I just think it would be funny if someone from CSC came here on a K1 visa with a December petition. Then got married here. Applied for adjust of status. got that approved within three month. Tried marriage for a couple of months. Didn't work out. Got a divorce. And yet, our loved ones are still not here yet!

Immediate relative has not cap. I think that is the main reason they have to make the process slow. But I believe this long process make fiancées from countries not participate in Visa waiver somewhat harder. We are less likely to see each other during the whole process.

I think he's right though. The man's got a point. It's so hard for us model, honest, responsible citizens to bring our loved ones to live here. But it seems so easy for the illegals to gain status. Or better yet, not deported if they are not criminals.
Kinda funny, right?

I think this is what they can do to bring VSC processing time down under five month again. The December filers will get their decisions in next two weeks, approvals,RFEs. Because they are in the seventh month. Then early JAnuary filers will get their decisions in the second half of June. They are at 5.5 months. On the third week of June, we will start to see January filers left in VSC got their decisions. When they proceed in July, most December and January files would have at least one decision from them, and VSC should start to process February by then ( it's their sixth month.
I hope VSC would try their best effort to process petitions in a timely manner.
Good luck everyone.
Angelina, I think you will get an approval next Tuesday or Wednesday since you are the first inline for the transfers. Early congratulations to you.

A new month would start next Monday. With some cases completed their transfer process. I hope we can see VSC and TSC poping out approvals at a rate of at least two thousand cases a month. Otherwise, March or later filers would have to even wait longer than the current waiting time.

Hey Guys. Anyone try to email Texas Service Center as they would have first hand info, right? And tier 1 rep wouldn't know much because it is way above their pay grade. I think I129f is close enough with I130. TSC shouldn't have problems using those HR to do the work. Good Luck, ya'll!!!
I just hope the ones left at VSC would be processed soon...

My file got touched ... ,,,,first on the 24th and now today... Food news ????
On May 29, 2013, we transferred your I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E), to your local USCIS Office for further processing. The new office has jurisdiction over your case and will send you a decision as soon as processing is complete or you will be notified if further information or action is needed. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address.

Or good news ?????

Case got to TSC and local office? What's next? Approval very soon!!!

As of 5/23/2013 at 9pm...VSC has had one approval for the day...if this is your idea of "moving" I want some of your kool-aid....sad.png

Vj approval does not equal to USCIS approval. Only account ten percent of all petitioners( not calculating both couple registed and setup timelines)

USCIS Service CentersI'm so depressed :( come on vsc!!

Department of Homeland Security is relatively new, but the visa process isn't new and there should be an organized method of getting through these applications in a timely fashion.  There really is no excuse for it, but outside of complaining to our centers or our respective Service Centers, It's pretty much out of our control.

If I129f could be processed at local office just like N400, and I485, I bet California wouldn't be so fast at all.

USCIS Service CentersI'm so depressed :( come on vsc!!

Honestly they should both be within 5 months at all times.  Anything more than that is truly uncalled for.  The system is a disorganized mess at both (I would bet all) service centers, and there really seems to be no real organization.  If this were a business, management would be at the very least in fear for their jobs at this very moment, but it's government and it's our only legal recourse

Well, they are not running for profit. But I wish they would have the service like ordering your passport. You can pay more to expedit it. I guess DHS is the newest department. They can't be as organized as DOS. Somehow, DOS would control the overall processing time a bit by NVC and consulate processing time.

I don't get your point :S. A lot of this data isn't relevant now as this was during CSC's I-129F coma when they were processing next to nothing. It's since April that they went above and beyond and are now well within the 5 month goal. What do you mean?

CSC had a lot application on hand. That's why they need to speed up the process. VSC is about 6 month mark at all times?

The overall trend data? How do you mean?

Look at three numbers in CSC data
Total applications
Applications completed
Applications received
They have to process fast for a reason.

I'm absolutely disgusted by the fact that CSC are beginning on February filers and VSC still haven't finished October. How the hell is a 4 month gap fair on anyone?!

Hey, look up the numbers on uscis for the two centers on March. New released data. What you think?

I agree completely!

