Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	I-751 Evidence question	Hi everyone I guess our time to apply to remove conditions has come, we are just a bit confused on what needs to be sent out and what doesn't. For instance we have bank accounts together, purchased a car together, tax returns and so on, my question is when making copies of all those important documents should I cross out our bank account number or title number of the car ? I just have a question though if anyone here knows, its just not very clear to me when can we apply for the citizenship if its going to be 3 years (may 2011) since we've been married. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Is it possible to get NOA2 without getting NOA1? For others (like myself), it is several months after. 90 days after you file, if you still don't have NOA1, call USCIS and they will look up your case number, and you can request a new NOA1, which will show the proper dates. Philippines	6 Month Passport Expiration Requirement	Hi everybody, thanks for your responses.  Regarding my wife's visit, it will only be for two weeks, so I doubt she'll have enough time to get a new passport while she is there.    From what I've read so far, it seems like she will be fine entering back into the US.  The potential problems I see occurring will be either with the Philippines government (either when she enters the Philippines or when she tries to return to the US), or with the airline.  Adding to the complexity, it seems like a Philippines passport renewal, while still in the US and before the visit, may take up to 6-8 weeks.  By then, it will already be time for her to leave on her trip.  Thanks.	gtom81	Male	Philippines	2014-06-30 21:26:00

I made the mistake of telling her I am already dilated.   Yesterday she texted me and said, "call me when you do go to the hospital"    i didn't respond to her though.  We don't plan on calling her.  We will call my parents and that is it.  If I call her she will show up with her kids and she will call everyone..   I have not told her that I am probably going to be induced next week.  She is a bit of a gossip so even if I told her not to she would probably tell everyone..   She asked if I wanted her to come to my appointment tomorrow and I said no because I know the doctor will be discussing the induction.  I feel bad but this is the only way it works with her...   For some strange reason I feel like it is our place to tell people   It IS your place to tell people, not hers.  I get she's excited for you and all but jeez lol its your baby not hers! the last thing you need is her and her entourage during LND. So they all know me there.. we are using a pack n play by the bed for the first few weeks and then we will move her to the crib..   We're doing the same thing, got a pack n play at out shower. I expect for the first two weeks or so ( according to my childbirth instructor) that i wont be moving much at all other than going to the bathroom LOL.   This is the one we got: http://www.amazon.co...bassinet napper   It took me 2 hours almost to freakign assemble the thing myself..but its made to easily disassemble and go anywhere.  I really like the napper / changer station and the bassinet part. I think that is a great idea Marilyn.  With everything you've been through they sounded like they were really there for you.   and its a no on the rental with or without a prescription etc.  i have no idea why they would do that but its going to make it harder for me to go back to work at some point if we need the money.  I guess that's why so many ppl bottle feed at his work. it may cost more but it gives them more time to get sleep , go out etc. this means i won't even get a break.  I was hoping some nights to just pump and let david get up middle of the night so i could get an hour or two of extra sleep.  I really dont want to mix bottle formula with BM, i've heard too many people say the kid gets confused and i really do want to BF as long as possible. The others i have yet to see.  In fact the guy i saw with my husband, well even David disliked him, and when i went to sign the last couple of consent forms at the hospital even the receptionist knew who he was!! God i hope i don't get him..i'm scream and throw something at his head..i just know it.   So i'm totally and utterly royally mega pissed off at my husbands work.  We have health insurance through AETNA and its a ppo, and THEY give free breast pumps, the good ones from mendela etc double electric you name it.  BUT OH NOOOOOO, my husbands work..gets to avoid THE AFFORDABLE CARE ACT when it comes to that and are REFUSING to let me have one saying its NOT in the contract.  so i'm like wtfz..you can't do that...and they are like yes we can, our plans are grandfathered in...we get to ignore it...GRRRRRRRRRRRRR. there is no way in hell, i can afford one, we still need a car seat, baby bath and supplies, diapers, clothes and a few other things since only a handful of ppl showed up to the shower.  Not to mention the increased costs of my medicines, and our life insurance policies etc etc.  I mean..i have no idea how we are going to even put this kid through school when chicago schools want like 500 for registration in elementary!!!   I think..in a  couple years..we are going to rent out this house, and move back up to canada...cuz...this is getting ridiculous.... So since my doctor put me on medicine for my GD my numbers have improved a ton!  I have realized that certain foods do trigger higher numbers in me and ironically its foods they TELL you to eat as a diabetic..go figure.  