IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Administrative Processing experience 221(g)	Any luck getting the visa?  i haven't yet submitted any docs, waiting for my passport and the tax docs that my husband sent to me.  Maybe on Tuesday next week, I will send them.  I do not have the eagerness anymore to get the visa.  What I want now is to be with my husband. We have options already.  I got hurt and have cried so much already.  Getting tired but we will still wait until we get the visa even it takes several weeks or months.  But the good side is we have learned and our love for each other is getting stronger.  With all this visa journey stress, disappointments and frustrations makes us more stronger and more in-love.  Of course with the help of you and other VJ members. In almost every case here on V J there are these difficulties to overcome which is exactly why the site was created I think. Please don't get too down about what is going on right now. This is truly a journey and a love story. Both can be difficult but rewarding in the end. Keep in mind your journey wont end upon entering the USA. Its just begun. The price we pay isn't really money but of emotions. Do your best every day to invest yours in positive thinking.   Keep in mind the lessons of Buddha and the concept of karma as you travel down this road on your journey.  Do not ever lose hope because in the end you will have what you worked for. If it helps you to understand, in my own case it took a long 408 days to get my visa. It was worth every minute but at the time it was painful. And we will live happily ever after.  LOL  Like a fairy tale.   Good that you have passed this nightmare already and you are now enjoying your life with your family.  Wish u all the best my friend. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Administrative Processing experience 221(g)	Did you give them all this information at interview or did you send it all with the I-130?  Sometimes the evidence from the I-130 doesn't make it to the NVC or to the embassy.  I don't know why.  It would be best to resubmit everything they ask for and more!  Obviously it was lost somehow.  We gave some to the USCIS, then I brought more with me during the interview.  Definitely will give more except the ones I have already submitted to them at my interview.  I even ask the CO interviewer #2 (thai lady) if I can get them back, she said they will still need them. CO interviewer #1 even said your documents are complete.  Then later on she asked for more from 221(g).  It's alright,  I already accepted if they deny me we already an option to live in Bangkok and wait until it's done.    Thanks NLR. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Administrative Processing experience 221(g)	You can email and them and get more specific information on what they want.  I'd actually suggest doing that.  Email subject line needs to be' IV Inquiry BNK2014xxxxxx'  with the xxxxxx being the last 6 digits of your case number.  There response to me back in 2009 was something like "The applicant only submitted 3 photos and some cards, we need more photos of you together"   Ohh and they don't care about skype logs, or phone records.  People can make that stuff up.  They want photos.      Okay I would ask my husband to email them as you mentioned.  Thank you so much. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Administrative Processing experience 221(g)	Give them what they want and you should be fine.  We got a 221g back in 2009 for some of the same things.  I gave them an updated tax transcript for 2008 and that took care of that.  I filed 2008 as single as well even though I had been married since 2006, because my wife didn't have a social security number.  Do you have a social security number?  I doubt it, so explain it that way.   Give them more photos as well.  They seem to like photos more than any other evidence there for some reason.   You can read about our interview experience here.  It sounds like it's somewhat similar to yours.   http://www.visajourn....php?entry=4078   We already gave them all the pics we had together, family and my friends.  I also submitted our yahoo emails, skype chat logs, phone records, etc. but she still requested them. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Administrative Processing experience 221(g)	The American CO handed me the 221g after she interviewed me and then she asked me to wait again.  I waited and called my name and asked to go to room #4 so I went.  Then i was interviewed again by the thai lady and she took note of my answers.  Then she told me to send to them the requested items from 221g.  Does it mean that they would only wait for my letter and docs then visa approval.  If ever they would give me another interview I hope not the same CO, she was mean and scary. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Administrative Processing experience 221(g)	ff= abbreviation for "following"   Renewing the passport I wil definitely renew it.  The blue letters were my corrections to their mistakes of their questions (wrong information).  And also evidence of relationship were all submitted and also the pics being together and with my family and friends, but here they still asked as well as the phone calls, chat logs, cards, emails, we have them all.     I was sharing my experience.  But if you can help, please.  How long do you think before they issue my visa after providing them with what they requested from us. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Administrative Processing experience 221(g)	I had my interview last June 6, 2014.  I went so early and I was the first on the line to be interviewed.  I waited a long time to be called, then I was called.  She greeted me good morning and I greeted back.  She said that my docs is complete.  She started question.  She looked like she was irritated of something and kept on scratching her neck and fixing her hair and she had red eyes.  She looked scary the way she looked at me.  Anyways she was not happy with me, then she handed me the 221 (g) and then she changed her mind and asked me to wait.  