Are you talking about me? blink.gif tongue.gif

Not specifically but yeah wink.gif But at least it is all just projected dates - who knows what goes on in USCIS... *imagines Homer-like brain activity... from the Simpsons that is...*

And Debz - let's keep our fingers crossed smile.gif

I don´t think NOA2 depends on when we received NOA1 (in our case replacement of NOA1) tongue.gif So there tongue.gif The received date on the NOA1 is still June and not October...so there tongue.gif biggrin.gif kicking.gif

It´s not so easy to wait tilll we get to day 140 and then start sitting on the edge of the seat tongue.gif When you keep seeing late May filers being approved and you are in the middle of June, then you think "Ok, our turn is gonna be really soon, maybe in two weeks we get approved tongue.gif" ...That´s how it goes...but weeks pass and they still keep doing late May filers tongue.gif

To get a clear picture of the CSC workload of VJ petitions we need to look at all service centers and then subtract out VSC. NSC and TSC petitions sent in May are being processed by CSC.

There are 99 open CSC / NSC / TSC petitions sent in May that still need to be adjudicated. There are also some March and April petitions that are still hanging around. Over the last 14 days, CSC has approved 3.29 petitions per day which is a little faster than I realized in one of my recent posts in another thread. At 3.29 approvals per day, it is estimated that it will take approximately 30 days to clear out May.

Everything is subject to change. CSC may slow down or accelerate the rate of approval. Also hopefully some of the approvals will be March and April filers. I think 30 to 40 days to finish May is a decent guess as of today.

Scott & Marta, I see your total is slightly different than mine. Are you going by NOA1 date or sent date? Did you search from May 1 to May 31? If you did, VJ excludes the starting and ending dates. You need to search from April 30 to June 1 to get the first and last day of May.

As far as drop outs, in 2006 roughly 14% of the people who established a timeline never reported a NOA2. Approximately a third of those never reported a NOA1 either.

Ok, yeah I searched from 1st to 31st...went by sent date..

probably. still a lot of people are not updating their timelines or do not even report whether they received NOA2 or not.
I really do not think that it will take about 6 months to get NOA2 if you have everything ready. Obviously a lot of may filers received NOA2 now and did not wait for 6 months.

And last week I think there was someone getting an approval after about 196 days...and some people are crossing 5 months already...and not to mention people, who filed last year in November and such...and today there is an rfe after 150 days ...so yeah..the waiting period seems to be increasing...hopefully it will not good.gif

OK, so it does include them, but after I took a closer look only 3 of today´s approvals are CSC filers...the other 2 filed in Nebraska and Texas and I guess were transfered to CSC...so the number 63 includes only people who filed at CSC...so the final number will be larger depending on who was transfered where...so 63 plus the transfered ones good.gif

Ok here goes: 63 filed in CSC, 10 filed in Nebraska and 17 in Texas...assuming all of them were transfered to CSC = 90 May filers

OK, I just checked the timeline statistics and there are 63 May and 77 June filers waiting at CSC without NOA2. So I have to change my hopes. If we want them to start doing June filers in 3 weeks, they´d have to do at least 30 May approvals this and the next week. And they don´t seem to be doing 30 a week wacko.gif
Let´s go CSC! kicking.gif Let´s do 30 approvals a week! kicking.gif I don´t mind not winning the sweepstake in that case tongue.gif whistling.gif

We were getting soda at a fast food place today. Ordered one large soda. Got to the fountain with the cup and filled it in. I started drinking right away cuz I was so thirsty. I´m thinking: "hmm...it´s cold but I can´t feel any bubbles..." I gave it to my honey and he said "yeah, it´s totally flat". So we went to try other machines and sodas and it was all flat. So we wento back to the lady who sold us the cup and she said "yeah...it´s being taken care of"
Right. Like she couldn´t have told us while we were getting the cup. And ofcourse there were large families getting lotsa drinks sitting down with them or taking them in the cars. Nobody was told anything. And the lady.. she kinda just expected us to wait without telling us for how long. (Well we asked for a refund tongue.gif)
It´s just a silly story, but reminded me a lil bit of something else...hence what tongue.gif whistling.gif

I don't know where this idea came from that zoomer has his list sorted by NOA1 received date. The only received date that zoomer knows with certainty is his own.

The VJ timeline NOA1 dates that zoomer utilizes are probably a combination of NOA1 hard copy received, notice and priority dates as well as some USCIS online case status petition received dates. (Note that the online received date usually differs from the hard copy received date.) In addition, recently added instructions on the VJ timeline edit page tell members to enter the hard copy notice date as the NOA1 date. This means that VJ is actively encouraging members not to enter the received date on their timelines. (I disagree with VJ on this, but have followed instructions and entered my notice date.)

In my humble opinion, zoomer should sort his list by sent date. Received date normally follows sent date by a few days so the sent date is the best indicator we have of where we all stand in line.

On your NOA1 what does your recieved date say? not the notice date. that is what he goes by for the list.

Chris

well like i said ...received date is 06-15...but the VJ timeline asks for when we received NOA1 receipt so they can include it in their statistics as for "average days from sending petition to receiving NOA1" ...so that´s why in VJ timeline i stated i received NOA1 10-05...and i guess that´s where he takes the data from...