Basically shredded what and whole grains seem to mess me up.  in the last week i've only had 3 high numbers, and am super happy that its finally getting in check.   Tomorrow i have another checkup, i go every week now, and they will do another full fetal survey like the 20 week one.  Its been awhile so i'm eager to find out how big she is etc.  I've finally gotten used to saying "My daughter" instead of "the baby" lol, now i have to work on getting used to saying her name   I need to ask my OB if there is anything i can do about my carpal tunnel.  I had it before i got pregnant but in the last couple weeks it's almost becoming unbearable. and my hands are tingly numb almost all day even with my splint on Most days i wake up and it takes half the day for my right hand to stop feeling numb.  Thats a bad thing for someone who has to test their blood, i've inadvertently stabbed myself by accident trying to assemble my kit since i couldn't feel a damn thing   David says i should write all this down to tell my daughter when she's older lol.     I love it when they get hiccups I thought it was the coolest thing. Canada	Got Baby? Avez vous un bebe?	Marilyn, I am so with you on not telling anyone I am in labor because I don't want an entourage at the hospital. During labor and delivery, I want my DH and my doula. After delivery, for a couple hours, I want it to be just DH and me so we can enjoy your little ones before we tell the world. Then at a decent time of day, I will take visitors for me and the babies. Hope you can keep your labor and delivery on the down low so you get the privacy you need.   Luckily no one is allowed on the labour floor at the hospital except people i allow.  its super high security, and i'm thankful for that, since no way i want my MIL there...or my FIL...ugh i can just imagine what would happen. The waiting room is on the first floor, and i'll be on the 6th, then the 5th for after delivery.  they also have Nap time for a few hours in the afternoon where no one but me and hubby are in the room.  In fact, our childbirth instructor recommended that we don't have any visitors etc. for the first 2 weeks as it takes that long to figure a few things out and get accustomed to our new schedule etc.  She said it will screw up my focus and i will be busy trying to entertain rather than bonding with our new daughter.  I have to admit, it sure makes sense to me.  Those are the most important weeks i think as well. I can't wait till the movements get real noticeable, at 13w I only notice if I'm really relaxed.   To think, i was so worried since at 26 weeks i hadn't felt anything, and now, its like i have a drum band in my tummy LOL.  Shes a strong one too. Knocking my book of my belly or her dad's hand. I think i even felt her have the hiccups for the first time now that was an odd feeling. Some people go into labour a few hours after it is removed and some people go a few weeks.  We will see what happens..     Yay for almost being at the finish line!! I'm so happy for you  I wouldn't worry about the weight.  It all depends on what you were before pregnancy.  According to the "other" doctor, i should have only gained like 15-20 lbs...but i have gained 35 so far, and i still have 7 weeks to go.  AS long as you are getting the nutrition you need and your healthy it should be fine.   14 weeks today, the nausea can stop any time now.  I hope it ends for you soon! I had it til about the 5th month almost.  it stopped being all day and was just mornings for the last few weeks.  Now i only feel sick if i over slept and am over hungry. VeeNDee, glad your little one decided head down was the way to go.  That is reassuring I am sure. Glad that the little one passed all non-stress tests and biophysical profile tests. Kimbear, sorry to hear about your sleeping issues. Even with my U shaped pregnancy pillow, I wake up with my arm asleep from laying on my side.  Annoying but I haven't figured out how to get rid of it either. Hopefully you can get your GD under control through eating without getting far out there numbers. $145 for 100 test strips, yikes. Is there a mail order place you could get those supplies? hikergirl, thanks for the heads up on the minor Nexus card fees. Now I just have to worry about passports so I can get the Nexus cards for my babies. AFM, DH and I went and toured the birth place where I am planning to give birth last night. The triage part reminded me of an emergency room. I told DH that supported my wishes of staying home until I was in active labor because otherwise the tour guide said we could spend 2 to 4 hours in this little room with no windows. All the labor and delivery rooms have outdoor windows which is much better in my opinion. The tour guide told me and 2 other moms pregnant with twins that it wasn't the practice to have all twin births in the operating room. But I am definitely going to talk to my doctor about that too. There were nice deep bath tubs and showers in each room so I can stand in the water if I want to labor there which was good. She even said they recommend that a laboring woman sit on a toilet and rock to help get the baby in the right position to exit the body vaginally. The hospital supports skin to skin contact with the baby after birth which was good to know, but if I am still actively laboring for the second baby that may be interesting.  Nurse said that colostrum tastes like amniotic fluid which I had never heard before. Makes sense though so it is familiar to the baby.   