I really don't have a clue how long the process is taking and how much time we would have before we leave.  About a year as I said and then you could easily fudge it to 2 years. There have been quite a few discussion on this subject on I2US.   The Lawyers there do not like people having a go on the basis it slows up everybody.   I think it is unrealistic for individuals to think like that no matter how remote the chance is.   There was a comment that due to the increased numbers of Expedites being sought, they are being considered less generously.