Then they called me again to a room #4 (not a window) and started interviewing me, she is a thai lady and very nice.  So I felt very relaxed with her.  Then she asked me to send what they asked me thru registered mail and gave me back the original civil docs and my passport bec  I need to renew it (but I still have 7 months before it expires but the letter states that validity of passport at least 8 months.   Here are the ff.   * Evidence of your relationship with petitioner (i.e photographs, letters, emails, phone bills, old household registration books. ( I already                                        submitted during my interview) * Others:     1. Applicant, please submit new passport with validity of at least 8 mos.     2. Petitioner, please submit ....... divorce decree from ....     3. Petitioner, please explain why you .....     4. Petitoner, please explain why you have not returned to visit applicant in 1.5 years  ( wrong, bec he visited me 5x  from Jan, 2013 until Jan                    2014)     5. Petitioner, please submit more substantial evidence of relationship spanning for almost 3 year relationship.  ( wrong length of year)     6. NBC	Kaylara- it sounds like you spoke with the same jerk off as I did!  He told me they were still working on Feb 2013 cases and I said I knew various cases from March, April, and May which had been approved.  He said "no, they're working on Feb cases"  I said "well national average is at 7.4 months and I'm at 9" he told me "you're wrong"  *sigh*  I was also told that *if* I do have an RFE (this was the one who told me I don't have one) it won't get sent out until after Dec 26.  I was like "after Dec 26?  So what, April, June, another year?"  He says "there's no way to tell, you just have to wait"   Anyways, my main point is you need to get Skype.  Calls to 1-800 numbers are FREE!  Even from international numbers.  I know I'd be in debt by now making these two hour phone calls internationally.  With Skype, they're free. We haven't got our mail for RFE which was sent Dec 10 according to them. But our lawyer sent us an email stating that the USCIS is requesting for my divorce decree, which we already gave to our lawyer. And our lawyer said they need a translation in English (will be done in 2 days). How come our lawyer got the RFE mail and we don't? I am a beneficiary from Thailand. Were they just going to no issue it and let your time to respond run out and close your case or something? How the heck are you supposed to provide more evidence when they haven't told you what evidence they require?   When was your RFE supposedly issued?    Are you guys all at Texas? Ours is in NSC. We got message for RFE on USCIS, Dec 4, 2013 mailed. Then Dec 10, we got 3 messages frm USCIS in one day. We changed address.(long time ago). After 2 hrs, 2nd message came and said "Dec 10, they sent RFE again. Then after 10 mins. The mail was sent to them bec we changed address. My husband called them, the tier said it was an error. The real message was Dec. 10 for RFE but until now we haven't received it yet. It's nearly 10 months of waiting and this is what we got, "ERROR". They make our lives more miserable. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	July 2014 Interviews	So hubby's interview went ok but we are now in AP. He had everything the NVC requested but apparently there is some other document having to do with marital status that he needed from some government agency there. This is frustrating to me because I went on NVC website under country specific and the only thing that was listed there was about the police clearance. So he was able to go get this document this afternoon. But he is only allowed to take it back to the embassy tomorrow between 4 and 4:30. Really? A half hour window? And on a Friday no less!! Ugh!!! I'm pretty disgusted right now. After 14 months of waiting and jumping thru hoops now this!!!!! I can't wait til this bs is over! And I was thinking we would be so happy and relieved today. And here we are still stressed out! What more could they want from us? They had our ORIGINAL marriage cert!!!!!!!!!! The lady at the embassy told him it may still be possible to get the visa next week but they don't do anything quickly there so I'm not holding my breath! Sorry for the rant. I'm just pi$$ed off!  I am the same,  they asked for some docs from the petitioner (my husband).  And the CO was a bit rude and confusing.  And they gave me another interview in a private room. I am so so so sad and my husband could not sleep.  They gave as checlist e.g.  I need a new passport bec it will expire in 7 months, civil docs from my husband and more proof about our relationship and we submitted everything to them.  What else do they need.  I think the CO was in a bad mood. the other woman next to me was the same AP.  Are there any possibility that we would be  denied?  Please help. What should I do? If I had to amend it when can I ? Should I just wait til next year when wife comes and has SSN ? Should I do it before her interview? If she's asked should she just tell them I am amending it when she hopefully gets her visa and SSN ? Idk?? So now, just wait and keeping fingers crossed. I will call to see if AOS packet accepted/approved but I assume it is. They got it on June 21. It was nice not to have to make a call but SO thankful for less time for this after almost 9 months at CSC. I think my husband is in disbelief. Hang in there everyone...in all due time. Well, I just called good ole NVC and they "don't show it as processed yet and can take up to 20 days", blah blah blah. Hhhmmm. And so it goes. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	List (months) of transfers for workload in October from NBC	We got this notice last week.  On October 17, 2013, we transferred your I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN, to your local USCIS Office for further processing. The new office has jurisdiction over your case and will send you a decision as soon as processing is complete or you will be notified if further information or action is needed. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address."   And today this. Initial Review The I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you.