The mother/baby unit was nice with enough space in their large rooms for both babies to stay with us and they are never taken away from the parents unless the little boys are going to be circumcised. I am not sure how my DH feels about circumcision. I guess I need to have a conversation about that.  There is a "watching" nursery if parents ask to have some time to sleep without watching the baby. DH even gets a couch to sleep on. Doesn't look that comfy but at least it is something.   Luckily the type of unit they gave me is covered under my insurance, apparently there is no such thing as generic its all machine specific.  So the price wasn't horrible last night at the pharmacy.  They do have a mail order which i checked out and the next refill will go through that, it will save me a ton on these.  As for the insulin if i need that, well i'm not sure how that would work since it needs to be refrigerated.  I'll find out next week if i need it (i'm pretty sure i do), or if i will get the pills they were talking about.   My childbirth instructor said hospitals don't want you showing up as soon as you go into labour anymore or they will charge you.  She told us that we should stay home for the first 12 hours and rest prepare etc, and that only to come to the hospital for active labour and when our contractions are 5-1-1. So finally went to the doctor and he said I have bronchitis.  He's not sure if it's viral or bacterial and gave me a prescription to use if it doesn't get better by today.  Sigh... the fever comes and goes but the coughing refuses to leave.  My side is incredibly sore.  I can't lie on it, and I can barely stand up/sit down at this point.  Last night my husband had to help me in and out of the chair.  I took a Tylenol today but this is getting so frustrating.  Can't sleep to save my life.  Just unending stabbing pain...    On a bright note, my MIL has offered to come during the day today to help me pack which is good, because at this point I feel completely useless and things have to get done. Oh that totally sucks having bronchitis.  when i got sick at the beginning after hubby had that i made sure to get meds asap.  they gave me something called a z pack which i was told was safe.  you should be able to use cough drops and some cough meds they told me just the normal ones no -d or anything like that.   Definitely take up the MIL on her offer.  You need to rest and NOT stress. Does it make the bed all squishy and weird? lol I had a beauty rest at first that was extra padded and it was just tooo soft for my back pre pregnancy.  Not a fan of feeling like i'm stuck in a cloud and cant get up i have enough trouble getting up as is! rofl.   Ya so far my morning numbers are a bit high but only 10 points.  currently the only high number i had was after my late lunch meal but that was due to my 2 hour GD class right at lunch and no snacks i think.  I have a week to do this and figure out if certain foods are the culprit or what.  AT least i know i can eat what i want more or less just as long as i keep carb numbers the right amount.  I was worried at first that i'd be stuck eating tasteless horrible food! Hopefully no c-section in the future for ya now! Hope your cold gets better too.  As for taking Zantac, make sure its 4 hours apart from meals.  Its what i have to do with my thyroid meds and zantac and my prenatals.  Luckily the Zantac is good for 12 hours, and for me it works great.     Hmm they measured my belly and didn't say a word to me, it was 31 cm.  I have no idea if that was good or bad. Weighed myself again today, in the last month i've gained only 1lb. I blame all the GD tests and stress.   I can't sleep for anything these days.  I have the most weird dreams which i was told is normal lol.  And my carpal tunnel has been SOOOO much worse.  Now i wake up with my entire arm from shoulder to fingertips with pins and needles. I have tried lying on my left side right side back, it does not matter, i end up waking up with pins and needles almost everywhere.  My hips are killing me in the morning and i'm getting up like every 2 hours again to pee.  I'm soo tired lately cuz of this And i'm using like 3-4 pillows and i dunno what else to do. Our bed is only 6 months old, we bought a Serta perfect sleeper, and it was great til i got preggo! lol.   Today i had my GD class, went over carb counting etc, and had my meal plan given to me, along with a glucose meter.  I have to do this 4 times a day til 6 weeks after the baby is born.  I just did my first test after supper and i already failed.  even though i ate the amount of carbs they told me too.  I'm supposed to stay under 120 after 2 hours of eating, and i was at 143  I see insulin in my future sigh. Now i need to see if the insurance can get me this stuff for cheaper, since 100 test strips is 145$ at the pharmacy.  I think i nearly had a heart attack when i saw the prices of the supplies i need. strips needles and some other item, so 200$ a month.  Good grief. I probably should be talking with DH's HR about how his insurance will change when we add two babies and me to it after the babies are born (since right now I am insured through my work but that will end once the babies are born).   Family - it is so tough.  I know in my heart, although they haven't said it, that my in-laws won't be coming down to visit the babies once they are born. We will have to go visit them in Canada. Money is an issue for them as they are both retired, but more than that they are afraid they will have a medical emergency down in the states and not have their provincial health plan to cover it even though we are 2.5 hours from the closest border crossing. Yes, my MIL has cancer issues but it appears to be controlled with meds right now. I feel your pain when it seems like we are always the ones going to visit them and they never come visit us.  