Strange..I lived in Japan for 15 years and was never homesick for the states, but I've been back here 4 1/2 years and I'm still immensely homesick for Japan.

Germany...was there 5 years ago with my fiance visiting with friends and being tourists...had a great time! Hope you have fun with your friends while you're there smile.gif

Aww...and don't cry StillThePrettiest...you can always visit home and who knows what the future may bring, your fiance may want to move to your hometown someday...as long as your together, it really doesn't matter smile.gif

but her hometown would be in Australia and she will be homesick for Europe mostly I think.. sad.gif

*suddenly immensely homesick for Germany sad.gif *

now how Europe homesick are you gonna be when you go to USA?

The problem with using Nebraska or Texas as the center is very few people within the last six months have put them on there timeline. Most change it to CSC because that is where there case is. Now the problem with that is it only takes a few potations that took over a year to get there NOA2 to mess the numbers up like it is now. The worst case would be if listed as CSC rather then TSC is maybe add a few days for the forwarding to California. And maybe after Your NOA2 date is entered change the center back to Texas.. The date given on my timeline was there for me to have a date to look forward to and thats it.

Just my thoughts

Someone correct me if I am wrong but I think I even read somewhere that later on the people who were supposed to file at TSC and NSC were then told to start filing at VSC...? So I think some TSC and NSC people are at CSC and the later ones are at VSC. Then it would really make sense to just say where the petition actually is and not where someone was supposed to file... unsure.gif

And u2rsobad - that was SUPER speedy!!! And with USPS being *so* good(!) as well!!! Sorry - am very bitter about my evidence taking six weeks to get to the US because they couldn't figure out how to deliver to the address I put on - even though it was the same as I always write it... Of course had it got there earlier I would now be a June filer and therefore would have been less likely to meet the wonderful July filers smile.gif

OFF TOPIC
I've done 21 jumps now....5 static line at 2,000ft (solo jump but chute pulls automatically as attached to plane), 5 tandem skydives between 5,000 and 10,00ft and 11 solo skydives between 8,000 and 10,000 ft. It's a great thrill. My first jump was for charity and I was scared sh1tless. Then once I landed I was perm-a-grin for a week and I was hooked. Between that jump and walking the 96mile highland way in 6 days whilst carrying all our own tent and camping survival kit me and 5 friends have raised just over £18,000 for a cancer care charity after a close friend died from cancer aged 19 6 years ago.

Thats amazing good.gif And sorry to hear about loss rose.gif rose.gif rose.gif

Interestingly, when I called the CSC yesterday and spoke with the Immigration Officerette, and I complained because my Case Status Online should have reflected touches from each of my calls, the Officerette said that calls do NOT necessarily or automatically result in a touch, even when someone calls to inquire about an RFE.

This would explain why MY file hasn't shown any touches, but how does this correlate with everyone else calling and being touched as a seeming result of the call?

We had no touches...not even prior to the approval. Only got touched after we placed a service request cuz never received NOA1. No need to worry smile.gif good.gif

At least I have my approval, I'm thankful for that. One question though, I've already got all my forms to send him, do you think they're going to be "expired" or too far off since they haven't sent it to NVC yet? Well maybe not because My NOA2 is dated the 1st and if they look at the supporting evidence it's dated after that, so what do you think?

Hey Rodgiegirl smile.gif yeah we have also been thinking we were sent off with the Nov 6th crate...I can´t think of any reason why it shouldn´t be that way. CSC claims they wait to fill the crates so our stuff should have already been in it. Anyways...we are pretty patient as for now. This part of the waiting doesn´t seem too bad. Marta, I think all Rob means is that the List is just a bit of fun - it's interesting, and gives us a rough idea of how many VJ members are ahead of us in line, but that's all it is... we CAN'T make it accurate, so all it can do is give us a broad idea

so he wasn't meaning that the people didn't matter, just that whether the list shows them or not doesn't really make much difference in the end...

and as a few people have said: if USCIS have said they've finalised all petitions before April 12, then it's pretty safe to assume that those VJ members still showing open petitions simply haven't updated them; no one else has been removed from the list

smile.gif

I believe most of them are still waiting tongue.gif
