K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	November 2009 K1 CSC Filers	Hvala, hvala!!! I was thinking it's kind of weird you still haven't received the hard copy of the RFE. I would say your fiance should have received it already. Mail is slow here, but not that slow. Perhaps it will arrive early next week. He hasn't moved or anything, right? And there were no major delays in receiving the NOA1? I am really hoping you guys receive the hard copy ASAP so you can get on with the process. I've seen on the timeline's that there is a pretty quick turnaround for the NOA2 once you submit the additional evidence. @JohnAnwesha - No, we don't receive text/emails for touches. At least, I did not. I am crazy and check the website a million times a day. We have one more full week left in Feb. Hope CSC is mega-productive!!! sorry to butt in... but I recently understood why mail seems so slow sometimes. When USCIS or your consulate etc. says they mailed something, it often means it was sent to the mailroom, where it will be mailed in batches. So even though something was sent to be mailed on one day, the stamp on the enveloppe might show it was actually mailed 5-6 days later. Hope this helps. I bet you'll get it in the next few days. I was just looking at the USCIS webiste and found the chart that shows how many petitions they received and how many they completed: For Sep. 09 there were 1994 receipts and 2914 completions (I 129F). If you compare it to the Visa Journey people you see that there are only 80 couples registered with their Noa 1 in September and in September there were about 90 petitions approved. So that's a huge difference compared to the 'real' numbers. And it hopefully means that CSC is working hard on approving many other petitions. Good luck to everyone. It will be soon. Hmm I just checked out that section of the USCIS website showing the progress of the I-129F's that were filed in Sept. and realize they still have a long way to go. I was happier thinking the people here on Visajourney were the only ones that filed instead of the thousands of couples that actually filed lol. I think they were just moving it from one desk to another honestly, I have no clue why, but it was scanned and probably put at the bottom of the pile. The NOA2's will come! or RFE's will come ... eventually. Files are put in storage boxes after the initial processing (cashed cheque etc.). Haha! its true that I can see how monday would have been a slack day... coming back from a 4day weekend sucks. Maybe they'll try to catch up during the last 3days of the week... I really wish I could be a fly on the wall and at least know what they are up to. Are they even thinking of processing K1s??? Are our all files still in storage?? All this speculation is driving me crazy. Yeah! I look at my junk email too!! I'll tell you, when I get emails in the evening, my heart sometimes freezes for a second as my brain processes who it's from.
