Africa: Sub-Saharan	DS 230 BEING REVIEWED~~~!!!!!!!!!!!	Hello everyone!!!! Just got off the phone with NVC. After providing the usual info the lady asked me "did you recently send in some mail ?' I said yes it was delivered on 1/9 and she asked what it included. I informed her that it had the DS-230 and supporting documents. She stated it is currently being reviewed and you should receive a case complete any day!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I do have to say that all phone calls and conversations I have had with the NVC have been very professional and polite. Hold tight and you will be fine. My husband had his interview on 3/22 and we are heading back to the states on thursday. Africa: Sub-Saharan	Question On Police Report and Medical	My husband had his interview on Friday. I had him obtain new EVERYTHING that had a potential of AP until received. I updated all financials also. Even though we had sent everything to NVC in Jan I didnt want to take a chance. Also I brought everything to the interview. Petition additional evidence, etc anything that was mailed to USCIS and NVC was taken to the interview and good thing I did because the CO went through it all and kept asking for more from the 9# of paperwork, he looked at every picture and every page of 2 years of phone records and emails etc. Only thing is that even that I packaged originals and copies separate with instructions of what to keep and what to return they kept EVERYTHING. My husband asked for the originals back ( which included all of my proof of income , 2012 taxes etc) the CO told him tell your wife they will be sent back to the US and she will receive them in the mail. Oh well I will have to deal with that! At least my baby is returning with me to the states next week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO I would advise you its way to early to obtain new Medical and Police report. You shouldnt have medical done until you receive the interview letter from NVC also that would be a good time for a new Police report. Africa: Sub-Saharan	Pissed Off in Nigeria	So I'm in Nigeria for 6 weeks to visit but the immigration stamps my passport for only 4 weeks. I tell them I'm here for 6 weeks and was told 2 get an extension at d immigration office. So my husband takes me and long story short we were told 2 process a 1 month extension of my stay we need 2 pay 20 thousand naira!!! So I ask about the niger wives visa and they tell me that the form is free but there is a processing fee of about 19 thousand naira but there's no timeframe I will get it back!!!! If I pay 50 thousand naira I can have the niger wives visa in 2 weeks. WTH!!!!!! Welcome to Nigeria!!!!! Usually the embassy only issues 30 day visas to everyone. Although they called us back 2 days after the interview to come back to the embassy and pick all of it up, kept what they needed including all required copies PLUS all my originals my husband took to his interview, they said we would receive the originals in the mail from the U.S but its been 7 months and no originals!!!! Africa: Sub-Saharan	Does my girlfriend need a Visa to Visit me and my family in Nigeria?	She is required to submit a letter of invitation from you stating that you are inviting her to Nigeria. You must include in the letter her information [ name address etc} and also all of yours including phone numbers. You have to state you are providing total financial responsibility for her while she is there. Also where she will be staying, address and if a hotel she must include a paid receipt for the entire length of stay, also what you will be doing while she is there, purpose of visit, expose to culture, meet family etc , also she must provide a copy of her plane ticket receipt with her application, her passport and application.	rlogan3030	Female	Nigeria	2014-03-16 07:56:00

National Visa Center (Dept of State)	SHOULD I MAIL AFTER EMAIL	Hi everyone! we received our case and Invoice Identification numbers. My husband used the template for the DS 3032 and emailed it this morning. Checking the portal it stated to complete and mail in the DS 3032 that was mailed to my husband today. I had my husband complete one and mail me all the required documents for NVC a month ago. Should I mail the hard copy in also or check in a day or so and see if the email template was accepted. He did receive the auto reply that his email was received. I know this question has been asked before but I am currently not in the position to research! National Visa Center (Dept of State)	Changing employment	Just a question asking for someone else currently with case complete also waiting for interview date. The last thing they wanted to do was change employers at this time but they were forced to resign due to fraudulent practices by their employer. They went back to a previous employer that they worked for last year making more money and was only unemployed 3 days. Does the change of employer need to be revealed at the interview or should it just be left alone? Any advice would be much appreciated.
