courier! After reading a lot of post here and seeing alot of simular timelines i can see that once your at the NVC as far as a cr-1 is things are moving pretty quickly! We recieved our Nvc case number on 4/23/08 about three weeks later our iv fee bill and aos fee bill were generated and on 5/5/08 Nvc sent them to our lawyer which our lawyer recieved both two weeks later. We have since sent payment for both which our lawyer will recieve tuesday morning by priority fedex. Our lawyer will send the payments immediately to the payment center in st louis. With all this said and knowing that the NVC is moving rather quickly What kind of time frame might We be looking at from that point to recieveing packet 4 with an interview date and time?Thks very much and godspeed to all!!!!111

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedurescan a K2 visa be processed at the same time as the K1?

Gary, he has never paid a dime of child support in the past. Is there a legally binding law in the Philippines that requires an unmarried father to support his children? If there such a law, and if it can be upheld, then maybe the thought of his waiving this responsibility in the future could carry some weight.

We filed the I-129F 6 months ago. I didn't consider this to be an issue since he has been so TOTALLY uninvolved with the child.

weather your doing a k-1 or cr-1 it doesnt matter about the children who are involved as long as the mother was never married to the father and the children are under 21yrs old under phil law and us immigration law they will be allowed to immigrate with mom as she has full rights n full custody under both you do not need the bioological fathers permission for anything period, even if his surname is on the childs passport it will not matter at all,all the way through the whole process including the interview!i would file for the child at the same time by having you and your fiancee put the childs name n info on the k-1 petition, they will automatically make the child a k-2 and process the petition as both they should have their medicals done together and they will be at the interview together you have the childs birth certificate from the nso get the child a passport before medical n interview which you can do and your good to go as long as you have the rest of the normal required documents theres no worries!!!!! any further questions happy to help

USCIS Service Centersi130 processing times

It depends on so much none of us have all the answers. I was trying to find the thread of the interview for you that a member had with an adjudicator. Really eye opening. Like one of the things he said, No they are not done in order. You may get a box of cases that are labeled January 2012 and you may get July 2012 yet people before them haven't even been looked at. Oh what when the manager says stop all I-130 petitions and switch to I-751 or I-129F's.

Also one of the things he said is how they get credit for every person on application so that immigrant being petitioned with the 1,2,3,4 kids thats a bonus point for each one so guess what they are going to do that file before the single one person.

Also your file very well could have been pulled and being adjudicated (Don't go by what the USCIS website says, it may never say "touched, updated) and well you may need extra looking into. Remember this is the background checks, interpol, FBI all kinds of stuff. Making sure that marriage certificate is good. So alot of behind the scenes stuff going on.

And yes some get forgotten put aside one adjudicator said you have some adjudicators check out a file and don't check it back in may have taken a day off or God forbid went on vacation. There's your file on their desk waiting for them and only them to check them back in.

if you could please find that thread would you send me a link to it dwhells76 man i would really appreciate thks in advance godbless

USCIS Service CentersFor All CR-1 July Filers
We have a priority date of july 5 2012 as of yet no noa-2 is it safe to say that all of us who are USC's citizens who filed our cr-1's and i-129f's are being put behind in our processing at the Vermont Service Center because of the deffered deportation applicants being processed there, which by the way a number of them have been processed and completed in less than 30days or is there some other reason why all of us USC citizens are being pushed back n being made to unreasonably wait to be with our familys and loved ones!(without an rfe)!how is it that it takes 5mths as the USCIS processing times show, that when we send our petitions, that once they are accepted, meaning,as your status will show on the USCIS check status page, along with the explanation at the bottom, that they have not only received, but have accepted our petitions, meaning that generally everything is there to proceed to the next step of initial review, and then once our petitions make it to initial review,it is stated there that they will be running security and backround checks on the petitioner which is the USC!They only review our documents that we send in with our petitions to make sure the required ones are there!why is it then that it should take 5mths to process our petitions?no legimate good reason i can think of!!!! Most people on here who are USC know that you can extensively check a persons backround online and get comprehensive results in no more than a day or two! With all respect to all my other VJER'S watch the lifelock commercial, where the CEO of lifelock, which is the number one company that protects you from identity theft, and in this he has an ex top american hacker kevin metnick, show three people that only with their full names and in 15mins(doesnt show the audience of course)but shows these three people from the day of their birth till their last credit card transaction, and all in between and the USCIS and My US goverment tells me it takes 5mths to do these things lol really?while there are literally thousands of people and businesses, landlords ect ect doing these backround checks everyday online, one of the excuses we get from the USCIS sometimes is because of volume we are delayed and go beyond the normal processing times if anyone in here thinks that is a legimate reason,go to lifelock or any of these companys that do exstensive backround checks, pay them 20 30 40 dollars not 420 like USCIS and have them do that backround check on yourself and youll get my point of all of this and how we are all being treated in reality from our goverment when we are only wishing to be with our loved ones!!! missing a gudmorning kiss and hug from our spouses being able to hug our childern and wipe away their tears when needed,to me in a way money does not matter that we need to bring our familys here it is the immoral inhuman and outragous way alot of us being treated by an entity of our federal goverment, that seems to think they are abouve the people, when in reality they work for us!!!!!!!!!! and should be in a timely manner responsive to its citizens! thk you fellow VJER;S for your time and Godbless you all in your journeys!!!!!!

USCIS Service CentersTracking your group on USCIS
i know this for sure using this tracking system is that i can see that the vermont service center has already approved some cr-1 petitions which i believe are expediate from being military, but i see something hopeful also that they have as far as cr-1 cases have already sent out two rfe's in two early july cases from july 1 n july 3 and the july 3 cr-1 is the last case they have touched so far and the tracking after july 3 continues with cr-1 cases starting july 5 which are still in initial review!i take this to mean for what ever reason that at least two cr-1 cases that are not expediated as they have rfe's that have pd dates of july1 and july 3 that someone in vcs service center has dipped into cr-1 cases that are not expediated, hopeful but who knows! i also tracked cases of differant kinds that all have priority dates of july early and later in july and some are already approved while some are in the post decision column.ive gone backward by 200 from my pd date and can see many cases from later july of differant kinds and gone forward maybe by 20 and can see that all cr-1 cases from july 1 to july 5th are between 282 and 300 i dont know what all this means but ill delve into more and try and clarify it,