I sit and read the good and the bad and cry with either one. I can't wait to feel that excitement and the knowledge that another step is behind us but it is so hard to keep it together some days. Today is one and I am on the verge of tears at any given moment. I just want to go home from work but of course, can't. Trying to keep a stiff upper lip but man it's hard!

I know this may seem a silly question but what is a touch? Is it simply when we contact the agency? Thanks from the newbie.

USCIS Service CentersCSC
I called today (not having been on this site recently to read what others have written) and was told there is a back log at CSC, to be patient, nothing more to do at this time, etc. The last time I looked at this site, I felt sad/anxious and stopped reading because I was overwhelmed by everyone's situations, responses from these institutions, etc. I got back from Jamaica last night and decided I would call today since I am at 5 months. Now, here I sit reading and not feeling as alone as I have been. SIGH!!! What else to do?
In the mean time, I have gotten everything else together that is needed when the time comes. How does everyone stay sane?
How often should CSC be contacted?

USCIS Service Centersprocessing time updates

Yes we got NOA1 and its mention 5 months. :(

I don't think it ever changed. I dont think they are at 5 months and I am getting more upset by the week. NOA1 8/29/11. Now, there are plenty of people from September getting theirs but not sure why. I am done with the waiting already !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

@jamaicaluv my husband called them bck today n surprisingly they said that he did a service request on march 13 n he should hear frm them soon so am waiting to c ow long this will take now..and thanxx fo asking that question cuz I wanna know too

When I called 2 weeks ago, they should have done the request but as fas as I know, they did not. I would think that if the congressman's office calls, they would make one depending on the time frame but not sure of that either. So, again, who knows??? Life is on hold, still.

Still can't hear a thing n I'm heading 8 mnths

Me neither. next week will be 7 months and it is so maddening that people are getting approvals in September. You start to wonder what the hell is going on? I know our app is being reviewed at this time, has been assigned an officer but that is it. Filed a service request and they said it should not take longer than 2 weeks for response. Any one else get a service request and how long did it take to get a response?
Thanks,

USCIS Service CentersWhy are they still in august?

Why don't they do some serious load balancing? The CSC processing time is 2x the Vermont and nearly 3x TSC. I filed January 5th for CR1 after getting bullied out of a K1 last year. The waiting is driving me nuts.

All Iknow is they haven't gotten to all of us who did file in August. It will come but it is extremely difficult to keep holding on. 7 months today

USCIS Service Centersprocessing times
From what I understood today, it takes longer than 1/2 hour. It's a background check on the petitioner/USC. Why I have an extension, I will never know, I'm just an average gal
JamaicaLuvFemaleJamaica2012-04-03 20:01:00
USCIS Service CentersEmailed the president...

There are major delays at CSC as well. There are CSC cases that have been waiting since November\December last year. Some of them from November started getting approved in the beginning of August therefore the 5 months’ time line doesn’t apply. I applied for my parents in February and I am at the 7 months mark right now – a process that should have not been longer than 2-3 months (the average time line on the USCIS website is 5 months). H1B, OPT extensions are being delayed as well. Let’s not forget that it is an election year.

Good luck everyone!

Yes, this is very true. I wrote a lovely post elsewhere that you just have to suck it up!!! Basically. I was at CSC for 9 months. Swallow that pill!

They cannot guarantee any result, but a lot of times they can try to 'push' for a decision quicker.

This is for your congressman:

For your senator:

www.senate.gov

I've contacted both offices to help me.  I first did my senator and they told me that I should have a decision by end of July.  They asked me to follow up on July 2nd with them.  My congressman's office is contacting them this week, so I hope to hear from them.  I'm hoping having both offices behind them will expedite the process, but that's only a hope, not a guarantee.

For some reason the congressman's site did not come up, here it is:

Yea, when I got the initial notice a few weeks ago that it's being moved to my local office, the Tier 2 guy did not even know that had happened and he said call back.  Then when I spoke to them yesterday (it was the same manager), no help.  Calling in does not help any.  The real info lies with actual offices and service centers.

Alright, so my senator's office called me just now.  They said that my petition is 'in transit' within the Texas Service Center to get to an officer there.  The Texas Service Center said to give them 45 days maximum for a decision.

I hope that an inquiry will expedite their decision making process.  My senator's office also said to contact them on July 2nd for a followup.  I'll keep you all posted!
