Sonjat I was sent a check list on the 11th of last month to redo the new I-864, I did what they said and returned to documents which they recieved on the 13th but to this date they still have not reviewed the documents....so im just here being humble and wait, I get tired of calling its affecting my health which hasnt been good lately, in the past two months i've done one MRI and two ultra sounds, i'm currently on 6 different medication and is constantly crying I need my husband here with me....its getting harder for both of us to cope, but its out of our hands so we just wait.....    Hi lisap i am also in our stage, we got checklist on june 13th for i-864 and we mail it next day but still they dnt review,i am sick of calling them and my health too getting worse.i miss my husband.	neto123	Not Telling	Sri Lanka	2013-07-03 11:27:00

The only email I recall is for you to receive is your interview appointment. For you to know for sure if 864 went computerized is to keep calling. When this happened it takes maybe 2 weeks later to send you an email interview appointment. NVC needs to check with your embassy and see when they schedule appointments.   Once i-864 and DS 230 got finalize NVC never send an email saying both the documents is fine and we completed your case at NVC or we will let you know interview date?    you dnt get such email? how did you come to know your case is completed at NVC?By calling them?	neto123	Not Telling	Sri Lanka	2013-07-03 11:20:00

Clicking on various places and started reading. This helps. Your embassy has a site just for your purpose. You can find out when to get your medical done, what vaccination you need, the cost of it.... You might even read something about interview questions.... What documents to bring to your interview.... NVC will check with your country embassy to get you and interview date.   I think mine taking 10 days to check for interview date, and 6 weeks until interview date....from date everything was finished/computerized at NVC.   Readerchoices MIL has interview in 14 days. Every day can change the answer....look....you called today. Now they have 10 am...still all day someone can work on your 864 and computerize it in the evening. I already had kids. My second husband gave me hell. I already had the unconditional. But he just wasn't nice. It can become a really tough life for some.   Some don't understand that when children are involved its even harder. Just because you have a baby doesn't mean you get to stay. But it helps when their is a checklist issued, giving us a little advance notice. And of course we feel by calling that we have done something.   I kept my question really short. "Please check if my 230 is in your computer", when they actually told me YES, I asked if I had a checklist, which I did.
