then it means that the extra digit is the quantity of the visa with one case number
my wife she just got the visa and she has the 01 extra with the nvc case number and it simply means that they issued only one visa with that case.

In my case my alien no# in my visa has one no# incorrect like they print Axx659 but when I had my aos interview the officer couldn't find my case and when he checked my visa and compared it to the files from the brown envelope he realized that my alien no# should be Axx459 so how would I know right? I'm not allowed to open the brown envelope lol. But it wasn't a big deal he said. He just made correction and now my GC alien no# is ok

wish u a happy trip and smooth poe. i was alone too coming here for the first time and i also had multiple connecting flights mnl-hk-sanfran-denver.
as for the the clerical error on your visa, id say its not a big deal. BUT that's just my opinion. its because my visa has an error too... they double the name of my husband eg: john smith john (but his name is only john smith) and i was worried and raised this question to the forum and a lot of members back then who had the same issues told me that as long as my/your name on the visa is correct then it should be fine. my alien number on my visa was wrong too lol... i didnt know it until my aos interview... but if calling the embassy makes you feel better, i suggest you should coz they absolutely know the answer for you... in my observation, some got lucky w/ out having an interview regardless if its K1 or K3... and perhaps depending on ur local uscis office... or to be honest uscis has a weird system lol... i had an aos interview before and lasted 5 mins of asking a yes or no questions (like if ur a terrorist or entering as illegal immigrant etc) and photocopying my passport... the rest were just small chit chat...
a bunch of members here on VJ didnt go thru an interview and i call them LUCKY hehehehe

I texted him "why u lie to me. Be honest .Where are u really. The hotel front desk connfirmed u werent there". He replied," I am in hyatt why u keep saying I am not here where I am really here." Something is fishy about it.

The reason to my gut he wont tell me. HE IS WITH SOMEONE ELSE that NIGHT. He wont give any details on his whereabouts and he blamed me on eveyrhting.


i really felt sorry for this to happened. im no expert but perhaps its best to settle this in person... give him time (regardless if he's cheating or not) coz the more u confront this issue thru chat or text the more he'll use this against u... maghahanap kasi ng excuse no matter how lame the excuse is. that threat he gave u is just a defense mechanism. ipapalabas ikaw ang mali... i hope God will give u strength and guidance...

Yes its real even my self can't believe that they filed for K1, and when I spoke to his husband he really don't understand my point and I feel like he's saying I am scaring her wife, I am just trying to help, I think this couple had no Idea about the visa processing, and I am really fell sorry for them I wish I can do something for them. I don't think I can advice them to cancel there petition, they are both excited about the Approval,..

If the marriage is valid and was registered in the Philippines Marriage Registry, she could definitely be denied. I think they should definitely cancel her K1 application.


I wish it just easy to say that Cancel there K1 Application and filed for K3 or CR-1 and to make clear about the lawyer what I understand is they ask the lawyer if they can file a K1 rather than K3 for a quick processing and the lawyer said yes, and now they can't contact the lawyer that's why they ask me what is next thing to do after they receive there Manila case number, and I said to her that she wait a letter from Embassy so she can call for an Interview, and that's where I saw on the paper she's holding that She was under fiance visa and it surprise me, I like to advice to visit this website but i didnt get a chance because he was very angry.. so I just leave but for sure my friend will be here tomorrow,.. and I can show to her what the advice given to them.


here's the thing, even a "fake-marriage" is a a no-no (what i mean about fake-marriage is when you dress up as if there's a wedding just for the sake of the family)... im not saying its against the law. but if somebody take a picture of that party and send it to the embassy, it will raise an eyebrow to them... much more a REAL wedding??? like NSO phil govt registered??? and it will actually show on the cenomar??? that's a recipe for disaster!!! seriously tell your friend that a recent cenomar is somehow important to the embassy and if she opt not to present it to hide the evidence, there's a big chance that they will ask for one, and i finding out that she's actually married then thats VISA FRAUD. i cant believe the lawyer doesnt know how visa fraud will affect the couple... banning for life is one... i wish they will file for cancellation and to think K3 isnt really that bad of a wait...

its possible... just be at prism or st mary's (wherever is convenient) early in the morning or as early as you can i think prism have 10:30 sked? so by afternoon you can just head to the CFO and get your passport stamp... would have been better if you have another extra day to be safe but a day to spare is still possible since a lot of folks have done it.

are you in the states right now? im from cdo and we had a problem buying domestic flights mnl-cdo last yr because they wont take international CC... i called cebu pacific they said its best to have a family from cdo that would buy us the tix and just scan it online for us... and or you can be a chance passenger and buy the ticket at the airport... we did that once too and we got lucky... good luck!!!

My wife was told she would become sterile last year by a doctor.