They came for our wedding in 2010 but haven't been back since. Once the babies are born and our family is on one income, going to visit them will be a financial hardship for us, although I don't think that has sunk in for DH yet. I just have to love them and remind myself I can't change someone else's selfish behavior.   VeeNDee, I hope the ultrasound with the maternal-fetal specialist goes well.   AFM, I went to the grocery store yesterday and on the way home, some lady in a fancy new car bumped into me as we were at the stop light. I didn't think much of it, didn't stop to get insurance or report it, but my neck has been hurting a bit last night and today. Ugh.   Got an explanation of benefits yesterday for our anatomy ultrasound that was a month ago - the hospital charges were a little over $1000! Of that we are paying about $100. We have nearly gotten to our out of pocket maximum of $2000 this year.  I just shake my head at how much these medical procedures cost.  Then there was the hemoglobin stick they did in the doctors office - charge was $15 of which we have to pay $0.46.  Okay. Babies cost a lot of money and I am looking forward to when my boys make it into the world. Twenty three weeks tomorrow!   so far the only thing I've had to pay for were labs for bloodtests etc. ultrasounds and the rest are grouped up with the giant bill at the end.  So far we have paid almost $1000. We have already pass our deductible, and are 1/3 of the way through our out of pocket.  And the estimate i was told for the final bill is going to be 7k-10k for a normal delivery. but I've been told by friends its closer to 15k. OUCH.   i'm not sure what the law is where you live, but up north i was told by my insurance i had 24 hours to go to a hospital after a car accident to get checked out before it voided anything.  You may wanna go asap to a clinic.   So it seems only 2 people are showing up to my baby shower which makes me wonder what the point is.  Even David's sister and Dad are not coming.  I'm kinda bummed about it. Especially since my sister in law went though alot of trouble doing a jungle theme with the invitations, and the party favours etc.  This is why i told David i usually don't plan events, because people don't seem to give a ####### unless its something for them, and completely on their time frame, regardless if its been planed for 2 months or not.  I think i'm a just give up on family and friends here.  The only ones who seem to care about me and David is his brother Rich and his Wife Laura who i adore.  The rest are completely inept. We went for the 32 week ultrasound today to check if the placenta had moved.    Good news: The placenta has moved wayyyy up top so we're good!   Bad news: - Baby is still breech (but has plenty of time to turn apparently so I'm not going to worry about that) - The baby's waist is proportionately small so the OB sent me right away for a non-stress test and then referred me to a maternal-fetal service to get another ultrasound tomorrow to check on the blood flow through the placenta.  She is worried the baby isn't getting proper nutrition/blood flow.  The baby weighs 3 pounds 11 ounces today, approximately and she said that is in the 39th percentile which is good.  Guess tomorrow we'll find out what the results of the other test say.   Hope everything goes well for you.  Its hard not to stress when your told things like that., just found out that we can't completely change plans once the baby is born.  we can add her though of course.    So it looks like we will be paying an extra $100 a check..    we were told we have 30 days to add the baby and for the first 30 days she is covered by my portion.  Its costing us about the same every paycheck as well. it really sucks. Ya i hate how you can't pick and choose hospitals clinics or your doctors here. its so annoying.  So glad the test went well for you.   I just got a call from my dr.  I flunked the 3hr glucose test. apparently my numbers were very high. Canada	Got Baby? Avez vous un bebe?	well i had my 3 hour glucose test take 2 today, i managed to survive yay! Should know the results tomorrow she said.    Yesterday we toured the brand spanking new building for the women and baby hospital. It is freaking NICE!.  The rooms are all private and huge.  tv dvd fridge microwave coffee machine, shower in the bathroom, really nice decor with wood cabinets etc, its looks almost like a hotel room aside from the medical bed and equipment. OH and they do dining room service!! with a fancy menu and everything for you!! and have a photographer come after the baby is born and you can go online after and see if you want to order the prints or not.  I LOVE the fact they have a lactation consultant there to help right away and all the FREE support groups for it and PPD etc.  I'm just floored at the whole place and the nurses that work there and how nice everyone is too.     Also i found out they believe in keeping mother and baby together the whole time, there is no nursery.  Its a family/baby friendly room as well, with couches chairs tables internet etc, and you can have as many people in the room with you as you want during the labour.  Seeing how nice and cozy the room was made me feel so much better.  I absolutely HATE hospitals, and have fainted numerous times in them.  This was so nice and did not even smell like a hospital.  its literally 6 floors just for labour , moms, and new babies.
