Here's the question.....Do I make a copy of the WHOLE thing or just the first page (or so) which has my beneficiary information? Write and write and write.....to newspapers and tv staions (not to mention, it is an election year -- letters to congressmen and representatives) Call in and call in and call in.......to ralk-radio. Produce a 'form letter' that people from all over the country can take and make their own and 'mass mail." I know what it is like to have that nervous "waiting" energy. I was a bit nervous when "they" were reading and re-reading the NOA1.....but, in the end. Everything worked out just fine. You would think that with all the technology and the "chips" that are in the passports and GC that there should be no need for you to travel with that silly piece of paper. Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	Still Waiting!	Don't worry....not until you really have to. I sent my Priority Mail/Certified. The last (and only) time it was scanned was when I dropped it off at my post office. After over a week I started to freak. I called my local post office service center and they contacted Nebraska for me. The woman I talked to actually gave me a number for a woman down there (in Nebraska) who I eventually talked to. This woman told me that because of the number of packages they get for the USCIS they also log the information in by hand. Mine was not there. She said she had two different people check the handwritten lists. She said my package could be almost anywhere and my only option was to file a "missing package" report with my local post office and just hope it showed up. <<By the way, the post office does nothing with the "missing package" report -- they just put it in a file>> I had to wait (I believe) 10 days before I could do that. Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	Really Crappy Week	Thank you all so much for your well wishes. We really do appreciate them. We started this process in June of 2005.....never did I think that three and a half years later we would be "done." There were times when I thought I would have to be changing my USCIS password for the rest of my life For those of you who are still waiting. Whether it be CSC or VSC....try not to worry so much. This is really the easiest part of the whole "process." Yeah, it might be the part that requires you to wait the longest but in the end, it's all worth it. We have a block in April where they all appear to be from NSC which aren't approved yet, but that could be coincidental. Other NSC filers seem to be getting approved around the same as others who filed at the same time (eg lovelove and BrianBellingham). Have those members who filed at NSC been around recently? Middle East and North Africa	ever feel like giving up?	Nothing is perfect......and that being said. I have a friend (who I met on another website) who was going through the same thing as I was at the same time. Needless to say, she couldn't handle the stress of being apart and not talking as "frequently" as she wanted....they never made it. You have to be strong in your will and love to get through this process. When you are waiting for "them" to get here that's all you can focus on....once "they" get here a whole other set of problems begin. It's tough. Just stay strong and vent all you want. I had a "heavier" card stock that I used for the divider pages and went to OfficeMax and purchased tabs that you could attach yourself......and I put them on the bottom on the divider pages. At the interview the man had our original I-129F petition in front of him and he was using the tabs to find what he was looking for. Personally, I would think that having the W-2 with the copies would be enough......but you can never been too sure.... Go ahead and order them. They will either show up in time or not.... K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Pictures as evidence	I only had one (really bad) picture of us together......was really worried so I also included an affidavit from my friend who was with me when we met. Also had <tons> of evidence for the three additional trips I took to see him <before we filed>. Didn't have any problems. To me - it shouldn't matter -- how many years is alot of years? 15 or 20 year difference, yeah, that might be a problem....I could see where "they" might be a bit suspicious......but that shouldn't stop anyone!! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Bank Letter	Joanna -- my bank would only give me a letter that stated the date my account was opened and how much I had in the account <I only have checking.> And yes, it was on bank letterhead -- I got two original copies. Since they would not do the total amount that I deposited for the last year -- I made a copy of all my statement and highlighted all my deposits. Then I ran a "tape" to get the total. I stapled the "tape" to the batch of statements. Nobody ever said boo. They took it with the rest of the I-134..... You've GOT to be kidding me!!!! This forum was started for US to have a place to help each other -- not BASH each other every chance we get. What is wrong with someone having an opinion? That's just fine if you don't agree with it but do we have to get so nasty? I have been around (and been a party to) plenty of prejudice in my life. It is what it is. Yeah, it's a shame that in this day and age things like this still go on -- I am sorry for that. I really am. But I don't go around making it worse. Whatever...... Well, I think I sprayed too much Lysol in his cage and killed him. He used to sleep right next to my bed.....that night I noticed he really wasn' t moving too much so I put him in my sisters room for that night -- then I blamed her for killing him.