We had a post going about Birth control in PI on Living In Cebu Forums and other said there Fiance was told they would become sterile if they practiced BC.

If you come from a fast pace city in PI like Manila or even Cebu I can see more girls using BirthControl, but the girls from the Provinces are still be told and brained washed that BC can and will cuz them to become sterile......


I came from the province ( Mindanao) and believe me we are very well updated when it comes to BC.

Your wife is just one person, don't think all provincial ladies are so naive and stupid to believe that BC can cause sterility. I for one came from the province and never heard of such a thing.

visited 2 obgyn in phil and the only thing they warned me about are the side effects when using contraceptives (they're actually written at back label on every bc you'll buy)

We're from Alaska. Interior. Live in a log cabin in the woods. Millions of acres of wilderness outside the front, back, and side of the cabin.

This is a little better idea of the size of moose coming into the yard. My wife is five feet tall and 82 lbs (before becoming pregnant). The hot tub deck here behind this moose is five feet. This moose is probably 1200 lbs or so. But they get up to 1800 lbs:

We see moose in the yard pretty often. Occasionally bears. I had to shoot one trying to break into the cabin. Not the one in the picture above. It was a black bear trying to break in. Wolves you never see, but they come in and steal anything they can eat if it is a bad year for them food-wise.

She saw five moose a few days ago working on the airplane. Lots of sandhill cranes too.

But in the summer it doesn't get dark for three months.

stayed at bayview for my interview also and some other occasions... tip for cheaper food: dont eat inside the hotel [except for their free bfast deal] for a small meal i paid P700 for lunch and not even worth it... there's chowking and yellow cab outside of the hotel and much more...

we took the regular taxi as well... P200 for a taxi is not bad even if thats over priced compared to P500-800 hotel taxi... just my opinion

It's normal for slec to take the passport. What she need is a valid ID for her to get in. I had my school I'd back then. As for the police clearance it's all up to CO. Hoping they will overlook on it. Good luck!

yes... there's a record from slec (vaccination sheet) that will tell the doctor what type of shots should be given...
MythaG: just present that sheet from slec to any qualified doctors you wish to get a shot from, and or i had my shot from a health clinic/center in our area and it didnt cost a thing (as i remember)... since your a CR1 i believe there's no pressure as to when you can do it since you're done w/ the AOS... (IMHO)

this is just my personal opinion:

perhaps what her friend meant is more of a guiding-you-thru-the-whole-process kind of thing... i can honestly say we did hire someone to helped in our K1 journey. i never heard of VJ before and we were a member on a certain forum then, where my husband met mr. ray bacon who i believe an expert to the K1 process. we paid a small amount of fee (compared to hiring a lawyer). dont get me wrong, but you dont have to hire one. as long as you have the patient and to never get overwhelmed on the details plus having this forum (VJ) as a back up, you should be good (considering if your case is nothing out of the ordinary)... my husband was so busy w/ his business and travels a lot so he never had the time to gather things up, so he hired him to helped him w/ all the steps and what to fill in and how to fill it and we just sent all our papers to him and he organized it and he sent it the USCIS... we also hired him to do our AOS... i know, i wish we were more resourceful then. but no regrets since we got approved. i found VJ during our K1 and i keep on reading and reading and realized this is a very good source of information (most of the time lol) coz you can get different kind of advices and experiences plus different scenarios for those who attended the interview... if you think you need one then P3,000 is not a bad price at all, assuring he can proof read everything and no loopholes once you send it to the USCIS... otherwise stick around in VJ and you've become more of an expert itself by just reading and doing it hands-on.

i actually saw this news yesterday lol (im currently in phil right now) and i was saddened by it. but not surprised at all on how some women do this as their modus operandi or scamming act...

7-8 yrs ago (my college days) i had this friend online, i think i met him on yahoo chat and "we're not dating or something" but he mentioned he met a girl from phil and they're seemed getting serious about each other. of course i said, great blah blah blah, giving them support. he's so proud of his gf that he showed me the pic of the girl... and I WAS IN SHOCK! lol... the girl in the picture was Patricia Javier (a sexy filipino actress, known for her FHM post and sexy movies) so i asked him if his serious or not or just kidding coz somehow i sensed that he was being scammed and or even if its really the actress, then the girl is a two timing ###### knowing she's dating an actor/model/host marc nelson at that time... (i know im very updated w/ this showbiz thing lol)... of course this friend of mine on the net was very serious about this girl and just to find out that she was fake and perhaps just scamming him for some money... oh well... just glad i let him aware to be careful and all next time...

edit to add: i am not sure if this is a woman or not... just basing it on the name on the news... since we havent seen her "real" face yet, perhaps its not fair for us women to assume she's a girl lol... salamat
