United Kingdom	2010 United Kingdom Interview Thread	Totally freaking out!In a week and 36 hours Julian will be at the Embassy. How am I supposed to deal with all of this worrying? I can't help but think we've forgotten anything. My I-134 is up to date (we are trying to self-sponsor, of course, but I gave him one just in case). Does he need to need to have an updated notarized letter of intent from me? He's complaining about how it has to be on a day after he has a major work/social event, and he'll be up late the night before. Last thing we need is for him to show up hungover! Well, glad I can laugh about something here. The letter of intent does not need to be updated unless your petition approval has expired, I doubt that your's has as you went through the process rather quickly. Tell him he better be drinking orange juice at that event, you don't want anyone puking on the embassy officers in the morning, lol. Good luck! There's no question that they've set a date, it would be the height of incompetency not to have at least that bit sorted by now. The civil servants manning the phones obviously just cannot be bothered to put down their cheet-o's and magazines long enough to type a few bits of information into the comptuer to give us an answer. Honestly, this has gone on long enough. I may just ring my MP in the morning to get things moving. It's too late to call again today anyway, so I guess I'll just start again tomorrow. Honestly I think that you will probably get your date very very soon. Don't worry so much, it will just stress you out as this important time when you really have very little influence in what happens. United Kingdom	2010 United Kingdom Interview Thread	I know we're technically still in "normal processing times" for getting an interview date, but I was really hoping we would have our interview date by now! My plan for having a September wedding was thrown away a long time ago, and we have a date set in December, but my fiance has to spend at least two months tying up a lot of business in London before he can come here, so I'm REALLY worried that he won't have the interview in time! I know I shouldn't but I'm calling DOS three times a day now and I just want to know so we can make plans. He said if we don't hear soon, we should try to get someone in the State Department involved because he's not going to miss our wedding. I just want to know I'm not being crazy!!! The state department is not going to do anything if you in normal processing times. As I have said before to numerous other people, be thankful that your processing is as fast as it is this year. Last year most people wouldn't have even had their NOA2 in the time you've almost gotten your interview date. Having said that, did you mention your wedding plans in the paperwork sent back to the embassy. I have heard they might speed it up if as a courtesy if they know you have a certain date. United Kingdom	2010 United Kingdom Interview Thread	Hello All! We filed April 20, 2010 through Vermont. We never received a packet 3, and called and they told us where to find what we needed to send in. We sent this all in on August 2, and still haven't heard about and interview date. My fiance called a couple of weeks ago and they said it was still in the processing time frame. I just want him here NOW!! We are praying the packet 4 will come soon.. It is hard coming on here and seeing others getting their interview dates.. but at least we know it should be soon! Well at least you didn't file last year. We filed in June and his interview was January. Things have certainly picked up since then.... Just keep calling every day. I don't know if making a mistake will make that big of a difference. I've never heard of a letter threatening to cancel the petition. United Kingdom	NOA2! And of course, more questions....	You as sponsor don't have to provide any income documents except your own I-134 (although you can if you want to show what you've got). Your dad needs an I-134 and all the other documents as well NOA2 is not necessary for interview, but it might be good to have a copy to take just in case. Arguably London for the most part doesn't want more relationship info, but that doesn't mean that they can't ask for it as the relationship is an important part of the process.
