K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Police Certificate for the U.S.	When I received Packet 3 from the US Embassy it had a list of names of countries from which a person most likely wouldn´t even receive a police certificate cuz the country wouldn´t give it to him/her. Then we kept awaiting an approval every day although the approval was still far away and we had no clue when it was coming. And when people who filed after us got approved, we were happy for them. Then one day, we got approved too...and we were happy that we got approved. November was there and there were still people who filed before we did (in May and earlier) who were still not approved...and they were happy for us although they already needed their approval so bad... K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Taking a break	It´s been like a month and a half since you sent your petition I don´t think it´s time to worry too much about it yet. I know people keep getting approved so fast these days (2-3 months). Last year USCIS was trying to drive us insane. There were lotsa people who never even got NOA1 until 4 months from sending the petition. And NOA2? That was just a far away dream. 6-8 months of waiting for most of us yikes At that point we were cheering for every single approval and were glad if whoever was approved (people after us, before us, around us, everyone). In September, VSC like almost completely stopped approving all K1 visas and noone was getting approved for a while at all. Don´t wish for anyone to have to go through that again. If your friends (or whoever it is that keeps discouraging you) don´t understand that, it´s their problem. You don´t need to apologize to them for living your life and being happy. Not sure if lack of support here should necessarily mean they don´t want the best for you. Cuz maybe they are just worried about you.
