Online? As far as I know you cannot pay it online not unless its for an immigrant visa (please correct me if Im wrong). Non-immigrant visa fee like K1 is payable only by peso at BPI. I've never heard of K1 paying visa application fee online. :wacko: :unsure:

ok let me make this clear for you and others who have question.
in the first package,with I-129f, what is required from a petitioner with a beneficiary in a normal ( not high fraud or terrorist ) country is expected,is to submit proof of having MET in person within the last two years. that includes tickets, hotel information,credit card statements showing that you bought a ticket and paid for the hotel,boarding passes,passport stamps,AND IF it makes you feel better,some pictures with the beneficiary to prove you have physically met. the photos are not primary evidence.
in the interview,they ask for proof of relationship,proof of relationship is emails,chatlogs,phone records, pictures with the families and more pictures. what i personally suggest for the interview stage is PDA filled pictures ( as much as the beneficiary's religion and culture and your own morals allow you to ).
thats the difference between proof of having met in person and proof of an on going relationship.
is there such thing as too much evidence?yes. submiting too much evidence cant make the whole deal shorter, so dont bother.

Guys stop putting him down with negatives we're all human, if he doesn't have enough and really wants this lets give him advice of what he can do and help him, there's economic crises you can't expect a guy to make more of nothing. im guessing he pays for rent and what not to, put yourself in his shoes. and i say if your girl friend is doing worse financially in her country then you are...then by all means bring her using a co sponsor or 2 but save about 4000 bucks for fees and paper work. you got a good heart man! Not many people can see it but i can. as we all know,ive been on VJ through out my whole visa process and thanks to this website i like to think of myself as some kind of...well pro in simple and normal cases.
our visa process was a difficult one because of the wrong and at times unnecessary information users share from time to time.case in point,the other day i was going through k-1 form,trying to catch up with the new information and possible changes that i thought uscis might have made.i came accross a post from a member asking about information regarding AOS and how long the time frame to file aos in was.some member mentioned that AOS has to be filed before the visa expires which is wrong,because its true that if you dont file for AOS before your visa or other cards and information expire,the time you spent in the US is considered over staying,but its forgiven base on the marriage when you do file for AOS.
needless to say when i saw that i started doubting and wondering whether or not that was true.
to sum it up,i spent 4 sleepless nights looking for that information,so from an old member to the new ones, double check each and every piece of information you see on this website

ummmm,hate to burst your bubble but from the looks of it your fiancee is getting her visa soon because 1) the consulate is working on your case,sometimes means they really are and youre going to see results today 2) i have learned to trust the specific time that consulate gives beneficiaries and petitioners,if they said she will have it by next week,then she most likely will,unless something else will come up,during the AP period.
3) i dont agree with baron555, because consulates usually ask for a copy of the passport,all pages.
so they dont need your fiancee's passport with additional background checks or things of that sort.
on and all,youre freaking out for no reason

Well, I don't remember the CO telling him how long the wait would be..if she did she gave the generic 2 week story....All she said was to check the website. We are over a month now and still waiting...I know we have at least a 3 month wait....so count your blessings girly :yes:

so,we had our interview july 6th in turkey,and my then fiance,my mother and i all went.we knew that we would get APed,no questions asked,but just to be on the safer side,my husband decided to take an extra week of leave to spend in turkey with us,since he had to inform his work before hand. so i go in,first off the place was freezing cold,so i was stuttering when it was my turn.second of all,the lady asked about my husbands layovers and where he got his ticket from and blah blah blah,so i thought she knew that we had one more week to spend in turkey after the interview.so all went well,i got APed,we spent the week in turkey,i came home,unpacked and low and behold,two days after i arrived before my husband got to check in at work,my name was cleared and i had to go back and get my visa.from what ive heard it almost ALWAYS takes as long as they tell you it will take.in my case the lady told me it would take up to two weeks and i got it before two weeks were up

you know you can send the embassy a letter explaining your situation and ask them to expand the amount of time you have right?
also the embassy you have to deal with is ankara,and they are kinda messy,so make sure you send your package with a postal service like dhl or fedex or tnt with tracking number and start emailing them as soon as they get your package.
your expiration date can get expanded but you have to request it

It doesn't appear that this issue was ever resolved.
They got a letter from NVC that claimed they were applying for a K3.
It looks like, based on the result, that the embassy /still/ thinks this is the case.

even IF they were applying for a k-3 ,the officer didnt find the relationship bona fide,so there must be something wrong with the evidence they had.
out of curiosity op,did you ever call your fiance your husband or hubs or hubby in the evidence of relationship you submitted?

She won't need anything.I had the same situation,granted I was 20 when I had my interview,but they didn't ask for anything.If you file befo your girlfriend is legal,she will need the consent of her legal guardian, whoever it is

My problem is when a man is older than a woman they approved their visa but when it comes to a woman why they do not approve. umm,if your age difference didnt matter,they wouldnt have denied you based on it.
so i assume your age gap is so big,youre afraid of getting judged,IF that is the case,i suggest you get married,and if possible spend a number of months together to have enough evidence to prove your marriage is bonafide.because if they denied you because the red flag the age raises,then the denial factor is still there,so you need to frontload with evidence.
to those who say they CAN NOT deny someone based on age difference...you cant tell a CO to not do something.its unusual for MENA men to go after older women ( even tho that doesnt mean there is fraud going on and the american woman is aware of it ) so it raises red flags,they are just doing damage control.

Brace yourself for a long ride my friend. Because she is from Iran, this most likely will not be a standard 4-6 journey. DHS is going to look at her hard. I mean up, down, sideways and every other way they can think of. These days they are in the paranoid mode. My fiancée is from Ethiopia and just because she worked in a Muslim country they gave us a hard time, and we have kids together. So expect the unexpected. I can't believe somebody said 95% chance of AP. No way that doesn't sound right at all. There has to be something that triggers suspicion before they would place it on AP. Such as the name checks seem to have hit in their database and they need to further checking, or maybe they are suspicious or your relationship, etc.

But 95% is way to harsh.

it has nothing to do with the relationship.when they are suspicious of relationships,they dont put cases through AP,they just request more evidence

I am pretty sure that this is not a new process, I believe that it is not a posted process and no one will tell you that you can ask when these conditions are met I think I got lucky when I got a response from the first Service request where it clearly states that you can request expedite for ONPT see earlier post text from first service request

Conditions needed
How is that determined? your NOA1 date is your posted start date ( I asked one agent when was my start date and she said it was on your first notice )
USCIS website Posted processing time for your Visa in my case K1 I129F 5 months ( Check the site last updated date and quote it in the letter )
Additional 30 days past posted processing times on USCIS site
NOA1 Date + posted processing time + 30 additional days = ONPT

When these conditions are met you can request a expedite for ONPT

actually back when CSC was slow ( about 6 months ago ) this wasnt the usual process,believe me,i tried :D whatever works tho,even if its a new process,its good,people who have been over 5 months deserve it
