USCIS Service CentersWhat happend to CSC?

Did you get that from any specific source that you can share with us CSC Filers or have you only heard whispers of such a delay?

I read it in one of the forums here, this is exactly what he posted:

Posted 10 January 2013 - 08:51 AM
Hi everyone, a bit of bad news if you filed a K1 with the California Service Center,
I called them in regards to possibly expediting my case due to a medical emergency,
a very friendly supervisor explained that they are running at least EIGHT weeks behind for June,
July, August and September filers, and that their anticipated NOA2 approval time is now a minimum of seven months.
Apparently most of the adjudicators have been pulled to deal with a backlog of Obama's Dream Act cases
allowing children of illegal immigrants to obtain access to work permits which they have been flooded with,
just bad timing I guess. All K1's filed in Spring of 2011 were approved within 100 days.
I'll update this info if I hear back from them in regards to my expedite request, but plan on a minimum of seven months for a NOA2.

USCIS Service CentersSenator's response about USCIS

He contacted his senator because the new timeline are now 6 to 8 months because of the back log Obama has caused with the illegal amnesty act. So you can thank out Wonderful President for making everyone's life miserable.

lol at your comment, I couldn't agree more.

USCIS Service CentersReasons for K1 slow down
I totally understand the July filers frustrations. I hope you all get approved soon!!!! Best of luck guys, try to stay your cool. I feel upset about that DACA as well seeing all those thousand JANUARY 2013 APPROVALS, while we on the other hand have to experience all this long agonizing wait, can't believe we're still stuck at JULY 2012 petitions. Posted ImagePosted Image I'm an October filer BTW, and doesn't have any right to rant about it yet, I know..I just feel that it's unfair for DACA filers to get all those approvals so fast. - Amber

USCIS Service CentersCSC??????

Don't get too excited about seeing 4 approvals yesterday. 3 had RFE's and 1 was expedited or at least I know they were trying. It is still great to see something happening at CSC rather than days of nothing.

Oh I'm not:) I'm just happy and not being bitter for those who got approved:) Posted ImagePosted Image
I am also aware of the RFE's one of those filers who got approved that has an RFE is a Filipina and a friend with my friends who are also from Vermont, so yea.I'm aware and know.Posted Image

I am so happy to know that there's a lot of approvals today. It's good news, no approvals at all will make everyone go nuts! At least now we know CSC is moving

USCIS Service CentersCSC??????

I can not believe all the people here that are complaining about waiting six months or less, really. You have no idea what the definition of waiting is especially when i am nearing the 400 day mark with no NOA2. Everyone needs to take a deep breath and wait their turn and realize that you will not get approved overnight.

Oh my goodness! Posted Image I hope you get your NOA2 soon, like now. I can't imagine how frustrated you are, anyway hang in there my friend good news is on your way I hope.

According to someone on here that got a letter from their congressman today CSC is running at 9 months, so I'd expect another 6 to 12 months of waiting minimum.

USCIS Service CentersI CSC moving AGAIN?

If you look at the immigration timelines list instead of Igor's list I count at least 8 Sept NOA2s not simply "ONE". So before you tell people they are sending out wrong info, make sure you check your own facts first.

LOL!! Of course there is, all other months there's always approvals who got their NOA2's quick cos most probably of expedite but if you do backread on page one (highly suggest you read again), you will notice we are talking about the approvals for this month. without being expedited, LOL @ your reply.Posted ImagePosted Image just so you know, you're NOT the only person frustrated here, I feel so sorry for all the July, August, Sept and Oct filers who are still waiting and always get disappointed whenever there's an approval from later months. Don't get me wrong, this isn't Nov-Dec's fault and I'm happy for them who already have their NOA2s, for no one/ no person should experience this depressing heartbreaking wait.

It is CSC to blame, no one else; cos they're the one's doing all this crazy random approvals for the month. ALL SHOULD BE FAIR, the ones who filed first are the ones who should be approved first, I'm all about equality, I hope CSC would fill in the July month first then August, then September, then October before they start giving approvals for the later months.

This will be the last time I will reply to this thread. I feel like I'm gonna puke, it's too early in my country to get upset. I'm not gonna spoil this beautiful day! God Bless everyone, I hope to see normal approvals soonPosted Image

I am the beneficiary

USCIS Service CentersI CSC moving AGAIN?
LOL @ "most of them are from Sept-Oct filers and SO MANY of them are from Sept-Oct".

Seriously?? Where are you people getting all that? I know July-August filers are depressed and frustrated, I understand that and I honestly feel your painful agony towards this, BUT will you people PLEASE stop spreading rumors and wrong informations?? Cos I don't see any approvals for October. I've seen ONE approval for September, BUT you can't call that "most and so many" LOL! If I'm not mistaken, last months approval for October was an expedite and there are "no" so many and most of them approvals for Sept-Oct on that month also, there are few but not SO MANY, LOL! Be careful with your words. A lot of Sept-Oct filers will be upset with you guys if you keep on saying that, some people here are starting to believe your wrong infos.Posted Image

I attached a screenshot of Igor's List, see for yourselves if you see many approvals for Sept and Oct, I'll be more than happy to see if there's at least one LOL!

