Philippines	Soooooo	speaking of regla, i think i have the worst dysmenorrhea every month talaga hanggang sa nag take ako ng birth control pills (when i got married) at medyo hindi na talaga painful... dati kasi halos mahihimatay na ako pag first day ko at ang lakas ng flow... hindi ito biro, pag medyo grabe na talaga ang sakit akala ko katapusan ko na and mag ask talaga ako ng forgiveness ni Lord sa lahat ng mga kasalanan ko. i really thought end of the world na talaga for me. at ilang beses na nangyari yun. hehehehe i think any day from now period ko nanaman... btw, 11 ako nun... mga midnight ata ng gabi medyo may napansin akong dugo. syemre alam ko na ata na eto na! pero i told my mom kina umugahan na. sabay bulong "ma, dalaga nako" hehehe then bili sila ng napkin ginamit ko whole day, ni isang patak, walang pumatak!!! Philippines	passport	Do I need to renew my passport to go back in the Philippines? Last year I went home but my passport is not amended they asked me why ?I said I do not have time?. I want to go back again this year but my passport is not amended and the expiration is on 2011. Please any advice if I can renew my passport even it?s too early? hi! u got married in the US i believe? did u report it already? i used my old passport (maiden name) when i went to phil last nov 2009 and the ticket was in my married name, and the lady at the airport asked me if its amended already i said no but i reported it already and here's a copy from the consulate blah3x. then she reminded me to have it amend otherwise i'd keep explaining my situation to the airline officer etc... anyways i got a new passport last dec... went to the NSO and applied for marriage cert then presented it to the DFA together w/ my old passport... 15 working days later i got my new passport edit to add: u have to report your marriage first before you can apply for a new passport in phil. that way NSO has a copy of your marriage and will register it in their agency... Philippines	POE	Hi, My fiancee will fly into San Fransico on Saturday night the 30th, are there any fees at the POE? I haven't read about any but I just wanted to make sure. Thanks. I am aware that she will probably have taxes and fees to pay in Manila at the airport, I just want to make sure there are no fees to enter the US at the POE. Philippines	Passport renewals after marriage (before applications)	This is good knowledge! So it means I can still renew under my old name for now then just file an ROM within a year of the marriage, correct? why not do it both at the same time? way easier!!! i chose not to change/renew my passport here in the US because i have to appear in person, i live here in colorado and my consulate would have to be in san fran, means time and money... i just reported it (by mail), that way since we regularly go to phil for a vacation (yearly) i just thought to have my last name change there, which i did w/ no trouble (pertaining your marriage is already reported)... so its up to u. report your marriage by mail or do it together when you renew your passport (bring marriage cert and other important docs needed) ~these are just my thoughts and understanding. good luck!~ Edited by RonMay, 29 January 2010 - 06:16 PM. Philippines	Passport renewals after marriage (before applications)	Hi, I am from Philippines under L1 visa working in MN and I just got married to a US citizen (my husband) a week ago. My passport is about to expire in a few weeks (visa still valid till next year), and I know that I need to get the passport renewed in the consulate somewhere in Chicago. We are also under the process of getting an immigration lawyer to start paperwork for AOS. I am wondering if there is an ideal timing for me to get my passport renewed, could I do it even if the AOS hasn't started yet or will it be better if I renew when the AOS has been filed. Does it make any difference if I file it before or after the paperwork has started? Take note that I have changed my name upon marriage. I just want to avoid redundancy in processing - do I have to renew under my new name, or will I still use my original name? Hopefully this forum could get me some answers. Thanks. K@ this is just my idea, since your passport will expire soon plus you got married, i believe you have to apply in person to renew your passport, why dont you just bring your marriage cert w/ you together with your hubby's copy of ID (in san fran consulate when i reported my marriage they asked for a copy of my husband's ID {passport, DL})... that way the consulate of chicago can register your marriage in Phil, by then you can have your name change in your husband's last name. when i filed for aos, my passport was still on my maiden name and i didnt report my marriage till last june 2009, and have my passport change in phil in my married name last dec... hope this help	RonMay	Female	Philippines	2010-01-27 14:46:00

Philippines	Did you buy your ticket before or after the interview?	i had my interview in dec. 27 (got approved), got my visa in jan 3 and i texted my husband about the great news. later did i know he bought the ticket right away after he got the msg. which we could have had get a better deal if he waited for me to check some deals in our local phil agent. but guess he was so excited and he's been looking for great deals/dates to travel even before hand in the internet so made it as a surprise when i checked my email and saw the flight sked ... Philippines	Soooooo	hello sa lahat!!! unang una gusto kong mag pasalamat sa lahat ng taga VJ ive met a lot of members (not in person hehehe) na naging part na rin ng buhay ko. ever since 2006 sa K1 process namin laking tulong talaga ang vj tapos yung mga moral suporta din ninyo... lahat di ko iiwan ang vj hehehe but medyo madalang nalang ang visit ko dito kasi there are things that i needed to fix muna (hindi naman major) and that will limit me to visit vj at i asked na rin to capt Ewok na i will let go being a mod kasi unfair naman sa kanila na wala akong oras mag mod sa forum... i will miss guys and of course im just an fb away (maliban nalang kung i-block ko kayo ) im not saying good-bye, pero out muna ako for now.
