K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	has anyone gotten married on the VWP	Even if it all goes to plan and he does get a visa to live with you, as long as he keeps his original nationality he can be called up for military service no matter where he is in the world. He is still a citizen of that country and they will still expect him to fulfil his duty to the country should there be a crisis. I hope you can help me understand as i am so worried after I just got his ITR and when i checked it didn't reached the 125% for 4 household..  We applied for k1/k2 visa and our interview schedule is for next month at Manila US Embassy. He is living alone in his apartment but i have two k2 and that would make it four including me?  My question is do we need to reach the 125% poverty level good for 4 households or is 100% be okay? On his itr he reached the 100% but need just a lil bit more to reach the 125%.  I am so confused if we need a joint sponsor or will it be okay? Long as it wasn't a big issue and they don't think you are just fishing to come to the US you should be fine. But You may just have some extra questioning. Long as previous petition was withdrawn and all clear you should be okay. Hello Everyone,   I would like to ask if a previous B2 (Tourist Visa) denial 5 yrs ago and a previous K1 visa (Cancelled) 4 yrs ago will affect my K1 visa now? I am just worried cause my interview will be on October!   Also On DS 156 number 31 "have you ever been refused a U.S visa?" K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	I-134 not enough income of k-1 petitioner	Hi all!!   Would there be any way for me to get approved on my visa interview if my fiance's W2 shows he doesn't meet the income for household of 5? He earns  about $25,784 annually and it requires that he has $27,570 for household of 5. Is there any way his mom be a co sponsor since they live in the SAME household. I've read that the US Consulate in Manila does not allow co sponsors for K1. What do we need to prepare?   I want to cry now..i called the Immigration Visa Unit and they said it will just be denied bec of insufficient income and that i'll be public charge..I don't know what to do anymore..We even have an immigration attorney, if we get denied we just wasted money for nothing... K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	I-134 not enough income of k-1 petitioner	K1 visa has only the 100% poverty guideline requirement...double check... Hi Chuck&Jade, now this is confusing about the income  requirement. I read comments and posts  that 100% is the required requirement for fiance Visa but during the interview the consul would ask for 125% and seen some who got 221g cause they didn't reach the poverty level of 125%. Which i am a bit nervous now, My fiance have no dependents/children. He petitioned me and my 2 kids so that would make it 4. (Me, Fiance and 2 kids) On his ITR he got $28, 844 so we exceed the 100% for 4 but slightly short to reach the 125% poverty level which is $29, 439. Now I would like to ask if were okay? Many people come here on a tourist/work visa, knowing full well that want to marry a USC that they have known for awhile. And then apply for AOS. As stated before this is Visa Fraud. At the interview, the CO's are well trained in figuring this out. One wrong answer or a slip of the tongue and you are dog meat. This is why many people here may have a hard time, get RFE's or just outright denied.
