It is DECEMBER, 11 !!!! A week from today!!! I almost fell of my chair, I never expected it so fast. Statistically Kiev is about 20-40 days from scheduling to actual date. I found this out today when I called up to change my fiance's address, and also found out that they are sending the documents to Naples, Italy instead of Tirana, Albania. I had a feeling this was going to happen because he currently lives in Italy, but is moving back to Albania very very soon. I requested that the documents be sent to Albania in the I-129F packet, but obviously that did no good. The woman at NVC told me that I need to submit the address change in writing and hope that the file doesn't get sent to Naples before they are able to change the address. I wrote a letter ASAP and sent it Fedex Priority Overnight (will arrive tomorrow by 10:30am). I really hope that the docs don't get sent to Naples, because that will DEFINITELY slow us down. I have been to Naples before, and although I absolutely LOVED IT there, I definitely DO NOT want to depend on them to straighten this matter out. I hope it gets resolved tomorrow. Pray for me!!!!! USCIS told us it will be transferred in two weeks since last week. i hope that this message from uscis is not scripted... hehe... we are targeting that by mid-Nov, our case should be already in NVC. I was told by USCIS that it would take at least 60 days from NOA2 to NVC. Because they have a new shipping contractor, and they have to fill a crate each month for sending. So on top of all this long waiting for NOA2 and all the new high fees for improving services they also find a new "better" contractor who requires stuff to fill their crates and ships it across USA in 60 days Why dont they just ask us to pay 10 dollars more and send each of our petitions separately by US mail as soon as it gets approved? You know these days US mail can handle these things in like 3 days instead of 60 So now what can we do? Just keep waiting till we receive a letter from NVC that they got it?
