The one behind us got approved on Valentine's and I thought great, they're working on our batch! Then a week later everyone ahead of me got approved and I got concerned. So i just need to have my medical and fill in the online forms and I'm ready to have my interview! So so crazy fast.   Congrats on your approval!   You're gonna need your NOA2 for AOS so if it doesn't come in the next coupla weeks make sure to follow up. Average time between noas for December CSC filers was 44 days, and some of them still haven't been approved. Only 70% of January CSC filers have been approved. We're at 41 days and still waiting. I think one month is a very optimistic estimate.     SoyDeEI... I think the only way you can avoid the wait related stress is by going to your fiance and spend time till all is over  I am sure within a month you will get your NOA2 as approval pace is damn good now days..,mine took 18 days only.  By the way.. did you get registered in the USCIS website so that you may receive updates related to your application by email and/or text?... that way, you don't need to go to the website ... IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	LOST MAIL?	I'd have it scanned and ready to send, along with the bar-coded sheet. Call on Monday and speak to a supervisor. Have all the information from the delivery available to send as well. Do you have the name of the person who allegedly signed for it? DHL has it listed in the delivery notes here in Ireland, so if you have it, that could help. Good luck and keep on posted on what happens! They finally have it!!!! IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	LOST MAIL?	My husband recently sent in the ds-230 after a request for him to re-do part 1 was mailed via email with the checklist. He sent it express on Feb 22 from Jamaica and it was said to have reached and was signed for on Feb 25. They have 20 days to process the mail once it's in there system, so I called on the 19th day only to find out that they are saying the mail never reached??? So now I am frustrated and don't know if there is anything I can do besides resubmit the info and wait another whole month! IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	NVC-AOS	Hello Vj friends, I wanted to know how long does it take after turning in AOS packet will I get a response from them? Because I did not get anything from them and then they asked for visa DS-packet . I did pay for the visa packet and send it in as well so what should I do now or how long before I get an interview date? Do I need to call them weekly and ask for a status update??? thanks You just have to keep checking, calling everyday if you like. The can take up to 20 business days to review it but as of a few weeks ago it was not taking that long. When you find out through email it will be days later than if u were to call and check. I would call and ask to speak to a supervisor who can check and see if it may have been over looked. Hm it does state that from the time the embassy get your case to the date of your interview the waiting time is about 3-4 months. That's crazy but seems like you are almost done with this ! It should arrive soon. At least I hope it will It also looks like the last person with an updated timeline for your country had to wait the same amount of time ! They then forward you a packet of all the documents they need (again you can check on your embassy page info : http://www.visajourn...a&cty=Bucharest ) Packet 3 Contains: Packet 3 from the U.S. Embassy in Bucharest contains the following items: Instructions for K1 Visa solicitors Instructions for the Medical http://travel.state....xamination.html Instructions regarding TNT courier sercive Intsructions about form I-134 and supporting papers Information on legal Rights of Immigrants http://travel.state....RA_Romanian.pdf   So basically it looks like you already received it Some embassies also send a packet 4 with informations related to the medical screening and the interview date but it seems like yours do not : Issues a Packet 4? What I mean is you can save your progress online, you just keep all the informations needed to access it and when you are about to receive the lacking documents you submit it. At least, you can get ready and look up for answers here if you are having troubles filling the DS-160. I am pretty sure you will have to submit your form in a specific amount of time if you go for that road. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	November 2013 filers?	Hi and welcome   We did fill out ds-160 before having all the paperwork ready. I don't think it really matters. Did your embassy send you a form (paper or online) to fill out once you are ready for the interview ? Basically the way it works for France is that we have to fill the DS-160 (whenever we want and print your confirmation page), gather all the papers asked and once you are done you send back to the embassy a form of readiness so they know they can schedule your interview. Anyway ! We filled ours before receiving packet 3 and no problem at all Just need your embassy case number to fill it out.   Hope that helps ! You can also read the page of your embassy on the website : http://www.visajourn...a&cty=Bucharest Looks like your equivalence for our readiness form in France will be your confirmation page of the DS-160 and the passport informations.   Good luck ! In France, they just asked me to fill DS-160 online and a list of documents (copies and originals) to submit the day of the interview.   You can look under the category "Embassy Info" and look for your embassy in the list here is the link for now : http://www.visajourn...a&cty=Kingstone  they give you a list of what you need and some informations about the updated forms.   You can also complete with the guide for K1 visa on VJ as well  : http://www.visajourn...content/k1guide  (read carrefully the category "What to send to your fiance(e) once the I-129f is approved")   And then of course, look for experiences from other members about this specific embassy by using the search option.   That is what we did, and I had everything ready the day I got the packet 3 from my Embassy.   Good luck and I hope it moves fast from NVC now !