So after the long wait I called customer service yesturday and asked about the letter that I requested!! then he drop the bomb and told me that there's nothing in the computer stating that I requested any thing.....am I crazy??...did I make this up??so anyway I give him the same info that I gave the other guy 2 weeks ago....then he's gonna tell me that I wont receive the letter until 5-7 buisness days

I DONT HAVE 5 OR 7 DAYS... crying.gif crying.gif crying.gif I was trying to control myself it was soo hard!! Im furious at this point because I don't have anything but the checks showing both names and same address Im not sure if that will be enough

Army Wife....it is possible you will need a waiver for the overstay. If that is the case, they will tell you at the interview and you will have to deal with it from there. No worries until someone gives you a reason to worry.

I'm going to agree with the other ladies on the intent thing. I think your timing will prove to be just fine. I don't believe you have a thing to worry about there.

I'm also going to agree with the other ladies on the tightening the belt thing. Good times and bad times come and go.....just hold on tight....everything works itself out.

Marlita....she's beautiful.

Thank you Jomo.....was I suppose to fill out the I485 supplement and pay the $1000 penalty fee instead of the regular I485?

Evening, all - I left work at noon today, went and got a spa pedicure, then came home and took a nap! I woke up and watched the Bucket List - incredibly sweet movie if you haven't seen it.

Congrats, Auntie Marlita, she's adorable! And I agree JAEng, the pics of your son just get cuter and cuter!

Gill, I agree with you about loving hearing the good stories - I am going to a baby shower next week for a friend who married a JA man on a K1 - they have been married 5 (I think) years, just bought a house, and this is their second child. She is a constant inspiration to me to have faith.

Welcome Army wife - I think you should be fine, as JAEng said - If your overstay was less than one year, then you should be able to adjust no problems - if it was greater than one year, you might have to file a waiver for the overstay - But I know people who have done similar and now have their green cards (not from JA).

Hope everyone has a good weekend - any plans?

I heard something about if the marriage was after more than 60 (or 90?) days in the country, the USCIS would automatically assume there was no intent to marry beforehand.....
I don't think she needs a waiver, I think those are for people abroad.....

I know she'll be just fine smile.gif

it is a big change as I lived in New york since I came in the US n recently moved to Colorado....where I live in the springs is not bad at all, I thought it would just be alot of mountains n tried grass but Im actually liking it here...Our final destination will be in Georgia as it is very nice n homes are not as expensive out there.....

My understanding of the waiver is that it will come after the interview - Don't worry about it unless they bring it up. One of my best friends is from Scotland - she overstayed a B visa by 17 YEARS and is a greencard holder, lol - anything's possible.

Thanx JaEnglish...I appreciate the advise...even though I entered in 2006 n married a year later would that be consider as 'Intent' n I did met my husband while visiting!...I'm just worried

Nope - Intent would be when you were in a relationship with your husband, came to the US on a visitor's visa, but used that intending to get married and stay - What you had happen is fate, not intent!

Ok I'm getting a better understanding of this whole "intent" thing!!...thanx once again for ur respond

Hello Yardies..

How ya'll doing?? my name is Shellyann (NO not the one RedRat sing 'bout)..lol!! from St.Thomas JA, residing in Colorado Springs, CO..

I am new to this sight n hope that I can just jumpin'

I have a question that I would like to ask n hopefully someone can shed sum light on it!!

Long story short...I came here in March 2006 on a B2, got married in Dec.2007 n file for AOS in March 2008. I got the letter for an 'initial' interview July 2008 but I'm worried that I will get denied because I'm adjusting from a tourist visa...

Is there anyone here thats adjusting from a B2??....
Do you guys think I'm worrying over nothing??

please any advise/enlightenment will be appreciated!

As long as they cannot find grounds that your INTENT when you entered on the B2 was to get married and remain here, you will be fine!!

Welcome!

Hey ARMYWIFE, welcome, unfortunately i cant be of much service too you as i am still in the early stages of filing. You will find excellent advice on here from the ladies, but it seems it is pretty quiet in the evenings on VJ in the yardie thread, you may get an answer here or there, during the day you will get many answers to your questions. so dont feel bad if you dont hear much tonite. I have found around 9 in the morning up until about 3 it is pretty busy and lively. Anyway, welcome to VJ!

Thanx HONEYCHILD,

Asia: East and PacificShould I convert to Islam in USA or Indonesia?
I wish I could be more helpful with sources but I will try my best; like you I was confused before about where to convert. To be honest I have not yet fully converted (reciting in front of Imam and witnesses, etc), I have only practiced. Before I went to visit my fiancèe, I planned to convert in my home town. I don't live in a big city so finding a mosque close by is difficult. Anyway, the advantage of converting in the USA, I believe that the certificate will be in English so when you visit Indonesia to marry her you don't have to translate it using an authorized translator because the Civil Office (KUA) requires the documents to all be in English if you aren't Indonesian. If you use translator you have to wait for 2-4 days for the documents to be legalized. So the advantage of converting in the USA is less waiting for official English documentation and the advantage of converting in Indonesia would be having your fiancèe or any of her family to help you and be a witness.

I hope this helps, good luck.

Greeting all,

I am about to get Certificate of Good Conduct and one of the requirements is introduction letter from the employer. I am Indonesian but has worked in Malaysia for more than a year. May someone gives me a light what the introduction letter from employer looks like? Is it the same with the letter employment that I signed when I joined the company?
Your help is much appreciated.

Thank you.
